You are too Excellent to talk about but who else can we talk about but You Who made us in Your image, but when man fell at the garden of Eden, You restored us back through the death of Your Son our Jesus who You at a time You made Him lower than angels, now crowned with glory and honour, because of the suffering of death, in order that through God’s grace He might taste death for every man. (Heb 2:7,9).

Beloved, the steadfastness of Lord never ceaseth, his mercies never come an end, it is new every morning (new every morning) Great is Thy faithfulness O Lord! Great is Thy faithfulness.

I don’t know how far and how deep your thoughts are towards God but I know that we cannot comprehend Him; we cannot understand His motive except what He made known to us. Our God is incomprehensible so likewise His way.

We say it time without numbers that we are to present to God what we want or desire but never dwell in how it will come about else you will be missing the mark; missing the Awesomeness of God, Praise the Lord!  Our God is sovereign. Yes! He is therefore we are to follow the teaching of today to be in the best place to speak about Him. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, how excited are you about God? Someone is asking in what sense evangelist? In all sense- in your walk and work with God. can you like the psalmist declared that you are glad when they say “let us go to the house of God?” or you see it as something not interesting bur have to be observed so to avoid “branding?”  in whatever way you look at it, beloved, if the Spirit of God dwells in your heart, you will always be excited about the things of God. if you have not smear your conscience with sin and worldliness and you have also cap it with the word of God, you will always be excited when you hear about God in discussion and in work.

How deep do you devote your time in knowing God and searching the scriptures about Him or do you belong to the group of (my pastor said) or (my daddy in the Lord said) to you. What is your spirit bearing witness to? What is residing in your spirit man about God? or do you see Him as One big God standing somewhere waiting for you to fail or sin then get punished for being rebellious or disobedient.

God is far from being just that, He created you first to be like Him- in His image (Gen 1:26). He love you even before you know Him (1 Jn 4:1-10), He is ever thinking and planning for you (Jer 29:11).

If you know or desire to know more about Him, here is another opportunity beckoning on you, do not let it slip off your hand, cease it and get into fellowship with God and you will be renewed and be fresh for the Master’s use (1Jn 1:1-3, 34:28-35)

This is opportunity we must all grab to desire know more of Him because it all worth doing. It is the greatest thing you should desire and aim at doing everyday of your life and you will go from glory to glory as the Spirit of God work through your flesh and make your spirit man alive in Christ. Come on with us for more discoveries about our God:

Nehemiah 10:1-11:19, Psalm 101:1-8, Proverbs 20:19-21, Romans 11:11-36

A Lost Art

For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?—Romans 11:34

A subject which is of great interest to many today is anthropology: the study of man. Although this subject is of great importance, for a Christian there is something far more important: the study of God. The great preacher C. H. Spurgeon said: “The highest science, the loftiest speculation, the mightiest philosophy that can ever engage the attention of a child of God is the name, the nature, the person, the work, the doings, and the existence of the great God whom he calls his Father.”

The contemplation of God seems to be a lost art today. We appear to be more concerned about subjects such as church growth, the end times, signs, wonders, and miracles. I am not suggesting these issues are unimportant, but they must not be allowed to replace the supremely important matter of the constant, earnest, and continued investigation of the great subject of the Deity. The more we know of God, the more effective will be our lives here on earth. Those who have given themselves to the study of God tell us that it humbles the mind, expands the soul, and consoles the heart.

It humbles the mind. When our minds grapple with other subjects, we feel a degree of self-content and come away thinking: “Behold, I am wise.” But when our minds engage with thoughts of God, we discover that there is no plumb line that can sound His depth, and we come away thinking: “Behold, I know nothing.” In an age that stresses the supremacy of the human ego, it is no bad thing to learn that there is something far greater.

Prayer

Gracious and loving heavenly Father, teach me how to focus on You and contemplate You so that all vanity and pride dies within me, and I go on my way no longer caught up with how wise I am but how wonderful You are. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What probing question does Isaiah ask?

What conclusion had Zophar come to?

Beloved, great exploits and discovery isn’t it? It humbles your mind and make you count everything as nothing. Apostle Paul had this understanding therefore he ran the race set before him with passion and greater persuasion that God is above all. He also saw every other achievements as a dung for the sake of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Can you declare same as he did? What can be said about you after you have lived here on earth? Will it be said that you are obedient to the vision of heaven or did you own bit not minding where and what God is doing or leading you to.

Desire to know God more dearly and you will be blessed (Ps 25:24). Had God said anything to you, He is big enough to bring it to pass, but you need to have an unbroken relationship with Him. On this note dearly beloved, we declare this week blessed and by the grace of God we will return at the end with testimonies.

Embrace your bible today and search through it. Read your most interesting chapter even the shortest verse, make it a Habit and very soon it will become an “ATTITUDE.”
