December 16

Excellent Jehovah, we are grateful for Your guidance and provisions throughout the past week, Father, we thank You for the week ahead. Glory be to You, Lord, You are indeed Our God and there is none to be compared with You. Blessed be Thou Name. What a wonderful God Thou are, let Your Name be exhorted forever. Amen!

Beloved, the year 2013 is gradually coming to an end and the Christmas season is just round the corner with lots of activities accompanying it. Many of our heart desire are yet to be fulfilled but in our message today, God is assuring us of victory, am glad about it what about you. Whatsoever be your challenge “He is able to do”.

It does not matter how many are the assails of the enemies; what is important is that victory is assured us by God, Who is Mighty in battle. He can subdue all nations (sin) that raises against us.

Keep the hope alive. Move on; for victory is head. Hang on there; God will meet you there. Keep trusting; keep praying, He is faithful, He will never fail you. Amen!

The Lord, Himself will destroy all your enemies and bring their schemes to nothing. As He fought in the time of old so will fight for you and I in Jesus name. Amen!

“Thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.” Joshua 17:18

It is a great encouragement to valor to be assured of victory, for then a man goes forth to war in confidence, and ventures where else he had been afraid to go. Our warfare is with evil within us and around us, and we ought to be persuaded that we are able to get the victory, and that we shall do so in the name of the Lord Jesus.

We are not riding for a fall, but to win; and win we shall. The grace of God in its Omnipotence is put forth for the overthrow of evil in every form: hence the certainty of triumph.

Certain of our sins find chariots of iron in our constitution, our former habits, our associations, and our occupations. Nevertheless we must overcome them. They are very strong, and in reference to them we are very weak; yet in the name of God we must master them, and we will.

If one sin has dominion of us we are not the Lord’s free men. A man who is held by Only one chain is still a captive. There is no going to Heaven with one sin ruling within us, for of the saints it is said, “Sin shall not have dominion over you.” Up, then, and slay every Canaanite, and break to shivers every chariot of iron! The Lord of hosts is with us, and who shall resist His sin-destroying power? Nobody can!

We hereby encourage you to grow in the Lord, ask for His grace to abound in every good work. Ask God to enlarge your tent and He will surely do:

“Enlarge the site of your tent, and let your tent curtains be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes, and drive your pegs deep.”—Isaiah 54:2

When God comes to a life in power, it is always a time of rejoicing and expectation for the future! Isaiah described this experience as similar to that of a child born to a previously barren woman. The child’s arrival changes everything! Life cannot continue as usual! Whereas the dwelling place might have been large enough for two, it must now be made bigger. The child’s presence causes the parents to completely rearrange the way they were living.

Isaiah proclaimed that when God comes, you must make room for Him in your life. You must “enlarge the place of your tent” because God’s presence will add new dimensions to your life, your family, and your church. You do not simply “add Christ on” to your busy life and carry on with business as usual. When Christ is your Lord, everything changes. Whereas before you may not have expected good things to come through you or in your life, now you should have a spirit of optimism. You ought to expect your life to become richer and fuller. You can anticipate God blessing others through your life. You can look for God to demonstrate His power through your life in increasing measure.

As a Christian, how do you make room for Christ in your life? You repent of your sin. You allow Christ the freedom to do what He wants in you. You watch eagerly for His activity in your life and in your family and in your church. You live your life with the expectancy that Christ will fill you with His power in the days to come and will “stretch” you to do things in His service that you have never done before.

When God subdue your enemies (sins) and meet your expectations; He will also enlarge your coast both in service and life and you will praise Him ceaselessly. May your week be blessed beyond your imaginations in Jesus Name. Amen.

Beloved, do you know the reason for the season?  Write to us as we appreciate you greatly as you do so.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
