O Yes! He answers prayer. As our topic for today depicts, the God I serve answers prayer, only Jesus answers prayer. today as you pray, the Lord will hear from on high and He will answer you.
In case you are worried, challenged, upset, despair, I want you remember one thing our God answers prayer. Our sub-topic says ‘you must be reoriented by scripture.’ Yes! This is as important as ever. The only ladder on which our prayers lean to be answered is on the Word of God (Jn 8:31-32). So how will your prayer be answered if you don’t know how? The ‘how’ is in the Word.
From the Word of God you see and also learn that God answers prayers and therefor when you pray and wait, you are doing so because of the assurance in the Word of God. When you stand forth, you are doing that because you know that His Word faileth not.
Lord, have Your way as we pray today again, we know You must show up. It might not be in the early moment but He must show up before the eleventh hour of the day, so tarry and pray on, for He will surely show up in that situation you are trusting Him.

Friends may be unfaithful, but the Lord will not turn away from the gracious soul; on the contrary, He will hear all its desires. The prophet says, “Keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. A man’s enemies are the men of his own house.” This is a wretched state of affairs; but even in such a case the Best Friend remains true, and we may tell Him all our grief.
Our wisdom is to look unto the Lord, and not to quarrel with men or women. If our loving appeals are disregarded by our own relatives, let us wait upon the God of our salvation, for He will hear us. He will hear us all the more because of the unkindness and oppression of others, and we shall soon have reason to cry, Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy!”
Because God is the living God, He can hear; because He is a loving God, He will hear; because He is our covenant God, He has bound Himself to hear us. If we can each one speak of Him as “My God,” we may with absolute certainty say, My God will hear me.” Come, then, O bleeding heart, and let thy sorrows tell themselves out to the Lord thy God! I will bow the knee in secret, and inwardly whisper, “My God will hear me.”

There are times when, in the darkest moments of your life, the only comfort left for you is a word from God. Jesus faced the cruel injustice of a hostile world, but perhaps His deepest pain came when His closest friends deserted and betrayed Him. What could possibly sustain Him at such a dark moment? Jesus found His comfort in the Scriptures (Matt. 26:20–25, 31). The Scriptures kept everything in perspective for the Savior, holding Him steadfast in the knowledge that everything He was experiencing was according to His Father’s plan. Jesus could proceed with confidence because the Scriptures assured Him that the Father was in control.
The word of God will guide you in the same way. There will be times when events around you will confuse you. Those in whom you’ve placed your trust will fail you. Others will abandon you. You will be misunderstood and criticized. In these times of distress, when your devotion and obedience are put to the greatest test, you must let Scripture guide and comfort you. Never let the faithlessness of others determine what you do. Turn to the Scriptures and allow them to reorient you to God and His activity.
Even as a young boy, Jesus was already well acquainted with the Scriptures. He was never surprised by events; He lived with confidence because the Scriptures had prepared Him for everything that He would face.
If you will immerse yourself daily in the word of God, you will not be caught off guard when crises come. Your focus will already be on God, and He will safely guide you through your difficult moments.
Yea! This is a bitter truth. Why some thing we don’t look into the book of liberty as often as we should. Therefor if when we are challenged it become difficult to manage. May the Holy Spirit make available for us the grace to eat the Word as did the Jeremiah of old. Praise God.
Is God faithful yes! He is. Only look unto Him, He is the Alpha and Omega of everything.
Father, once again, we are before You, consider our request and may it please you to answer us in Jesus Name.
Beloved, the One who made your ears, will His ear be close? Therefore again today as this the last of it in this wonderful month of encounter. Pray like never before. Pray as many more miracles will be done for us before the end of this month.
