Beloveth, is another Name of prayer, may the Holy Spirit teach us something new today as we learn at His Feet, May He comfort us with the Word in Jesus Name, May He guide us into all truth in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall in Nehemiah day so that the enemies will not come in and attack them, today how are we fortifying our walls so that the enemies of our time will not invade our homes, cities , schools, churches , offices to attack us?

In our Bible text today, we see how the people build the walls and gate until they came back to the sheep gate which was their starting point. Vs1 –sheep gate, Vs 3- fish gate, Vs 6- old gate, Vs 13- valley gate, Vs 14- dung gate, Vs 15- fountain gate, Vs 26-water gate, Vs 28- horse gate, Vs 29- East gate then back to the sheep gate where it all started. Praise the Living Jesus!!!

How are you keeping the walls of your heart fortified against the attack of the enemies. When satan will came prowling, how are you defending your city gate? Beloveth do you still remember “watchman what of the night” (Isa. 21:11). Beloveth is not enough to watch over the city/ heart only in during the day, what about the night?

We saw the people of Israelite of old repairing their fallen walls and gates and fortifying it too, so also we are to build our walls and gates and fortify it unto with prayers, and watch unto it with prayers too. Praise the Lord somebody!!!!!!!!!!

May the good Lord help us and grant us grace that keep us on fire for the Him to rebuilding our fallen walls and gates and watch unto the same with prayers!!! Amen!!!

Come on for more:

“And they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.” Nehemiah 3:8

Cities well fortified have broad walls, and so had Jerusalem in her glory. The New Jerusalem must, in like manner, be surrounded and preserved by a broad wall of nonconformity to the world, and separation from its customs and spirit. The tendency of these days break down the holy barrier, and make the distinction between the church and the world merely nominal.

Professors are no longer strict and Puritanical, questionable literature is read on all hands, frivolous pastimes are currently indulged, and a general laxity threatens to deprive the Lord’s peculiar people of those sacred singularities which separate them from sinners.

It will be an ill day for the church and the world when the proposed amalgamation shall be complete, and the sons of God and the daughters of men shall be as one: then shall another deluge of wrath be ushered in.

Beloved reader, be it your aim in heart, in word, in dress, in action to maintain the broad wall, remembering that the friendship of this world is enmity against God.

The broad wall afforded a pleasant place of resort for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, from which they could command prospects of the surrounding country. This reminds us of the Lord’s exceeding broad commandments, in which we walk at liberty in communion with Jesus, overlooking the scenes of earth, and looking out towards the glories of heaven.

Separated from the world, and denying ourselves all ungodliness and fleshly lusts, we are nevertheless not in prison, nor restricted within narrow bounds; nay, we walk at liberty, because we keep His precepts.

Come, reader, this day walk with God in His statutes. As friend met friend upon the city wall, so meet thou thy God in the way of holy prayer and meditation. The bulwarks of salvation thou hast a right to traverse, for thou art a freeman of the royal burgh, a citizen of the metropolis of the universe.

Beloveth, we are call into the Lord army to ward off trespasses into the Holy city, we must uphold the teachings of the doctrines we received and live it out, not conforming to the world in words, in actions, or in deeds. May God help us to pray and receive sanctification through the power of the Holy Spirit to live holy and be separated unto the Lord alone in Jesus Name.

Father, we are nothing without Your help, without your election, we therefore pray that you uphold us and keep us from fallen into the evils of the day and surround all that concerning us with Your fire of protection. Build your walls of protection over all that are yours and may their edges never be broken so that the serpent will not bit in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, keep praying, don’t ever give up in the place of prayers and you will at the end receive your reward in Jesus Name…..

Remain blessed in the Lord.
