You will never share your glory with anybody, Almighty God, that is Your Name!

Our Father we thank You, we bless Your Name, we glorify your Holy Name. Blessed be thy Name forever and ever. Thank You for Your guidance and protection all through the week. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Father we praise You on high.

Beloved, how are you doing? Great I believe. Glory be to God! Are you a Caleb’s Caliber or ? Is our PCL topic for today. A quick review of the weekly ministration is pointing us Christ and away to unrighteousness. What is the condition of your heart? Is it receptive to the Word of God or otherwise?  Are looking inward to see who you truly are and plead with the good Master to save you and make you whole? Is God faithful in His promises to us? Do you have evidence to back up your testimonies?

Today, we need to find out who we are in Christ Jesus! Are we  representing God well in the places where He has place you or are you like the Ten others who came with scaring reports?

Is our PCL day, take out this weekend and consider who you are in God.

He is ever faithful to those trust in Him. He faileth not. We must make a decision to represent God well and like He gave a generational blessing to Caleb and Joshua, you will also be blessed.

He will use you are they were use. The good thing about God is that He remembers all therefore He will bless you.

Come along with as we discover more why we must depend on God always. Praise God:

Are You Caleb’s Caliber?

Recently I took several friends of mine to visit a 76 year old stalwart of the faith who has influenced scores of men and women for Christ around the world for over a half a century.

During our visit, I was arrested by the love of Christ that radiated from this rugged individual, as he graciously took a few minutes’ leave from the around-the-clock care of his dying wife… his life partner of over 50 years.

As we visited, one of my companions asked, “Bob, what are your aspirations in these latter years of your life, especially as you face the departure of your beloved wife?

Without hesitation he replied, “To take another mountain for God, as did Caleb.

You may recall the story of Caleb: After Israel’s trek across the desert from Egypt to Jordan, God commissioned Moses to send 12 spies into the Promised Land, only to have 10 return in fear, and disbelief. The two exceptions of course were Caleb and Joshua, who urged Moses to take the land. (Joshua 13:30)

Forty-five years later Israel had still failed to acquire portions of the land promised to them by God. Caleb, who by now was eighty years of age, rises to the challenge:

I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; Im just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day… ” (Joshua 14:10-12)

SO THE QUESTION IS: “Are you ‘CALEB’S CALIBER’ — like my friend Bob, who, in his old age, still chooses to believe God for new mountains to conquer?”

Or do you resemble the other 10 who shrank back in fear of the giants in the land?

But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him… ” (Hebrews 10:38) (Adapted from FOTM).

Beloved, God forbid that we shrink back from the mandate we have receive. Though the enemy will confront us but we also know that victory is ours in Jesus Name. we will not be afraid or be discourage with assaults of the Apollyou. Grid your loins with the Word and you will triumph over the works of darkness surrounding you.   Apostle Paul advise us to guide our conscience so that we will not make a ship wrecked of our faith. Praise God!

We must not rebuild the wall of sin that has been brought down else you inherit a curse. God forbid! Let get going:

“Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho.” Joshua 6:26

Since he was cursed who rebuilt Jericho, I much more the man who labours to restore heathen among us. In our fathers’ days the gigantic walls of heathen fell by the power of their faith, the perseverance of their efforts, and the blast of their gospel trumpets; and now there are some who would rebuild that accursed system upon its old foundation.

O Lord, be pleased to thwart their unrighteous endeavours, and pull down every stone which they build. It should be a serious business with us to be thoroughly purged of every error which may have a tendency to foster the spirit of heathen, and when we have made a clean sweep at home we should seek in every way to oppose its all too rapid spread abroad in the church and in the world.

This last can be done in secret by fervent prayer, and in public by decided testimony. We must warn with judicious boldness those who are inclined towards the errors of our fathers; we must instruct the young in gospel truth, and tell them of the black doings of heathen in the olden times. We must aid in spreading the light more thoroughly through the land, for priests, like owls, hate daylight.

Are we doing all we can for Jesus and the gospel? If not, our negligence plays into the hands of the priestcraft. What are we doing to spread the Bible, which is the heathen bane and poison? Are we casting abroad good, sound gospel writings? Luther once said, “The devil hates goose quills” and, doubtless, he has good reason, for ready writers, by the Holy Spirit’s blessing, have done his kingdom much damage.

If the thousands who will read this short word this today will do all they can to hinder the rebuilding of this accursed Jericho, the Lord’s glory shall speed among the sons of men. Reader, what can you do? What will you do?

A lesson to all. What are you doing to spread the goodnews? Which mountain are planning to take for the Lord? How are encouraging those who are doing same? How are ensuring that generations after you are well educated and positioned to take the gospel along with their profession as soon the literate rules the world. These and many other I will like you to ponder on these weekend and be blessed.

Beloved, we are light of the world, we are salt also, because our Lord Jesus is light. (Jn 8:12; Eph 5:8-14).

Have a wonderful weekend. See you next week by God’s grace. Onward we go. Like Caleb, our strength will not abate and we must another mountain even at old age. I claim these teaching in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
