Draw me nearer, nearer to Thee, draw me nearer, nearer to Thee. Draw me nearer my God, my Lord draw me nearer, nearer to Thee. My songs everyday, Father draw me nearer ooo, draw me nearer, nearer to Thee.//  Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Your Name is God, Emmanuel. Emmanuel, Emmanuel, Your Name is Lord, Emmanuel.

I will exalt You Lord for thou has lifted me above my enemies, Your banner over me is Lord. is that you confess unto the King of kings, the Ancient of Days, The Beginning and the End, The Immortal, Invisible, the Only Wise God. Great are His works in the midst of His people, His children who confidently place their trust in Him.

He will not let be move, He that guide over Israel neither sleep nor slumber. Our God is good to all that He has created. It is not His desire that any shall perish but that all will come to repentance.

He made us for His own pleasure and glory. Therefore He sent His Son to save all that will believe in Him and be save from everlasting damnation. Beloved, our Lord promise to us today in this faith clinic is of “Cover” and “Protection”.

Yes! of cover and protection. His Hand of protection shall rest upon us and deliver us from all evil. The enemy that lurk in dark places, those operate at noonday, those that occur before the day break, the Lord is promising cover and protection.

The Lord will keep watch over us, under His wings shall hide His children. The Lord is a strong tower and our refuge. Whom shall we fear if the Lord is with us of whom shall we be afraid of. He promise us safety, therefore we are safe. In place of darkness, we have light, for Jesus is the light of the world. In place of despair, He promise us hope, an everlasting hope that is in Christ Jesus His Son.

Beloved, are being trouble? The Lord has this to say, “Be still and know that I am God.” He will continual defend your and make your enemies your footstool. God will frustrate their enterprise and give you victory in place of defeat in Jesus Name.

God is saying to someone “Let not your heart be trouble.” Do not fear their fear.” My eyes watches over you to do you good.”

Do you know that Jesus promise us everlasting protection while engaging us on the great commission? Mk 16:17-18. This should bring so much comfort to someone reading this piece.

God cannot lie and there is turning of shadow in him. His gift is perfect. (Jas 1:17).

Beloveth, our God has the whole world in His Hand. Let us purge our self from all iniquities and be ready to be presented to our groom in His second appearing Praise God.

We must engage fully against the onslaught of Satan and be assured that Jesus has promised safety, safety we shall have. The great commission is a task every child of God must be fully engage in, do not slumber nor loiter on the way because the opposite forces are engaged full time.

There is part time schedule nor shift schedule with them. The Lord will ensure your safety, therefore fear not and do not be afraid of what the enemy will do.

As we keep on trusting and believing Him all His promises will be delivered to us. Let’s discover more:

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” Ps. 91:4

A condescending simile indeed! Just as a hen protects her brood and allows them to nestle under her wings, so will the Lord defend His people, and permit them to hide away in Him. Have we not seen the little chicks peeping out from under the mother’s feathers? Have we not heard their little cry of contented joy? In this way let us shelter ourselves in our God, and feel overflowing peace in knowing that He is guarding us.

While the Lord covers us we trust. It would be strange if we did not. How can we distrust when Jehovah Himself becomes house and home, refuge and rest to us?

This done, we go out to war in His name and enjoy the same guardian care. We need shield and buckler, and when we implicitly trust God, even as the chick trusts the hen, we find His truth arming us from head to foot. The Lord cannot lie; He must be faithful to His people; His promise must stand. This sure truth is all the shield we need. Behind it we defy the fiery darts of the enemy.

Come, my soul, hide under those great wings, lose thyself among those soft feathers! How happy thou art!

“Base things of the world hath God chosen.” 1Corinthians 1:28

Walk the streets by moonlight, if you dare, and you will see sinners then. Watch when the night is dark, and the wind is howling, and the picklock is grating in the door, and you will see sinners then. Go to yon jail, and walk through the wards, and mark the men with heavy over-hanging brows, men whom you would not like to meet at night, and there are sinners there.

Go to the Reformatories, and note those who have betrayed a rampant juvenile depravity, and you will see sinners there. Go across the seas to the place where a man will gnaw a bone upon which is reeking human flesh, and there is a sinner there. Go where you will, you need not ransack earth to find sinners, for they are common enough; you may find them in every lane and street of every city, and town, and village, and hamlet.

It is for such that Jesus died. If you will select me the grossest specimen of humanity, if he be but born of woman, I will have hope of him yet, because Jesus Christ is come to seek and to save sinners.

Electing love has selected some of the worst to be made the best. Pebbles of the brook grace turns into jewels for the crown-royal. Worthless dross He transforms into pure gold. Redeeming love has set apart many of the worst of mankind to be the reward of the Saviour’s passion. Effectual grace calls forth many of the vilest of the vile to sit at the table of mercy, and therefore let none despair.

Reader, by that love looking out of Jesus’ tearful eyes, by that love streaming from those bleeding wounds, by that faithful love, that strong love, that pure, disinterested, and abiding love; by the heart and by the bowels of the Saviour’s compassion, we conjure you turn not away as though it were nothing to you; but believe on Him and you shall be saved.

Trust your soul with Him and He will bring you to His Father’s right hand in glory everlasting. Let Mk 16:17-18 and Psalms 91 be your anchor scripture. Praise God!

Remain ever blessed in the Lord.
