Beloveth, good morning, how are doing today? our God is faithful, today again we are going to pray, in His faithfulness He will answer us and will not delay because prayer is the language of heaven, therefore when you speak it heaven hears and it will come running and fulfill His promise to you (Jer 33:3). Praise the Lord.

Today is the first Wednesday of this month and we are here to pray without doubting that which we ask for will surely come to past (Heb 11:6). The teaching before us today is simply encouraging to pray a faith based prayer backed up from the Word of God.

When we pray from the scripture heaven response immediately because God cannot deny Himself as the scriptures were divinely inspired written by man. Therefore, anytime we come before His throne presenting His Word back to Him, He answers us without delay. Though it also important to note that all promises are not meant for us, therefore we have to seek the Mind and the Will of God in that situation and pray it back to Him and your answer will come without delay. Praise the Lord!

When we are in desperate situation or in a confuse condition not knowing what to do, then we pick the written Word of God and speak back His Word to Him. In Gen 1:1-3, from this passage we discovered that in the beginning the earth was without form and until the Spirit of God brood on it, at that instant God started speaking what He want to be on earth.

Beloved likewise when come to the place of prayer, we offer songs of Praise to our God and invite the Spirit of God to come and take His place in our midst then you go ahead to speak what is on your mind according to the Word of God. Beloveth what you and I is doing at such a time is to put the challenge in perspectives where they belong while we lift our God higher far above it, Praise the Lord!

We must avoid vain repetitions as it does not move God, moreover the God we are serving is a Living God, is neither deaf or on tour. Using our bible reference for today, we learnt that immediately Saul prayed; God heard from heaven, this is meant to encourage us so that when we pray we have that faith that our prayers are being heard then don’t forget that God is the one who decide when and how to answer.

In Saul’s case, he sent Ananias to him immediately he started praying because that is what is required at that moment. another reference of answer prayer in the Bible is in 1 Sam 1:15 -18, when Eli accused Hannah of drinking wine, and she answered him, then Eli spoke to her that God Israel has answered her, she believed him and arose and found something to eat and her countenance was no more sad. She did not become pregnant for Samuel before she believed rather she believed what the man of God said and it later come to past, and after nine months she brought forth her baby.

In verse 19, it was recorded that Elkanah knew Hannanh his wife and God remembered her.

Beloveth, I don’t know what you have believed God for since the beginning of the year or before then but I know that when you trust in God without wavering it must surely come to past. God does not count time the way we do, but whatever He does it for a purpose and the purpose of which He is acting upon will never be late, Praise the Lord!

Are you ready to pray? What are those things you are trusting God for, arise, wipe away your tears, come before the throne of mercy there shall be a performance in Jesus Name!

Come on for more:

“Behold, he prayeth.” Acts 9:11

Prayers are instantly noticed in heaven. The moment Saul began to pray the Lord heard him. Here is comfort for the distressed but praying soul. Oftentimes a poor broken-hearted one bends his knee, but can only utter his wailing in the language of sighs and tears; yet that groan has made all the harps of heaven thrill with music; that tear has been caught by God and treasured in the lachrymatory of heaven. “Thou puttest my tears into thy bottle,” implies that they are caught as they flow.

The suppliant, whose fears prevent his words, will be well understood by the Most High. He may only look up with misty eye; but “prayer is the falling of a tear.” Tears are the diamonds of heaven; sighs are a part of the music of Jehovah’s court, and are numbered with “the sublimest strains that reach the majesty on high.”

Think not that your prayer, however weak or trembling, will be unregarded. Jacob’s ladder is lofty, but our prayers shall lean upon the Angel of the covenant and so climb its starry rounds. Our God not only hears prayer but also loves to hear it. “He forgetteth not the cry of the humble.”

True, He regards not high looks and lofty words; He cares not for the pomp and pageantry of kings; He listens not to the swell of martial music; He regards not the triumph and pride of man; but wherever there is a heart big with sorrow, or a lip quivering with agony, or a deep groan, or a penitential sigh.

The heart of Jehovah is open; He marks it down in the registry of His memory; He puts our prayers, like rose leaves, between the pages of His book of remembrance, and when the volume is opened at last, there shall be a precious fragrance springing up therefrom.

“Faith asks no signal from the skies,

To show that prayers accepted rise,

Our Priest is in His holy place,

And answers from the throne of grace.”

Beloveth, I want to believe that Saul prayed from understanding that the One he heard his voice was Christ so when Ananias came to Him, it was not difficult for him to baptize him (Acts 9:6, 11-12, 17-18).

Beloveth, as you today, pray from the point of understanding, believe that you will receive answer on what you are praying for. Stand firm on the Word of God and the Lord will go ahead and perfect all He has started in your life.

From our text for today, God did not stop his work half way in Saul life, He completed it (Acts 9:3-6, 10-16) and so shall He perfect yours in Jesus Name (Ps 138:8).

Beloveth let us pray Isa 12:1-6. Come before Him with thanksgiving in your mouth and Praise His Name forever and the rest will be testimonies in Jesus Name! You will surely testify in Jesus Name!

Father, hear your children as we call on, send help to us Father and may dwell water out of the wells of salvation.

Beloveth let us pray !!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
