Blessed Redeemer, Eternal Rock of Ages, Alpha and Omega, Everlasting King of Glory, Invisible, Immortal God Only Wise. Thank You for today and the blessedness therein. We worship You Most High One, be Thou magnify. Glory be to You forever and forever.
We come before the One that sitteth on the Throne, we worship with the twenty and four elders in heaven. Holy holy, holy is Lord God the Almighty, Who was and Who is and Who is to come (Rev 4:8).
Beloved, thank God for His mercies truly endureth forever. Father give us the enabling grace to enter into the holy of holies (Heb 9:3). Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You for the finish work of Calvary that opened the gateway to God without hindrance or barriers (Heb 10:19-22).
Give us a sound heart O Lord; that we will not be put to shame, we pray this day. Beloved, pray this prayer with everything in you because this is the beginning of the beginnings. In everything we do, we must desire a heart that seek, thirst and pant after the truth, Jesus (Jn 14:6).
Such a heart the Lord will not forsake. Come and drink from the well His salvation and see you scaling heights more than ever before (Jn 4:10;13-14). Above all, make us to obey Your statues without reservation (Gen 19:15-23) May we not be a cherry picking Christians that cherry pick the scriptures. Looking for only promises and blessings without any good works to show for it.
Help us O Lord, that as we move along the way, that we will not be ashamed after our stay here on earth. May we boldly approach Thy Throne when our time is up here in Jesus Name.
A sound heart we pray Thee, Lord:
“Let my heart be sound in thy statutes: that I be not ashamed.” Ps. 119:80
We may regard this inspired prayer as containing within itself the assurance that those who keep close to the Word of God shall never have cause to be ashamed of doing so.
See, the prayer is for soundness of heart. A sound creed is good, a sound judgment concerning it is better, but a sound heart toward the truth is best of all. We must love the truth, feel the truth, and obey the truth, otherwise we are not truly sound in God’s statutes. Are there many in these evil days who are sound? Oh, that the writer and the reader may be two of this sort!
Many will be ashamed in the last great day, when all disputes will be decided. Then they will see the folly of their inventions, and be filled with remorse because of their proud infidelity and willful defiance of the Lord; but he who believed what the Lord taught, and did what the Lord commanded, will stand forth justified in what he did. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun. Men much slandered and abused shall find their shame turned into glory in that day.
Let us pray the prayer of our text, and we may be sure that its promise will be fulfilled to us. If the Lord makes us sound, He will keep us safe.
Safety is the Lord (Prov 21:31) as the Lord lives our safety is guaranteed (1 Sam 20:21). Therefore let us commit ourselves in His hand as we pray that God Himself shall do the work. When God arise on our behalf, the earth will quake; truly everyone will know of the truth the Lord is with thee and He is your Shepherd.

When the spoilers had made the land as waste as if devoured by locusts, and the warriors who had defended the country sat down and wept like women, then the Lord came to the rescue. When travelers ceased from the roads to Zion, and Bashan and Carmel were as vineyards from which the fruit has failed, then the Lord arose.
God is exalted in the midst of an afflicted people, for they seek His face and trust Him. He is still more exalted when in answer to their cries He lifts up Himself to deliver them and overthrow their enemies.
Is it a day of sorrow with us? Let us expect to see the Lord glorified in our deliverance. Are we drawn out in fervent prayer? Do we cry day and night unto Him? Then the set time for His grace is near. God will lift up Himself at the right season. He will arise when it will be most for the display of His glory. We wish for His glory more than we long for our own deliverance. Let the Lord be exalted, and our chief desire is obtained.
Lord, help us in such a way that we may see that thou thyself art working. May we magnify thee in our inmost souls. Make all around us to see how good and great a God thou art.
Indeed the set time to deliver Zion is now and the Lord God Almighty will no longer slack concerning His promises to His servant. Come O Lord and show forth thy glory in midst of your people. Glory be to You in the Highest.
We pray you Father of all creation to create in us a “sound Heart”. Make our days peaceful here on earth even as you deliver judgment on all your enemies in Jesus Name.
