Praise the Name of the Lord… Thank God for the gift of another day in the land of the living… We are grateful O Lord… We do not take it for granted… Truly the Lord is Good… and His mercy enduerth forever… Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
Is moving… Yesterday we started with a great topic which says… “The Real World of Business…” and to me is mind blowing having gone through the teaching … it re-emphasis the facts that though it may be tough out there… but we must stand only on what the Bible recommended for us to live out… We must relate with people (whether is business or other relationships) standing only on what is in line with the Word of God…
We must not compromise our standards, to please men or negate who we are because of world pleasures and riches… Alleluia!!!!
Today beloveth… we will be starting by asking this question….Are you a child of God? Are you born again…Spirit-filled Christian? Who you are determines the way you live… If you are a child of God and the Spirit of God bears the witness in your spirit, then you are truly a child of God but if other wise…. So sorry… then you need to pray and ask the Spirit of God to help you to return back to Christ… if you have back-siding… or get born again if you are yet to come to Christ…
However, if you are already in relationship with Christ then today message is for you… you can still follow us if you are yet to get serious in your walk with Christ… to see what is in stock for you when you come to Christ…. Alleluia somebody…
Five Questions To A Serious Follower Of Christ
As a serious follower of Christ, here are five questions you may want to ask yourself:
- Have I forsaken that which is dearest to me to follow Him — regardless of the cost?
“Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:33b)
- Do my priorities, intentions, and inner attitudes reflect a settled resolve to become like Jesus?
“All the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant – dog dung. I‘ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by Him.” (Philippians 3:7, 8 – The Message)
- Am I choosing to forfeit things normally sought out by the masses in order to follow Him?
“What is highly valued among men is detestable in God‘s sight… [Therefore,] enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Luke 16:15b, Matthew 7:13, 14))
- Am I systematically and progressively rearranging my affairs to get His training? To become His pupil?
“Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately… as wise (sensible, intelligent people)… Do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:15, 17 – Amplified)
- Is my manner of life, as a determined follower of Christ, obvious to the thoughtful people around me? Is it obvious to me?
“This should be your ambition: to live a quiet life, minding your own business and doing your own work, just as we told you before. As a result, people who are not Christians will trust and respect you… ” (1 Thessalonians 4:11, 12a – Living)
Conclusion: “The cross-shaped yoke of Christ is… an instrument of liberation and power to those who live in it with Him and learn the meekness and lowliness of heart that brings rest to the soul… [It is] the fulfillment of the highest human possibilities and is life on the highest plane.“
Like we once mentioned here that the path to higher calling in Christ is some what “lonely”… not many we desire to go through it… but when God chose it for you truly you will have no option other than to go through it… may God give us understanding in His Word in Jesus Name… Amen! Amen….
What are those things that are dear to your spirit-man, beloveth?… Are you willing to let them go and follow Jesus? Will you let go anything that wants to take the place of God in your life- (First)? Our God is a jealous God… nothing must take His place in your life… not family… not career… not even ministry… God must always have His place in your life (first) if you want to go far… Are your priorities taking shape in favour of God’s order of priority? Are you desiring to live as Jesus lives… or are you conceding some things to Him and some other to yourself? know yea that your liberation is fully assured only in Christ… Alleluia!!!
May God gave us fuller understanding of this topic in His Word beyond what is written here in Jesus Name…
