I want more of You, Jesus the more I want You, the more I want You, the more I want to know You, Jesus more of You. 2x// lift Jesus higher, lift Jesus, higher. He is the King of king Higher, the Lord of lords, lift Jesus higher.

Blessed Redeemer we thank You for watching over us Your children all through the week, we are grateful and we come to say thank You. Glorious God wonderful Saviour thank You and thank You for ever and ever in Jesus Name. We will forever lift up the Name of Jesus above ever other names in Jesus Name.

Eternal Rock of Ages, Ancient One thank You. We honour, we Praise and worship You, be glorify in Jesus Name.

Beloved, thank God is Friday. Hope you are basking in the euphoria of singing songs of praises to the King of kings, He is our Everlasting Father and heaven is delivering to you a daily glory.

Before we get down to today’s teaching we are going to have a quick overview of the week ministrations. We started with talking about “Wisdom”- we ended by saying that Jesus is the Wisdom and if you want to operate at this level, it means you must be born again then you have Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. We also discussed on “being part of something bigger” – under this we learnt that to accomplish God’s plan in life it might involve more than you. Is either you are starting or you meeting it at the middle point or you are the one to deliver the finish work as we can see in lives of Israelite- the promised was made to Abraham, Moses started the assignment and Joshua appeared on the scene to complete it. However which ever calling you have God will always equip you to accomplish same.

Beloved, our prayer day remembered us much about our Lord Jesus Christ – in whose Name every Name must bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord. We were also reminded of the need to pray as that is only way to reach heaven and while praying we must not pray in no other Name except in the Name of Jesus.

Yesterday was our faith clinic, it was quiet engaging as well, and it called to our remembrance the need to recognize God’s Hand in our life. Often times, our faith must be tried else we live a life of assumption and land in hell at the end. God uses trials to do the following- to remind us we are created by Him and must live our life depending on Him always. To perfect us unto the glorious day when Jesus our groom will appear and take us as His bride. The trials of our faith humbles and make us release that God orchestrates our paths in life so sometime we need to wait.

Beloved, it was a week that have taken me to my next level in my work and walk with God. How about you? I will like to hear your own side of the story, Praise God.

However, today’s PCL is awakening us to make soul-winner as one of our daily job. As you desires God’s blessings everyday likewise you must make soul-winning as part of your daily activity. Learn to tell someone that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour. Tell someone that Jesus loves him/her.  You must engage in “Operation Save the Perishing”

To this effect you need to imbibe some virtues that will help you. Satan your adversary will come fiercely after your decision and make life uncomfortable for you.

Beloved if a sinner is seating comfortable beside you, there is need for to check your born-again status. Is possible you are not living right or you are living a double standard live. Praise God.

I discover that sometimes I get attacked from people not because I did anything wrong to them but because they know that I will always stand on the truth and demand that we do the right thing all the time. Therefore they either avoid me or stay very far from me. But you what, I will deliberate by swallowing all those insult and eventually walk my way back to their heart and sooner they will stand up for Jesus.

I know the reason and I have to forfeit my right and be everything to everyone just to win them back to our Lord Jesus.

This and many more you will learning on this episode of our ministration all to the glory of God.

So join me as we take a look how to bring others to Christ and what we must do to be able to do so effectively:

 Discipling Others

If you aspire to disciple or mentor others, then ask God to build these qualities into your life:

  • WISDOM: The result of taking God seriously.

Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understandingThe mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks what is just.” (Proverbs 4:7; Psalm 37:30; See Proverbs 8:33-36; Deuteronomy 4:6)

  • COMPASSION: The ability to hear what another is attempting to put into words without judging.

As Gods chosen peopleclothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.

Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:12, 1; See Matthew 9:13; 1 Corinthians 16:14)

  • RESPECT: for others and their stories and their times.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:3, 4)

  • CONFIDENTIALITY: Not violating another’s secrecy.

A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.” (Proverbs 11:13)

  • SELF-DISCLOSURE: The willingness to share your life and journey when appropriate; a willingness to be honest.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16a; See Acts 19:18; Matthew 3:6)

  • A SCHOLAR: Continually reflecting on one’s own experiences and relationship with God; growing through study of the Scriptures and exposure to quality literature.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15; See Deuteronomy 6:4-7; Philippians 4:8)

  • DISCERNMENT: The ability to sense the movements of the spirit and heart.

The purposes of a mans heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding (literally: discernment) draws them out.” (Proverbs 20:5; See Proverbs 16:21).

I discover that the most effective way to bring others to Christ is by your personal testimonies and that why the devil will fight you to stand still so that you will not overcome that issue in your life and make you handicap in your walk with God.

But you have to take a decision not to be humble by what you cannot attain but persisting walk your way to the very heart of God.

You must surrender all to God by giving up your right just to live a worthy life,. Mother Teresa though from a wealthy family gave up her right to cozy life just to help the peasants to see Jesus.

We can also do the same. Be smart for the task of the kingdom is a work of “timeliness”. Let’s discover more:

“If Anyone Wants To Follow In My Footsteps, He Must Give Up All Rights To Himself”

Such as:

The right to revenge: “You have heard that it was said, Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth, But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” (Matthew 5:38, 39)

The right to dignity: “Do not resist an evil person, If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” (Matthew 5:39b)

The right to justice: “If someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.” (Matthew 5:40b)

The right to freedom: “If someone forces you to go a mile, go with him two miles.” (Matthew 5:41)

The right to control my resources: “Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from youDo not store up for yourselves treasures on earthBut store up for yourselves treasures in heavenFor where your treasure is there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 5:42; 6:19a, 20a, 21)

The right to hate my enemies: “You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you… ” (Matthew 5:43-44a)

The right to recognition: “Be careful not to do your acts of righteousness before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 6:1)

The right to bear a grudge: “If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14b, 15)

The right to judge others: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Matthew 7:1, 2)

The right to anything: “Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:33b)

Because, “The man who wants to save his life will lose it, but the man who loses it for my sake will save it.” (Luke 9:24 – Phillips Translation)

Am sure by now someone is screaming what is “happening here.”  My mouth is also wide open but that is our demand from God if want to be part of eternity.

Difficult, never mind, ask for grace to be abound and God will help you. he will surely give you glory and grace, and you will bound unto every good works (Ps 84:11; 2Cor 4:15; Rom 5:2; Eph 1:6; 2Tit 1:12; Heb 2:9; 2Pet 3:18).

Have a wonderful weekend, see you next week by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
