When I see the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for me, my very soul shall shout alleluia, praise God for saving me.// You are the Lord, let Thy Name be glorified. You are the Lord let Thy Name be glorified, we give You glory and honour, You are the Lord, let Your Name be glorified.

Our Father in heaven O God, You are the Lord, let Your Name be glorified, we give You glory, we give You adoration, we give honour, receive our thanks and Praise now and forever. Thank You for Your faithfulness, thank You for being God indeed unto us, thank You for remaining strong on our behalf. Thank You for holding us when our stand is not firm enough. Glory be to Your Name alone in Jesus Name.

Beloved, we ought to always thank God in every facet of our life most especially with His blessings in mind. I was reading a book this morning and the author made an emphatically statement on “giving thanks” and I  saw myself in the picture he was painting and I was glad that God has enabled me to be practicing same.

He said that we should be “detailing” when expressing our thanks to God. Do it enthusiastically by looking around you searching for the many gifts God has upon you. I think someone will bear a witness to this even in our daily write up. Praise the Lord.

What do you understand by that statement? It means that every time you want to thank God for His blessings, you should always do that with every in you and among other things will enhance your ability to grasp how blessed you are.

So always ensure that you are thanking God for every detail you received from Him, for nothing is possible outside Him.

Beloved when you thank God from the deep of your heart, there is every assurance that you will encounter God. God Himself inhabits the Praise of His people and God can never come visiting and leave you the same way. There is always a blessing in every encounter with God either as an answered to prayer or as a mission to accomplish for Him.

So either way, our encountering with God will always leave us with something great.

In our text for the day we saw how Jesus encountered Paul. We all know the story of Paul and His conversion. In the zeal for the Lord Paul then called Saul was killing the converts of our Lord Jesus. He thought he was doing same for the Lord but when Jesus encountered him, his mission and perspective changed.

In addition to our experiences when we encounter God, we also will be discussing “Timing” as one tool that God has in His disposal as a Sovereign God. Beloved, if only we will come to grasp this aspect of God, we will have less stress in dealing with the issues of life.

This then call to mind the aspect of faith in our Christian walk. And that is why God told us in Heb 11:6- “that is impossible to walk with God without faith.” But we will not go into details in these teaching since is outside our scope for now, it will be more appropriate on our faith clinic day, so keep a date with the Holy Spirit.

Let us discovery more connecting yesterday teaching on “how are you going on with God’s work?” it helped a great deal and am sure someone was also blessed, so let’s keep going:

But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of things you have seen, and of things in which I will appear to you.—Acts 26:16

God was working in your life long before you began working with Him. The Lord knew you before time began, and He knew what He wanted to do with your life (Jer. 1:5; Ps. 139:13). Before the apostle Paul’s conversion experience on the road to Damascus, Jesus already knew Paul and had a specific assignment for him. But Jesus only revealed this assignment after Paul’s conversion (Acts 9:15).

So misguided was Paul that in his sincere efforts to serve God, he had actually been waging war against Christians! Although God knew what He wanted for Paul, He waited to reveal it to him until He gained his attention and became his Lord.

Our Lord does not come to us to discover what we would like to accomplish for Him. He encounters us in order to reveal His activity and invite us to become involved in His work. An encounter with God requires us to adjust ourselves to the activity of God that has been revealed.

God never communicates with us merely to give us a warm devotional thought for that day. He never speaks to us simply to increase our biblical knowledge. Our Lord has far more significant things to reveal to us than that! When God shows us what He is doing, He invites us to join Him in the work He is doing.

Are you prepared to meet God today? Don’t seek to hear from God unless you are ready to ask, as Paul did, “What shall I do Lord?”

Did you hear that are like Paul asking God “What shall I do Lord?” good, let us discuss this important topic on ‘Timing” how is it with you in the area of timing. I have a problem with it and so many others also so let seek help from the Holy Spirit who will help us. Let’s get going:

Timing

TIMING: A critical factor in business.

Success often depends upon sensing the moment and moving with the market. Failure to provide the right product or service at the right TIME can spell disaster.

God also has a perfect TIMEtable. And we can easily miss it by:

Rushing ahead of Him — Often out of impatience, presumption or impetuousness.

He who makes haste with his feet errs.” (Proverbs 19:2b)

Or by:

Lagging behind Him — Often out of fear of failure or perfectionist tendencies.

Because God has a perfect TIMEtable, “He has made everything beautiful in its TIME.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

For example: Upon learning of Lazarus’ illness, Jesus delayed traveling to visit him by two days to await his death. Upon His arrival, Christ found Lazarus entombed and proceeded to raise him to life. (See John 11:1-42)

God’s perfect TIMING!

QUESTION: Do you have challenging decisions on your hands? Then follow the Psalmist’s counsel on tapping into God’s TIMING:

(1) “Rest in the Lord

(2) Wait patiently for Him

     (3) Keep to His way… “

He then promises to “exalt you to inherit the land! (Psalm 37:5, 7, 34, 37)

May I suggest two additional considerations in determining God’s TIMING:

  1. Inner Peace: “And let the peace of Christ RULE in your heart… ” (Colossians 3:15a) If you lack inner peace, the TIME to act is not now.

  1. Your wife’s consensus: God has endowed our spouses with a ton of common sense, and an intuitive capability that far surpasses that of most men. A man therefore, is a FOOL if he chooses to ignore his wife’s advice as it relates to TIMING.

Because TIMING is so essential for success, God invites us to walk with Him in the living out of our lives. After all, “He has made everything beautiful in its TIME.

Yes! God will help us to always know His perfect Timing for everything He want us to do. beloved, this is very critical  for us even as we have been invited to advance in our quest, let us also inquire from God the areas to do so, so that will not rush ahead of Him or lag behind Him. Praise the Name of the Lord.

Beloved, let our encountering God this moment be a blessing to and help us to work in His perfect timing in Jesus Name.

Remain ever bless in the Lord.
