I will lift up Jesus higher, I will lift up Jesus higher, O Jehovah Alpha Omega, I will lift up Jesus higher, O Jehovah Alpha Omega, I will lift up Jesus higher.// who is like unto Thee O Lord, who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, Glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders, alleluia.

Father in heaven O God thank You for a beautiful day You have made and said we should rejoice and be glad in it. Faithful Father, hallow be Thy Name. Most Gracious and Everlasting Father, thank You and thank You. You are the Lord that is Your Name, You will never share Your glory with anyone. Thank You for Your love that words cannot explain, glory be to Your Name alone.

Beloved, good morning. How are you doing? Hope great? Are you ready to encounter Jesus? Yes! to encounter Jesus through your praying and worship. Glory be to God on high. Arise and sleep not. Give your eye no sleep and pray to your Father who art in heaven. Praise God!

It feel good to know that there is someone who cares no matter how low you feel or how bad your situation is. When there is no shoulder to cry upon, it is good to know that Jesus is there rocking your shoulder and urging you to go on. Don’t feel bad; don’t feel downcast, don’t give up.

Have you been there dearly beloved? If you have then you will understand where I am coming. When you shed tears with no one to look into your eyes and speak encouraging words to you.

Have been hurt by a close friend, someone who ought y=to know but at the moment careless. Have your parents says that you will not make in life? Did your spouse abandon you and leave a handful for you to take care of? Do it look like everything is up and against you and that tiny voice in you is repeating to you that it is all over.

I have a good news for you. It will surprise you to know that you were not alone at those moments of struggling. Our Lord Jesus is there and your angels is keeping watch over you and do you care to know what happen to all the tears you shed at those moment.

Then you have to join and discover how it is preserve by the One Who is and Who is yet to come:

“Behold, he prayeth.” Acts 9:11

Prayers are instantly noticed in heaven. The moment Saul began to pray the Lord heard him. Here is comfort for the distressed but praying soul.

Oftentimes a poor broken-hearted one bends his knee, but can only utter his wailing in the language of sighs and tears; yet that groan has made all the harps of heaven thrill with music; that tear has been caught by God and treasured in the lachrymatory of heaven. “Thou puttest my tears into thy bottle,” implies that they are caught as they flow.

The suppliant, whose fears prevent his words, will be well understood by the Most High. He may only look up with misty eye; but “prayer is the falling of a tear.” Tears are the diamonds of heaven; sighs are a part of the music of Jehovah’s court, and are numbered with “the sublimest strains that reach the majesty on high.”

Think not that your prayer, however weak or trembling, will be unregarded. Jacob’s ladder is lofty, but our prayers shall lean upon the Angel of the covenant and so climb its starry rounds. Our God not only hears prayer but also loves to hear it. “He forgetteth not the cry of the humble.”

True, He regards not high looks and lofty words; He cares not for the pomp and pageantry of kings; He listens not to the swell of martial music; He regards not the triumph and pride of man; but wherever there is a heart big with sorrow, or a lip quivering with agony, or a deep groan, or a penitential sigh, the heart of Jehovah is open; He marks it down in the registry of His memory; He puts our prayers, like rose leaves, between the pages of His book of remembrance, and when the volume is opened at last, there shall be a precious fragrance springing up therefrom.

“Faith asks no signal from the skies,

To show that prayers accepted rise,

Our Priest is in His holy place,

And answers from the throne of grace.”

Wow! Beloved, that’s so smoothing to know that our very tears are gathered and stored up, makes up the heaven’s diamond. It is treasured in the lachrymatory of heaven. My soul is lifted this morning and am sure some is making same confession. Therefore if our tears are cut as it drops and our sigh are a part of the music of Jehovah’s court then let us pray and sleep not for at the right time Jehovah our God will sought it out. Amen!

Let’s get going:

“Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.” Luke 22:46

When is the Christian most liable to sleep? Is it not when his temporal circumstances are prosperous? Have you not found it so? When you had daily troubles to take to the throne of grace, were you not more wakeful than you are now? Easy roads make sleepy travellers.

Another dangerous time is when all goes pleasantly in spiritual matters. Christian went not to sleep when lions were in the way, or when he was wading through the river, or when fighting with Apollyon, but when he had climbed half way up the Hill Difficulty, and came to a delightful arbour, he sat down, and forthwith fell asleep, to his great sorrow and loss.

The enchanted ground is a place of balmy breezes, laden with fragrant odours and soft influences, all tending to lull pilgrims to sleep. Remember Bunyan’s description: “Then they came to an arbour, warm, and promising much refreshing to the weary pilgrims; for it was finely wrought above head, beautified with greens, and furnished with benches and settles. It had also in it a soft couch, where the weary might lean.”

“The arbour was called the Slothful’s Friend, and was made on purpose to allure, if it might be, some of the pilgrims to take up their rest there when weary.” Depend upon it, it is in easy places that men shut their eyes and wander into the dreamy land of forgetfulness.

Old Erskine wisely remarked, “I like a roaring devil better than a sleeping devil.” There is no temptation half so dangerous as not being tempted. The distressed soul does not sleep; it is after we enter into peaceful confidence and full assurance that we are in danger of slumbering. The disciples fell asleep after they had seen Jesus transfigured on the mountain top.

Take heed, joyous Christian, good frames are near neighbours to temptations: be as happy as you will, only be watchful.

Beloved, great warming to us as we receive our packages on greater glory, I pray we become not slothful but keep the fire glowing. For as long as the fire is up the wild beast will be far off. Let us pray and the coal burning and don’t let it become ashes. We must stay far away from temptations. May God help us in Jesus Name.

Keep the coal burning and the Lord will hear you continual in Jesus Name. Pray in the morning afternoon and night. No special time but always make heaven a resort.

Father answer us as we pray. Wipe away our tears and make our heart a place of melody in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
