I will call upon the Lord (I will call upon the Lord), Who is worthy to be Praise (Who is worthy to be Praise) the  Lord reigneth blessed be Thy Lord, honour to the Lord let the Rock of my salvation be exalted 2x.// who is like unto Thee O! Lord! Who is like unto Thee, O Lord! among the gods who is like Thee You are glorious in holiness fearful in Praising doing wonders alleluia, doing wonders alleluia!

Father, we thank You, we blessed Your Holy Name, we adore You King of glory, we Praise and glorify Your Holy Name. we adore You for Who You are. Arise O! God and come in Your glory, receive our Praise, let the Praise Your Holy Name Alleluia Amen!

Beloved, join me to sing this song to the Most High God “what shall I render to Jehovah for He has done so very much for me, what shall I render to Jehovah, for He has done so very much for me, naara, naara ooo nara otito, nara o otito anyi. Naara nara ooo nara ekene, nara ekene anyi ooo.

Thank God for another privilege to be God’s presence, glorious God, Wonderful God, Excellent God blessed be Thy Name on high. Who is like unto our God? Our God is good; all the time. How has been in the place of “worship”? Have you been praising God in spite of those things that are beyond you? Beloved, you can never be tried of praising God because that is very source of life. We have few days ahead to place worship ahead of any other thing we do, make sure you have a testimony(ies) deliver to you as a result of being unashamedly for the Lord. Praise the Lord.

We are glad to welcome you into a new week of grace, has the Lord been good to you? You can move and talk, it is worth of praising God? Don’t wait until you lose your voice to appreciate the gift of talking or singing. I am sure it will never be easy to talk with signs, so keep Praising God for that ability. Praise the Lord beloved, don’t waste any further time, shout and honour the Lord with what you have and the Lord will shower upon you again more blessings.

We have discussed much about the deer this year and am sure you are griping one thing from the life of a deer. Deer is gifted with speed and unusual strength, is not easily giving up, the psalmist in his description of “Deer” going up the mountain observed that the front feet must be well place and hold on firmly for the rear feet to be secure so to avoid a fall that might even lead to death.

So we are expected to hold on to God not minding what is happening around us. Beloved, are we pretending to be holding on to God while our mind and hope is on something else? Are we calling God with our lips while our heart is far from Him? We cannot hide it from God? God knows every motive of our heart therefore we cannot pretend before Him. God said “ And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deut 6:5 KJV.

Are you doing just that? Loving the Lord with all heart, soul and might or put in another way with all your strength, this means that God will be your focal point. We must not be distracted; we must not be frustrated or discouraged in following God no matter what the devil is doing to get us side-tracked from following Him faithfully.

Beloved, we must stand for Jesus no matter what may be, we must not be ashamed, afraid, bitter, or unloving as we are God’s ambassador and therefore we must represent Jesus all the way.

Come, let us discover more:

1 Samuel 15:1-16:23, Psalm 64:7-10, Proverbs 14:8-9, John 5:24-47

Easier to Pretend

You are not willing to come to Me so that you may have life.—John 5:40

In Psalm 42:1, the psalmist states, “As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for You, God.” Why do most Christians not long for God in this way? Because to long for God means we must get in touch with the deep thirst that is at the center of our being and acknowledge our basic helplessness—a feeling which our fallen human nature deeply dislikes.

Most of us instinctively draw back from dealing with this stubborn commitment to independence, pretending we are all right as we are. It is much easier to pretend we are thirsting after God than it is to face the challenge of giving up our commitment to independence.

I am conscious that the challenge I am putting before you is one I want to deny in my own life. There is something in me that would like to think—and would like you to think—that I have a heart that thirsts for God. But I know that if I stop short of identifying my independent strategies for finding life on my own and giving them up, I will never get in touch with the deep thirst for God that exists at the core of my being.

What is the answer? I must ask God to search my heart, expose my self-centered motivations, and help me see just where it is that I stop short of panting after Him.

You see, the more deeply we sense our thirst, the more passionately we will pursue water. But we will never sense that thirst until we are willing to face the fact that we may be drinking more from our own self-constructed wells than from the wells of God.

Prayer

Father, I tremble as I recognize this tendency within me to walk right past the fountain of living water and drink from a well of my own making. But help me to recognize it for what it really is—not just a terrible tendency, but a terrible sin. Amen.

Further Study

Ex 32:1-9; Isa 28:12; 30:15; 2Ch 24:19

How did God describe the children of Israel?

What is said of them time and time again?

Beloved, are you thirsting or panting after God as the deer does pant after water?  If you are, you will never be tried of giving, going and standing for God. Let us flee from all manner of pretence and fix our eyes on Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. Praise the Lord!

On this note we declare this week open and we will go in the Name of the Lord and return with greater  testimonies  at the end of the week in Jesus Name.

Don’t forget to Praise /worship it keeps the heavens door ever open.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
