All glory belongs to the King of kings, the Lord of lords for He is Worthy of our praise. I lift up my voice and blessed His Holy Name. His Hand has won me victory- the victory on the cross. The death that was meant for me, in my stead took Him. O what a glorious life He gave me in return.

Friday is here again, so many of us are looking forward to it while to some, it makes no difference. Either way, let us be thankful to God that we made it through another week. Blessed be his Holy Name.

Beloved, have you ever seen yourself in a difficult situation, expecting a strain discipline or penalty, and just as the clock is ticking, you anxiety grew also and finally the set time came and instead of the expected pronouncement you heard instead O! Is that you? Someone just came in and paid your bill, redeemed your charges, bailed you out, set you free etc.

How will you feel at the moment? Am hearing some voices at the background, someone said happy, another said dazed, yet another said shocked. Why this various answers, because the crime committed is no small one and penalty incurred is beyond the capacity of the accused.

Beloved, that is our case in redemption. Having incurred the wrath of God through sins, devil our enemy and tempter went before God to accused us of our wrong doings, death was the penalty awaiting us. Suddenly   Jesus appeared to take your place. He pleaded your case and remind both the judge and the accuser pointing to the cross and his blood that was shed to set us free.

Beloved, I want you to visualize this scenario with your spiritual eyes that instead of death? He gave you life having taken your place. He exchange your death with life eternal, if you will be willing and obedient.

I want you consider this word EXCHANGE further. I don’t know the circumstances you are in, how difficult and terrific the thoughts are but I want to know that that is an exchange Policy in placed for you. All you need do is to accept it and sign it off, and you are discharged and acquitted.

On that sick bed, as soon as sign off this exchange slip you are free to go. Are you depressed? Go, sign it off and your joy will be unlimited. Are you financial challenged? Go to the Master, He is ready to hand over the slip to you. Whatever be it, He is waiting to redeem you and make you whole again from the assaults the devil have plagued your life with. There is an exchange policy emplace for you.

Someone is asking, can I obtain more than one policy at a go. Yes! is the answer. As many as you want, the Lord is in position to grant it. Praise the Name of the Lord:

. . . and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.—Galatians 2:20

The Christian life is an exchanged life. Jesus’ life for your life. When Christ takes control, your life takes on dimensions you would never have known apart from Him. When you are weak, then Christ demonstrates His strength in your life (2 Cor. 12:9–10). When you face situations that are beyond your comprehension, you have only to ask, and the infinite wisdom of God is available to you (James 1:5).

When you are faced with humanly impossible situations, God does the impossible (Luke 18:27). When you encounter people whom you find difficult to love, God expresses His unconditional love through you (1 John 4:7). When you are at a loss as to what you should pray for someone, the Spirit will guide you in your prayer life (Rom. 8:16). When Christ takes up residence in the life of a believer, “all the fullness of God” is available to that person (Eph. 3:19).

It is marvelously freeing to know that God controls your life and knows what it can become. Rather than constantly worrying about what you will face, your great challenge is to continually release every area of your life to God’s control. The temptation will be to try to do by yourself what only God can do.

Our assignment is to “abide in the vine” and to allow God to do in and through us what only He can do (John 15:5). Only God can be God. Allow Him to live out His divine life through you. He is the only One who can.

If you have accepted the Lord as your Lord and personal Saviour read the next message to see what a life with the Shepherd is like but if you yet to receive Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, click here to do so now! Now that you have accepted Him, read on:

The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack.

He lets me lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside quiet waters.—Psalm 23:1–2

Living like a sheep can bring you incredible peace of mind! The biblical shepherd knew everything about his sheep. He understood what foods were best for them and what would harm them. He knew when they should eat and when they needed their thirst quenched. The shepherd was an expert of the terrain and was aware of the best places for food and water. As long as the sheep trusted and followed their shepherd, they would always have their needs met at the right time. Their shepherd would give them the best that he had.

Do you have absolute trust in your Good Shepherd? Do you value the nourishment that comes from Him more than any you might obtain from the world? Do you ever worry that God might be withholding from you something that you need? The Psalmist was convinced that he would “want” for nothing. By His very nature, the Good Shepherd cares for His sheep and would lay down His life for them (John 10:11).

Have you allowed your focus to shift from the Shepherd to what the Shepherd gives you? If you find yourself “wanting,” it is not that your Shepherd is unable or unwilling to perfectly meet your needs. It may be that you lack the faith to receive all that He has to give. Could it be that you have become dissatisfied with what your Shepherd has been providing?

Are you missing the joy that comes from having a Shepherd who cares for you? Return to Him and trust Him to meet the needs in your life that only He can.

Is this the place you are today? Go back to the Good Shepherd and you will be adequately taken care of.

Beloved, we have two in one packaged benefits this week end, an exchange policy and evergreen visa. Answerable to all needs and tenable at all points. My prayer for you is the optimal utilization of both in the Name of the Lord.

Have a restful weekend and enjoy God’s presence all through. Love you.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
