Beloved, how has it been with you? Hope you are doing great? Someone is not too sure what to answer because of the happenings during the week.

I come with good news to you. Make this confession with along with me “I look up to the hill, where does my help comes from? My help comes from the Lord Who made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber. The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pasture: He leadeth me bestill the still waters. He resorteth my soul: He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His name sake.

That is the promise of God concerning you, so hold on to it, confess it meditate on it, believe it; Confess it and it will surely come to pass. The Word of God is infallible and it will not fail at your own time.

Wow! another PCL is here again and it promising to be an interesting one. All through the week we encountered the Lord in various dimension, the lost, the unsaved and the backslider had an opportunity to be saved. We were also encourage to do some good works through loving our beloved ones, friends and neighbors because in so doing you being an extension of God’s Hand and Feet someone who is praying to Him to intervene in his/her situation.

I love that aspect of being God’s Hand and Feet. I feel cool about bring sunshine into someone whose hope is dim if not gone. Why? During one of our evening devotion as a fall out of the topic we were studying I told my children to ask God to make them a ‘giver’ instead of asking God make them a ‘blessing’. I went further to tell them that the latter will naturally happen when you have receive the gift of giving from above. Secondly God will make you a blessing because He is confident that what He entrusted in your care will meet needs of others children of His. (Abraham a case in point). However, if you have a contrary opinion please let me know through this email address [email protected]

Yesterday, we meet with a lovely Jesus and we saw some attributes that makes Him indeed lovely. One of such we mentioned to be His sacrificial offering of self for the remission of our sin. Beloved, today our message is simple “despise not thy youth.”

Do you want to be part of this kingdom work then this message is a MUST read for you. Do you want win the lost and still do business in a godly way, then this is a piece you may have been waiting for.

So let’s get down to the business of the day and see how you get yourself into the spreading of the goodnews and still be true to your calling even in your business world. Let’s get going:

“Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak; for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.” Jer. 1:6, 7

Jeremiah was young and felt a natural shrinking when sent upon a great errand by the Lord; but He who sent him would not have him say, “I am a child.” What he was in himself must not be mentioned, but lost in the consideration that he was chosen to speak for God. He had not to think out and invent a message, nor to choose an audience: he was to speak what God commanded, and speak where God sent him, and this he would be enabled to do in strength not his own.

Is it not so with some young preacher, or teacher who may read these lines? God knows how young you are, and how slender are your knowledge and experience; but if He chooses to send you, it is not for you to shrink from the heavenly call. God will magnify Himself in your feebleness. If you were as old as Methuselah, how much would your years help you? If you were as wise as Solomon, you might be equally as willful as he. Keep you to your message and it will be your wisdom; follow your marching orders and they will be your discretion.

Who He sent He will equip. so don’t be timid, take a bold step. Start with a story, start with a question, and before you know it, you will be flowing with so much ease as the Holy Spirit will there to do His work. So don’t despise your youth because the Lord needs you.

We are going to examine someone who was tagged a business guru in his time, who ran his business with godly principles and was very rich. What we don’t know that patterning with God any time any day we give us an edge all the time not most time. So be determine to do it the God’s way anything you hand findeth to do. Let’s learn more from him:

Winning People And Running A Business

Solomon, an entrepreneur of epic proportions (Ecclesiastes 2) and a man concerned about spiritual matters, penned five poignant observations about sowing and reaping — Principles that apply equally to business and the winning of the lost:

  1. Get out there and sow the seed because in time you will reap the benefits of your efforts.

Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days.” (Ecclesiastes 11:1)

  1. Diversify your efforts on several fronts, as you do not know what misfortune lies ahead.

Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what mischance may occur on the earth.” (Ecclesiastes 11:2)

  1. Be forever at the sowing process as you do not know which of your efforts will pay off.

“Sow your seed in the morning, and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good.” (Ecclesiastes 11:6)

  1. Don’t wait for the perfect conditions before sowing or reaping as they may never exist.

He who watches the wind will not sow and he who looks at the clouds will not reap.” (Ecclesiastes 11:4)

  1. Understand that God is behind the scenes sovereignly (though perhaps mysteriously) superintending everything.

“Just as you do not know the path of the wind and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things.” (Ecclesiastes 11:5)

So what are we waiting for? Let’s get out there and win the lost and make business!

You heard that o out there and win the lost and make business.

We make business because we need resources to run the gospel and we should not bring reproach to God’s work too. But we must be careful not to soil our hands in the process.

Have a wonderful weekend. See you next week by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
