Our Father in heave we we worship You, Jesus, Son of the Most High, we adore You, Holy Spirit we welcome You into our heart, our home, our ministry, our career, come and take Your place in midst today in Jesus Name!

Be Thou exalted! Exalted! Exalted Emmanuel! Be Thou exalted! Exalted! Exalted Emmanuel!

Yes! we will exalt our Father forever more, glory be to your Holy Name both now and forever and ever in Jesus Name!

Beloveth, good morning! How are doing today, hope you are good? Is gonna be another day and wonderful time in God’s Presence and we will experience joy unspeakable in Jesus Name! Amen!!!!

Yes by the grace of God we saw the reward of willing suffering for the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus says “it is for awhile after which He will perfect you, establish, strengthen and settle you.

Other versions of the Bible have this to say-….”…He will restore, support, and strengthen you and He will place you on a firm foundation.” (NLT2)  “… Will restore you, strengthen you, make you strong, and support you as you suffer for a little while” (GW).

In considering today topic “Called to be Saints,” we will like you to open your Bible to 1 Pet. 5:1-11; the Apostle was addressing both the Elders and the Young people together. So if you are not an elder today, you are among the young people and we are all called to this class of “Saintship” Amen!!!

Though in this journey, there are obstacles on our ways tagged “suffering for a while,” that will qualify you and I to be partakers of heaven abode, Yes heaven! We learnt that “God showed us kindness by calling us to the eternal glory by Christ Jesus that after we have suffered awhile, He will make you perfect, stablish, and strengthen, settle you (1 Pet 5:10).

A called to be saints is not on a platter of gold, is through spiritual growth which your spirit will pass through before it is perfected, stablish, strengthen and settle you.

Being addressed as “Fellow Citizen” is also an indication that we run a different government, different economy and a different life style. So to qualify for all these listed out above you must accept our Lord Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, (Click here to accept Jesus now if you are yet to do so). You must not be afraid but be bolden because you know or you are confident that your Father will not fail you but will always come to meet your needs.

And again being address as saints’ means that your life style will not just be different but exemplary to others. They must take note of you. If those who you are interacting with cannot testify or see you different from them then you have not started the race.

Beloveth, if an unbeliever comes around you and feel free, feel at home then something is wrong with your Christianity. You are yet to be a true representative of our Lord Jesus, an “Ambassador” for Christ.

Having these at the back of your mind dearly beloved, you are therefore encouraged to run with patient the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the Shame, and is set down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God. For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds (Heb. 12:1-14).

Come along for more:

“Fellow citizens with the saints.” Ephesians 2:19

What is meant by our being citizens in heaven? It means that we are under heaven’s government. Christ the king of heaven reigns in our hearts; our daily prayer is, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The proclamations issued from the throne of glory are freely received by us: the decrees of the Great King we cheerfully obey.

Then as citizens of the New Jerusalem, we share heaven’s honours. The glory which belongs to beatified saints belongs to us, for we are already sons of God, already princes of the blood imperial; already we wear the spotless robe of Jesus’ righteousness; already we have angels for our servitors, saints for our companions, Christ for our Brother, God for our Father, and a crown of immortality for our reward. We share the honours of citizenship, for we have come to the general assembly and Church of the first-born whose names are written in heaven.

As citizens, we have common rights to all the property of heaven. Ours are its gates of pearl and walls of chrysolite; ours the azure light of the city that needs no candle nor light of the sun; ours the river of the water of life, and the twelve manner of fruits which grow on the trees planted on the banks thereof; there is nought in heaven that belongeth not to us. “Things present, or things to come,” all are ours.

Also as citizens of heaven we enjoy its delights. Do they there rejoice over sinners that repent—prodigals that have returned? So do we. Do they chant the glories of triumphant grace? We do the same. Do they cast their crowns at Jesus’ feet? Such honours as we have we cast there too. Are they charmed with His smile? It is not less sweet to us who dwell below. Do they look forward, waiting for His second advent? We also look and long for His appearing.

If, then, we are thus citizens of heaven, let our walk and actions be consistent with our high dignity

Therefore brethren walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh (live your life as your Spirit nature directs you) (Gal 5:16-26).

When you live in the Spirit you will not grieve the Spirit of God (don’t give God’s Holy Spirit any reason to be upset with you) Eph 4:30-31.

May God help us to fulfill this mandate in Jesus Name. We shall run the race and finish strong and win the crown of life. (Rev 2:10, 3:21).

Read Heb. 2:1-end. Brethren be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
