Arise, my soul, arise; shake off thy guilty fears;

In the Name of Lord, the Name above all names, my soul will arise and check off the guilty fears for the bleeding sacrifice of Christ is pleading my cause. Truly on the throne my surety stands, to know that my name is written on His Hands gives me a confident the street of Walls will never have given me. Praise the Lord, dear reader!
Beloved, this another beautiful day to Worship the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Is some awesome to be in His presence and you can never remain the same, Never! As many as had an encounter with Him was never the same, Mary tarried a little longer at the tomb she encountered the Jesus and she became a great evangelist of her time. What she saw no one can dissuade her about the resurrection for she saw Christ in the body after His death.
Beloved, that is the power of meditation in the place of prayer. Prayer does not consists of only talking and shouting as some people think it to be. Often times, the Lord shows you deeper things of the Spirit when you are before him in deep meditation and contrition. He shows up and give you an insight you never would have imagined.
Let our prayer time be also our meditative time in things of the Spirit, you will come out assurable of Who is and what He can do.
Come along with me as we look into the book of liberty and mediate therein and pray to our Father, Who art in heaven.
Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction,
and he meditates on it day and night.—Psalm 1:2
Meditation means “to think deeply and continuously about something.” For a Christian, this means remaining in the presence of God and pondering each truth He reveals about Himself until it becomes real and personal in your life. This takes time. In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus accused certain would-be followers of calling Him “Lord” and yet never doing what He told them (Luke 6:46). They had the correct truth in their heads, but it had never translated into obedience. When you meditate on Scriptures, the truth moves from your head to your heart and results in obedience. As the Psalmist said: “Your word have I hidden in my heart, / That I might not sin against You” (Ps. 119:11).
When you know God’s Word in your mind but not in your heart, it means that you have learned the principles and concepts and doctrines of God, but you have not come to know Jesus personally. You can reject a doctrine, or ignore a concept, or challenge a principle, but it is much more difficult to ignore a Person. You can have Scripture in your mind and still sin against God. There are those who can recite long passages of Scripture and yet live ungodly lives.
However, you cannot have Scripture fill your heart and continue to sin against God. When God’s truth is allowed to touch the deepest corner of your soul, the Holy Spirit will transform you into the image of Jesus Christ. Don’t just read your Bible, meditate on God’s Word and ask Him to change your heart.
Beloved, do have an understanding of what the Spirit of God is saying this day, can your prayer be more of a conversation other than an instruction class. This can only be achieved when you speak to God and allow Him also to speak to you though the passage of His Word, then will the Word come alive.
This experience comes when we can put behind everything the world have to offer and be alone with God or better still have your thought resting on Him. Praise the Lord. Come along as we discover more about this wonderful experience:
“Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord.” Isaiah 2:3
It is exceedingly beneficial to our souls to mount above this present evil world to something nobler and better. The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches are apt to choke everything good within us, and we grow fretful, desponding, perhaps proud and carnal. It is well for us to cut down these thorns and briers, for heavenly seed sown among them is not likely to yield a harvest; and where shall we find a better sickle with which to cut them down than communion with God and the things of the kingdom?
In the valleys of Switzerland many of the inhabitants are deformed, and all wear a sickly appearance, for the atmosphere is charged with miasma, and is close and stagnant; but up yonder, on the mountain, you find a hardy race, who breathe the clear fresh air as it blows from the virgin snows of the Alpine summits.
It would be well if the dwellers in the valley could frequently leave their abodes among the marshes and the fever mists, and inhale the bracing element upon the hills. It is to such an exploit of climbing that I invite you this evening. May the Spirit of God assist us to leave the mists of fear and the fevers of anxiety, and all the ills which gather in this valley of earth, and to ascend the mountains of anticipated joy and blessedness.
May God the Holy Spirit cut the cords that keep us here below, and assist us to mount! We sit too often like chained eagles fastened to the rock, only that, unlike the eagle, we begin to love our chain, and would, perhaps, if it came really to the test, be loath to have it snapped.
May God now grant us grace, if we cannot escape from the chain as to our flesh, yet to do so as to our spirits; and leaving the body, like a servant, at the foot of the hill, may our soul, like Abraham, attain the top of the mountain, there to indulge in communion with the Most High.
Are you praying this day that you prayers will no longer be chatters before the ears of the Almighty God but a soft spoken words that smoothens the hearer ears.
A man of God recently said we fret about what the future holds because we have no understanding of Who God is. Beloved, everything about us has been orchestrated by God but you never Divine wisdom to walk in its fullness. When you are watching a repeated match, it is devoid of anxiety, why? Because the results are already known. You are only watching either to entertain yourself or to find out why your team lost.
That is how this life is to them that know their God. You come to Him knowing that He will not permit any evil against you. Even if the kingdom of darkness is raising against you they can never raise higher above Him for He is still in control of the affairs of everything created but then you need Him to guide you through His Word and the Spirit directing your affairs till the storms and siege is over. Praise the Name of the Lord.
So as we pray this day, let us know that we will encounter God in our prayers as we meditate on the His spoken Word in the book of life.
Remain blessed in the Lord.
Let us continue in our song as we sing of our Messiah triumphantly risen from the dead that saved our souls from death.
