Beloveth, today is prayer meeting… ever ready to pray? Men ought to pray always… and faint not -Master Jesus. so are you excited once prayer is mention…. Do you know that flesh must be put under subjection of the Holy Spirit else it will not do the will of God… yes as simple as may sounds to you… the flesh control the Spirit… but it ought to be so…
Your spirit-man ought control your flesh…. However, the spirit that is fervent in the place of prayer will always subdue the flesh…. Take for instance using myself as an example …. Do you know when I am tried from the days jobs and activities if I want to pray it might very difficult then I will decide to sleep for some hours and wake up in order to pray very will …. Do you know that sometimes my flesh will want me to rest more … you still need some rest…. But my Spirit-man want to be fed so here come the tussle… then it takes discipline to put the flesh to be subjective to my spirit-man…. initially it wasn’t it easy at all but now the flesh knows better …. That it only does what my spirit-man wants…
My prayer for you is to get to that point where your flesh will be subjected to your spirit-man… amen!!!
The topic before us says it all like what we are discussing above … you cannot serve God except you are discipline… and that discipline starts from your inner-man… your spirit-man…
Look into the Bible and read about every man that did great things for God… they are willing to say Yes! Go! And Serve…. These are three common characteristic you will see… from Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Elijah, Elisha, Samuel, Nehemiah, Ezra, the list is endless… in the new testament we saw Jesus teaching his following to understand what is important in services… they get easily discourage and weary… but we saw Jesus wakes up in the ,morning to pray… in some cases He prayed till morning…
Beloveth… our Lord Jesus knew that flesh is a hindrance to walk in the Spirit so He put His flesh under subjection and kept teaching His disciple to learn from Him… (Jn.4:4-8)Praise the Lord.
Jesus did His work not minding that His flesh needs bread… so we are to keep on disciplining our flesh/body in serving the Lord… Praise the Name of the Lord somebody!!!
Ever Feel Like The Discipline Of God In Your Life Is Too Demanding?
Following is a poem that has been extremely helpful to me during difficult times of discipline by our heavenly Father:

“For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it… in conformity to God‘s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God.” (Hebrews 12:11 – Amplified)
Beloveth… God discipline only shows that we His children not bastards… Heb.12:5-10… So let us pray that God will give us this understanding in our walk with Him… Pray that God will manifest Himself to us and make it easy for us to obey Him in the ministry He placed in our hands…
We should therefore endue the discipline God brings our way as make us stronger for the things ahead in our lives ….
O! God make us obedient to your Word and work in Jesus Name…. Make us to walk in your steps in Jesus Name….
