Our Father Who art in heaven hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank You Father for a new week, a blessed day You have given us privilege to partake of. Glory be to Your Name. blessed Redeemer, we thank You, we bless Your Name for ever and ever. We are grateful Father, thank You.

Arise O God! Let your Presence be felt in this place. Let your healings come with wings and touch us. Deliver them that are oppressed. Give peace to every heart that takes repose in You. Arise O God! let your Name alone be glorified in this place.  Faithful God, we bless You, be thou exalted O Lord high above the earth.

Beloved, how are doing? Hope the weekend was good? Good to be here. Receive the peace that passeth all understanding as you read through in Jesus Name. Let us raise our voice and blessed our Father, we worship You, Lord. Be Thou exalted, Lord. We magnify You, be thou exalted above the earth.

Beloved, you are the salt of the world, we are the light of the World. I am sure you know it by now. What is this fragrance part all about? You will discover as the ministration unfold.

Just a little retrospective, our topic on Friday taught us to offer our best to God. What is your decision on that? How far have you gone with that?

Fragrance means with aroma. The Word of God is commanding us to be a sweet savour, an acceptable sacrifice unto God (Phil 4: 18).

Are you one if I may ask? Another cross examination is needed here. Do you have odour of sweet savour? How positively are influencing those around you? A friend of my mine sent something to me on whatsapp on how Sir Nicholas Winton singlehandedly rescued 669 Jewish children from the Holocaust in 1938 and kept it to himself but was later discovered by wife, who let the information out to a journalist who invited all those children to honour him later in his life. He did it without any overt interest or any interest at all but as a service to God.  I was deeply touch by this act of kindness which will not have been without a risk and threats to his life. God rewarded him and he went to glory at the age of 106.

Beloved, are you on display for Jesus? Are you scenting every place you are known for Jesus? Beloved, the Word said we are fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. Can it be said of you?

Let this Word not rise against us as we claim that we are children of God, born again, Spirit filled without good works. May God help us in Jesus Name.

But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ, and spreads through us in every place the scent of knowing Him.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.—2 Corinthians 2:14–15

Whenever the Romans won a major military victory they would celebrate with a spectacular parade. The commanding general would lead the procession in a magnificent chariot, followed by his soldiers, musicians, and other officials. Then, soldiers would lead the defeated enemies through the city in bondage.

As a part of the celebration, the Romans would burn fragrances on altars, filling the entire city with a pleasant aroma. Even those who could not witness the triumphal procession could hear the victory music and smell the pleasing incense. Everyone would know that their army had been victorious. The special fragrance came to symbolize victory to anyone who smelled it.

Paul used this vivid imagery to describe the effect that Christians should have in the world. According to Paul, God permeates our lives with the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, our lives should demonstrate to others that Christ is victorious.

As unbelievers observe our lives, they should become aware of the victorious power of Christ. As other Christians witness the victory Christ gives us over our sin, they can rejoice in the triumph of their Lord and gain confidence that Christ will bring victory in their lives as well.

The most compelling evidence that Christ is alive and triumphant is His activity in the lives of His people. It is a privilege to be the fragrance of Christ by which others learn of God’s life-changing power over sin. Your life ought to be convincing proof that God continues to work powerfully in the lives of His people.

As fragrance you are to influence others. Let us take a decision to be sweet offering unto God. Strangers in the sanctuaries are abomination unto God.  Are you a stranger in God’s sanctuaries? If you are sure then join to see what make up a stranger in God’s sanctuaries. Let get going:

“Strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the Lord’s house.” Jeremiah 51:51

In this account the faces of the Lord’s people were covered with shame, for it was a terrible thing that men should intrude into the Holy Place reserved for the priests alone. Everywhere about us we see like cause for sorrow.

How many ungodly men are now educating with the view of entering into the ministry! What a crying sin is that solemn lie by which our whole population is nominally comprehended in a National Church! How fearful it is that ordinances should be pressed upon the unconverted, and that among the more enlightened churches of our land there should be such laxity of discipline.

If the thousands who will read this portion shall all take this matter before the Lord Jesus this day, He will interfere and avert the evil which else will come upon His Church. To adulterate the Church is to pollute a well, to pour water upon fire, to sow a fertile field with stones. May we all have grace to maintain in our own proper way the purity of the Church, as being an assembly of believers, and not a nation, an unsaved community of unconverted men.

Our zeal must, however, begin at home. Let us examine ourselves as to our right to eat at the Lord’s table. Let us see to it that we have on our wedding garment, lest we ourselves be intruders in the Lord’s sanctuaries. Many are called, but few are chosen; the way is narrow, and the gate is strait. O for grace to come to Jesus aright, with the faith of God’s elect.

He who smote Uzzah for touching the ark is very jealous of His two ordinances; as a true believer I may approach them freely, as an alien I must not touch them lest I die.

Heartsearching is the duty of all who are baptized or come to the Lord’s table. “Search me, O God, and know my way, try me and know my heart.”

Beloved, heartsearching is our duty now. May the Holy Spirit point it out for you now in Jesus Name. May we live and not die in our service unto God in Jesus Name.

This week is declared blessed in Jesus Name. Go in the Name of the Lord and be victorious in Jesus Name. May you be a fragrance unto our Lord Jesus and as He commanded us.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
