Beloveth, we are going to have a special session today, it is one of the cardinals of this ministry – “we are here to encourage you.” if we are very truthful to ourselves, you will agree with me that this is not common in our generations today, people are poise to outdo each other just very few are there to encourage the other. So it becomes very difficult to more on when we get to cross-roads in life.

But by the grace upon this ministry we are sent to encourage you and by the special grace of God we will not lose sight of this, the Holy Spirit, Who is our senior partner will continue to help us to as many as He want to save through this ministry.

Beloved, the life we are living is full of battles and wars, but that was not the original intent of God from the beginning, sin came into the world through our first parents and ever since then we lost our dominion and the battle has been raging but as the kingdom of God suffereth violence and only the violent can take it by force. Are you ready to take your salvation and victory by force?

Jesus said to the women with issue of blood “daughter, be of good cheer, (take heart) (comfort) your faith has made you whole” He said to the Syrophenician woman “For this saying go Thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.” He also said to that woman who has been afflicted by satan for eighteen year “ Woman, Thou art loosed from Thou infirmity” ( Matt 9:22, Mk 7:29, Lk 13:)

Beloved, Jesus went about doing good and encouraging men and women of his time. He is still doing the same today through you therefore we  encourage you to encourage someone who is been going through trials of life, whose hope lies in God and what Him alone can do.

We here to declare war upon that condition and beloveth after now you will see it no more. The story we recounted above was settled forever, there was repetition, Jesus set them forever and they were made whole and they walked in that liberate for ever (Gal 5:1).

Likewise we are here also to declare you free from all your infirmities, “Go, your faith has made you whole,” and so shall it be in Jesus Name.

Let us discover more:

“Encourage him.” Deuteronomy 1:38

God employs His people to encourage one another. He did not say to an angel, “Gabriel, my servant Joshua is about to lead my people into Canaan—go, encourage him.” God never works needless miracles; if His purposes can be accomplished by ordinary means, He will not use miraculous agency.

Gabriel would not have been half so well fitted for the work as Moses. A brother’s sympathy is more precious than an angel’s embassy. The angel, swift of wing, had better known the Master’s bidding than the people’s temper. An angel had never experienced the hardness of the road, nor seen the fiery serpents, nor had he led the stiff-necked multitude in the wilderness as Moses had done.

We should be glad that God usually works for man by man. It forms a bond of brotherhood, and being mutually dependent on one another, we are fused more completely into one family. Brethren, take the text as God’s message to you. Labour to help others, and especially strive to encourage them.

Talk cheerily to the young and anxious enquirer, lovingly try to remove stumbling blocks out of his way. When you find a spark of grace in the heart, kneel down and blow it into a flame. Leave the young believer to discover the roughness of the road by degrees, but tell him of the strength which dwells in God, of the sureness of the promise, and of the charms of communion with Christ.

Aim to comfort the sorrowful, and to animate the desponding. Speak a word in season to him that is weary, and encourage those who are fearful to go on their way with gladness. God encourages you by His promises; Christ encourages you as He points to the heaven He has won for you, and the spirit encourages you as He works in you to will and to do of His own will and pleasure.

Imitate divine wisdom, and encourage others, according to the word (teaching) of this day.

Beloved, did you read that “God never works needless miracles; if His purposes can be accomplished by ordinary means, He will not use miraculous agency.

He sent Moses to Joshua, He sent each of the disciples to help Jesus ministry, He send Barnabas to Paul, He sent Mary to Elizabeth, Paul to Timothy (Deut 1:38, Matt 4:18, Acts 9:26-27, Lk 1:39-56, 1Tim 1:2-4, 18-19).

Beloveth who is the Lord sending you to encourage? Many left this responsibility because they don’t want to part with their resource but they also forget that God is looking for a source through which He will pour out His resources from above to serve Him here on earth.

Beloveth, look around you and encourage someone by listening hear, by words of comfort, by joining praying, by kindness and cash, and the God Lord will bless you also.

Don’t forget that there is a reward at the end (Matt 25:23, 34- 40, 1 Cor 15:58).

Beloveth, there is a song I want us sing, it use in my local church last Sunday and it encouraged me and I think it will do exactly same to you, so join me as we sing it together:

Jesus Is Not A Disappointment

He is not a disappointed!

Jesus is far more to me

Than in all my glowing daydreams

I had fancied He could be:

And the more I get to know Him,

So the more I find Him true,

And the more I long that others

Should be led to know Him too.

Refrain

He is not a disappointment!

He is All-in-All to me,

Savoiur, Sanctifier, Keeper,

Now and thro’ eternity.

He is not a disappointment!

He has saved my soul from sin;

All the guilt and all the anguish

Which oppressed my heart within,

He has banished by His Presence,

And His blessed Kiss of peace

Has assured my heart forever

That His love will never cease. (Refrain)

He is not a disappointment!

He is all in all to me,

Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer:

He has won my hearts affections,

And He meets my every need;

He is not a disappointment,

For He satisfies indeed. (Refrain)

I believe you enjoyed this session of our PCL and you are blessed. Indeed Jesus has never been a disappointment; He will not start now! Praise the Lord! Put your anchor on Him, look steady on Him and finally lay it at His feet, never to pick it up again, never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for He will show you a way out of situation. He will show you what to do; He did to me, He will also do same to you.

Celebrate Jesus in your life right now; live in the Spirit (Gal 5:16),

Have a fun filled weekend, go fishing; go encouraging!!!! See you on Monday if Jesus tarries in Jesus Name!

Remain blessed in the Lord
