Beloveth, how are doing today? Praise be to God that you made through again, our God is a good God. Praise the living Jesus! Hope you made it through in the night watch, if you do Praise God; if not still Praise God, but you are going to do something differently.
You are going to challenge yourself for the next seven days I will engage in night watch tell yourself that and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Beloveth once you start, you will not want to stop it is a delightful experience, only you and your Maker having a good time with less interference, Praise God. If you can start it watch out for the glory that follows, Praise the Lord somebody!!!!
Beloveth, our life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God, do you believe it? A lot is happening in our world today that might cause one to be afraid but not to worry, because Jesus has given us the assurance that He has overcome for us. Our topic today says “Christ, Who is our life”
Beloveth is Christ your life? Are you reflecting Jesus in your life style? Can someone see you and say categorically that you are a Christian or will it be a guess work? in verse 3 – we were told that our life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God.
What are you afraid of – sickness, poverty, sin, or death, beloveth our life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God. Christ is the source of our life. You need not be afraid because Jesus overcame all these on the Cross; He arose never to die again. He has the keys of death and of Hades (Rev 1:18), therefore we fear not what can satan do to us even beyond Jordan we will say like the Apostle Paul wrote “when this corruptible shall have put on immortality, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come pass the saying, where is Thy victory? O death, where is Thy sting?…. but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor. 15:53-57).
Beloveth, be bold in the victory Christ has won for you. Live a life of victory not of fear. Look for someone to tell someone beautiful about Jesus. Don’t give up in that your afflictions, don’t be angry at God, rather seek for His mercy and grace to help you and sooner than you think your life will turn around for good.”
Be determinate also like the Hebrew Boys who claim that “Our God is able to deliver us but even if He choose not to be it know to know thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”
Beloveth, those Hebrew boys saw Jesus before His time of manifestation here on earth. How do I know, come with us to verse 24 “…Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of fire? … Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt: and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God (Dan 3:24-25).
Beloveth, read through the king statement very carefully- they are not bound but loose, they are not hurt, and the fourth man is like the Son of God, how did he knew that the fourth is the Son of God.
God opened his eyes to see what his ordinary eyes could not see before then. Beloveth he caught the revelation about what heaven does for those that are afflicted. I don’t know what may be passing through brother/sister don’t lose hope, keep your eye unto Jesus. Make a bold declaration concerning it and stand on it.
Satan tormented me for twenty years over an issue in my life but I stood on the Word of God and today is a history, God intervened and gave me victory that He won on the Cross, today I am dancing in the Lord every day. Likewise the Lord has not forsaken you He will visit you and make you joyous even in that ugly situation in Jesus Name. Praise the Lord somebody!!!!
Jesus is our life, if you are encouraged let’s make more discovery:
“Christ, who is our life.” Colossians 3:4
Paul’s marvellously rich expression indicates, that Christ is the source of our life. “You hath He quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins.” That same voice which brought Lazarus out of the tomb raised us to newness of life. He is now the substance of our spiritual life. It is by His life that we live; He is in us, the hope of glory, the spring of our actions, the central thought which moves every other thought.
Christ is the sustenance of our life. What can the Christian feed upon but Jesus’ flesh and blood? “This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.” O wayworn pilgrims in this wilderness of sin, you never get a morsel to satisfy the hunger of your spirits, except ye find it in Him!
Christ is the solace of our life. All our true joys come from Him; and in times of trouble, His presence is our consolation. There is nothing worth living for but Him; and His lovingkindness is better than life!
Christ is the object of our life. As speeds the ship towards the port, so hastes the believer towards the haven of his Saviour’s bosom. As flies the arrow to its goal, so flies the Christian towards the perfecting of his fellowship with Christ Jesus. As the soldier fights for his captain, and is crowned in his captain’s victory, so the believer contends for Christ, and gets his triumph out of the triumphs of his Master. “For him to live is Christ.”
Christ is the exemplar of our life. Where there is the same life within, there will, there must be, to a great extent, the same developments without; and if we live in near fellowship with the Lord Jesus we shall grow like Him. We shall set Him before us as our Divine copy, and we shall seek to tread in His footsteps, until He shall become the crown of our life in glory.
Oh! how safe, how honoured, how happy is the Christian, since Christ is our life!
My life is hidden in Christ and Christ in God! What about yours dear beloved? Alleluia to our Father who art in heaven!!! Christ is everything as listed above to me, is that also your testimony?
