I have made You too small in my eyes, O Lord, forgive me; I have believed in a lie, That You were unable to help me. But now, O Lord, I see my wrong, Heal my heart and show Yourself strong; And in my eyes and with my song, O Lord, be magnified, O Lord, be magnified. Be magnified, O Lord, You are highly exalted; And there is nothing You can’t do, O Lord, my eyes are on You. Be magnified, O Lord, be magnified.//

Beloveth, good morning, how are doing today? Excellent is our God! Wonderful is His Name. Taste and see that the Lord is good and His mercies enduerth to all generations. Yes! His lovingkindness is forever more. Come and magnify the Lord with me.

Beloved, we are called to the vine yard of sustainability this month and of late discovery is that one of the essential ways of protecting and sustaining ourselves in the plan of salvation is by reading and studying the Word of God. It was a great revelation and I have to share it with you.

Do you want to maintain and grow in the new life you found in Jesus then read your Bible, make it your companion, let it be among the many apps you click on your phones and tab. Beloved it is the water that keep us green on the way. When you make the Word of God your partner, you will like that tree planted by the riverside. You will never suffer draught but will bear fruits at all season. Grace will be abound unto you unto every good works.

Beloved you will not be exposing to the attacks of devil and his agents. You will not be the weakness link in house of God to bring the house of God to disrupt. You will not be an instrument of unfruitfulness in God’s vineyard. You will be standing strong for the Lord come what may. You will be among the choose few for the Lord’s work.

Did you read my last statement? “You will be among the few chosen for His work as it was in Gideon days.” Beloved I want to know that God will never lack men to fulfill His eternal mandate rather you should be desiring to be among the few called to carry out the mandate.

Join and see what the Word of God said about “when you choose to be selfish with your salvation rather than selfless with it:

Judges 5:1-6:10, Psalm 55:9-14, Proverbs 12:25-26, Luke 20:41-21:19

“Clinging to His Creeks”

Asher remained at the seashore and stayed in his harbors.—Judges 5:17

One of the greatest mistakes we can make in life is to block the efforts of the Divine Eagle when He attempts to push us out of the nest of the accustomed into the world of the adventurous. Asher did this—the account in the Moffatt translation reads: “Asher sat still by the seaboard clinging to his creeks.” Although the metaphor is changed, the principle is still the same. There was Asher sitting by the seaboard, clinging to his creeks, when he could have launched out into the ocean and experienced the joy of a great adventure. In the face of the big, he settled for the little. They were “his” creeks and he wasn’t going to let the accustomed go to venture into the unaccustomed no matter how great the possibilities.

Asher is a type of the Christian who wants to stay by the safe and secure and finishes up by doing nothing and getting nowhere. I am not advocating spiritual recklessness, nor am I arguing for an unmindful approach to the Christian life; I am simply saying that we ought to be ocean-minded and not creek-minded Christians. The people who try to find inner security by clinging to the creeks are invariably unfulfilled, for we are inwardly made for growth and creativity.

A turtle doesn’t get anywhere until he sticks his neck out! To cling to our creeks for safety and security is to be upset at every call of the big. We are made for the big and are restless in our littleness. We cannot be content this side of God’s purpose.

Prayer

O Father, You are calling and I must come. I come from my littleness and watch it sink into the bigness of Your purpose for me. The great calls and I must come—at any price. Amen.

In what ways was David adventurous?

On what was his adventurous spirit based?

Did you see what Asher did he stayed at the seashore and did not lunch out even the opportunity abound for him to do so. Beloved, do you know the meaning of Asher? Leah called him joy, Asher means “blessing”. Asher was one of son’s of Jacob from Leah begotten by her maid Zilpah. His birth called for celebration (Gen 30 :13).

Hear what Moses the blessed him with in Deut 33:24-25 (KJV)  “24  And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. 25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.”

Beloved, what happened the descendant of this blessed son of Jacob? They did not heed to the instruction of the Lord through his servant Moses to drive away all the habitant of the land least they became a snare unto them. (Jdg 1;31-32).

Beloved, the called for sustainability partly depend on us as much as God has given His unfailing Word to us, we must partner with Him to bring it to past least we turn out to be Asher whose Name signify joy, blessings and was meant to deep his feet on oil in the place of pursuit or endeavours but still he preferred to cling to creeks order than launching out into the sea.

Remember we were told that one of such ways to uphold our salvation is daily reading and mediating on the Word of God. May God help us in Jesus Name.  We must be fruitful in the Lord’s vineyard. Amen! And we must cooperate with the Holy Spirit to uphold our salvation Amen!!!!!!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord
