Let the living praise the Lord, let the living praise the Lord, let the living praise the Lord, let the living praise the Lord.// who is like unto Thee O Lord ! who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, you are glorious in holiness, fearful in praising doing wonders alleluia.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a grateful heart, thank You for the gift of life, You are great. You are great.  We lift up our voices unto You alone for You are worthy to be praise. Eternal Rock of Ages we bow before Your throne to exalt Your Holy Name. O Lord my God hear us today as we pray in Jesus Name.

Beloved, are you ready? How often are ready to pray? We are instructed to pray without season. Apostle Paul also instructed us to preach in season and out of season. You will agree without me that we cannot function in those two capacity without readiness.

To be ready and equip unto good works beloved we heed to Paul’s instruction to Timothy. In 2Tim 2:15 “study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”

In 2Tim 3:16 we also learn “that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be prefect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

Beloveth, why do you think that all these instructions are necessary and important in our Christian work? Hear what King David said in Psalms 32 then pay attention to verse 8 and 9 and it says “I will instruct thee and thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with mine eye, in verse 9 it says “be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, least they come near unto thee.”

Many are walking without good counsels thereby making their lives unpleasant unto the Lord, some have walked into sin because they fail to discover the demands of God from them by reading the Holy bible. Praise God!

Our topic today simply makes clear to us that our God is a jealous God. In the beginning, God made us for His pleasure but sin separated us from that union and the fellowship between God and man broken as a result we cannot fully enjoy all that was intended for from creation except through redemption.

Yesterday we considered a “Loyal heart,” hope you got something from it. Today, we are having our God presented to as a “Jealous God.”

Not only do God wants us to serve Him in faithfulness, He is also set to defend us till the end of time.

Beloved, what are those things that are challenging your sonship in Him, today marks the end as you pray.

He is a consuming fire as our text for the day depicts therefore every assault of Satan over your lives stops henceforth in Jesus Name. He will help you even as He has promised but you must love Him and be ready to serve Him all the days of your life.

Nothing must come between you and God. Anything that will hinder your total obedience and reverence He will put an end to as you will later discover as you read through the message below.

Our God first, before any other thing in your life else you will earn His wrath. Nothing will be too strong enough to separate us from the love of God. Praise the Name of the Lord!

Pray dearly beloved that nothing will come between you and God. Let your life style also show that you reverence God. Let’s read more:

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.—Deuteronomy 4:24

Our God is a consuming fire. He is satisfied only when His love totally consumes us. We usually think of a jealous person as someone resentful and suspicious, but the Lord’s jealousy on our behalf is something that should be precious to us! He has the complete right to our lives. He gave us life, and He wants to protect us from anything that could harm us. That is why He has commanded His children to worship no other gods, allowing nothing to distract us from His consuming love.

The Lord opposes anything that hinders our relationship with Him (Deut. 6:15). He knows the danger of other gods, how they will lure us away, deceive us, and leave us empty. He will tolerate nothing that takes precedence over our love for Him. Our faithfulness to God assures us of the abundant life He wants to give us. If we reject Him, He will pursue us until we return to Him.

We should not resent the fact that God wants to guard our relationship with Him. It should bring us comfort. Our relationship with God should be our top priority. It should dictate how we spend our time, our money, and our energy. If certain people or our possessions separate us from God, we must reexamine our hearts and give our devotion first to Him, as He commands.

God wants each of us to love Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength (Mark 12:30). Our love for God should extend to every corner of our lives. God loved us so much that He gave us His own Son. Let us respond by giving Him our highest devotion in return.

Beloved, we said so much about serving God with all our heart, mind and soul and strength. Did you just read that God loved us with so much that He gave His best to us, so God except nothing but our best also. Let’s get going:

“I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love.” Song 5:8

Such is the language of the believer panting after present fellowship with Jesus, he is sick for his Lord. Gracious souls are never perfectly at ease except they are in a state of nearness to Christ; for when they are away from Him they lose their peace. The nearer to Him, the nearer to the perfect calm of heaven; the nearer to Him, the fuller the heart is, not only of peace, but of life, and vigour, and joy, for these all depend on constant intercourse with Jesus.

What the sun is to the day, what the moon is to the night, what the dew is to the flower, such is Jesus Christ to us. What bread is to the hungry, clothing to the naked, the shadow of a great rock to the traveller in a weary land, such is Jesus Christ to us; and, therefore, if we are not consciously one with Him, little marvel if our spirit cries in the words of the Song, “I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, tell Him that I am sick of love.”

This earnest longing after Jesus has a blessing attending it: “Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness”; and therefore, supremely blessed are they who thirst after the Righteous One. Blessed is that hunger, since it comes from God: if I may not have the full-blown blessedness of being filled, I would seek the same blessedness in its sweet bud-pining in emptiness and eagerness till I am filled with Christ.

If I may not feed on Jesus, it shall be next door to heaven to hunger and thirst after Him. There is a hallowedness about that hunger, since it sparkles among the beatitudes of our Lord. But the blessing involves a promise. Such hungry ones “shall be filled” with what they are desiring.

If Christ thus causes us to long after Himself, He will certainly satisfy those longings; and when He does come to us, as come He will, oh, how sweet it will be!

Tell my beloved that I am sick of his love. Is any sick of the love of Christ, is any hungry and thirst for Christ let such a one, lift up his/her voice to cry to God now for He is ever ready to welcome such a person home.

Beloved ask God for help, He will indeed help you through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on you so as to help you.

May His blessing rest on you forever in Jesus Name as you cry unto your Father today.

Faithful God, we come before You with a humble heart help us and take away from us unfaithfulness in Jesus Name. Teach us your way and help us to grow in your Word as we study in Jesus Name.

Beloved, pray for wisdom to live upright before God. May you receive God’s guidance and protection as He jealously watch over you now and forever more Amen!!!!!
