Beloveth, what an Awesome Father we have. He is beautiful in all situations. Our Father is here for us to bless us as He has said in Word to us. Yes He will bless His own and grant peace us. We dwell in peaceable habitation because He is the Prince of Peace and in Him we will run into and be secured. Praise the Lord!

Beloveth, today is Wednesday, the day we set aside in this ministry to talk about prayer. What is prayer someone want to know?

I want to exercise a little time talking about prayer because recently I have met two people who out of concern in what is going on in their life decide to confide in me having being moved by the Spirit of God to asked them what is going on because they are looking like a shadow of them that I use to know.

One thing is obvious in the two reactions and answers I got. “Is there is God, if there is why is this and this happening to me” “why is He not doing something about this obvious situations am passing through?” “Why can He just end it?”

Their reaction showed that even if there is God, they are tired of praying since answers are not coming. Beloveth, this is the point at which most of us lost it when it comes to our relationship with God.

Satan is not a babe in this business of deceit and painting a picture of hopelessness.   Making you believe that God is angry at you for one reason or the other. Or that God is so busy with some important person that He cares less about you. Better still God still remembers that sin you committed long time again. All these pranks are to hold you down. To caged you and tie you to himself and keep you in perpetual agony to make you rebellious to God.

Today, the Spirit of God will help you and get you out of that bondage in Jesus Name. He will set you free through the revelation knowledge that will be coming from the ministration of today and going forward He will be making it clearer and clearer as the day goes by. Praise the Lord somebody!

Beloveth from the foundation of the world God motive for creating a man was to have fellowship with him and for the man to procreate and have godly seed where His Name where be glorify now and always.

Beloveth, satan came and deceived Eve and took us out of this glorious vision of God from the beginning. However, God can never be beaten at any game so He made a way of reconciliation through His Son and reconciled us back to Himself.

Beloveth, prayer is fellowship and fellowship in a deeper sense is a communion with God. A relationship where we pour out our heart to Him, He listens to us then His Spirit imparts us and we learn from Him.

How does all these works out? Beloveth, by having a daily walk with God, by keeping your channel of communication open through the studying of His Word, meditating on them, exercising your faith on His promises( by action/doing what the Word said or commanded).

When you have this level of relationship with God beloveth you cannot easily be move. When ugly situations are asking you where is the God you lay claims on, you will be quick to call to remembrance all the things He (God) has done in the past and you will quickly respond that you know He will also do this one and this one but if He chose not to, like the three Hebrew boys you will tell the situation(s) that you will not still bow to it pressures. Praise the Lord.

Beloveth, prayer is not an occasion that come up then we pour all we have stored up and leave before God will even respond to you. Is not an opportunity you have to tell God what and what He suppose to be doing but He is not doing it. Prayer is not legal ground to blame God and sentence Him for failing in His roles as God.

We will also consider ways that will make our prayers effective and fruition.

The Psalmist in Psalm 46 challenges us to be “still and know God.” What an opportunity as leaders, parents, workers, to stay close to God and cultivate a rich relationship with Jesus Christ. By staying close, we are able to grow in our various capacities and character.

Staying close allows us to operate out of the overflow of our skills, gifts, talents to those around us. We are able to lead with a posture of humility and encouragement. We are able to recall scripture in moments of decision and see God’s movement in the things we are entrusted with. It is the greatest opportunity we have as workers to stay close to God.

This is the work of heart. But how can we cultivate our faith and grow in our various ministries? It is by creating an intentional environment where we can be fully present with the Lord. By shutting off our phones that hunger for our attention, we are able to seek a space and a place where we can be still and know the Lord.

Cultivating stillness to dig into scripture and read the word allows us to grow in our affections for Him. As we grow in our affections for the Lord, transformation will happen and we become a different, more effective persons/workers/parents/ leaders.

We can use a method called “space” and “Place” to also enhance our relation with God. How do these work?

You can plan for annual weekend retreat where you will create “space” for a few days and spend time in prayer, reading God’s word, enjoying nature and seeking rest. You can plan it with your mentors/mentees so they can also be still and know the Lord.

You also create a “place” in your home that is set apart for meeting with God each morning or evening/night. Each of these “Space” and “Place” builds for you a solid foundation from which I can then grow in your relationship with God.

By intentional creating a space and a place to meet with the Lord, we are able to cultivate richness in our faith, and as a result, we grow in our different roles as God children and our relationship with God flourishes.

Beloveth, prayer as we can see is not wait and get kind of relationship rather is a deeper communion with God that makes you place God above all things.

Let us endeavour to spend quality time with God that we don’t just talk to Him but we also hear Him speak to us.

In today’s prayer we are going to ask God not to forsake us. Someone is saying but said God said “His set time of our remembrance is now” we are just coming out of an exposition that is meant to open our eyes to Who God is, in as much as God has spoken you have to embrace it and remind Him of promises and Word to you.

Remind Him that you are waiting on Him, that you are trusting in Him that His Word/Promises will locate you for blessings.

Come let us plead with our Father to remember us even as His Word has been declared to us:

“Forsake me not, O Lord.” Psalm 38:21

Frequently we pray that God would not forsake us in the hour of trial and temptation, but we too much forget that we have need to use this prayer at all times. There is no moment of our life, however holy, in which we can do without His constant upholding. Whether in light or in darkness, in communion or in temptation, we alike need the prayer, “Forsake me not, O Lord.” “Hold Thou me up, and I shall be safe.”

A little child, while learning to walk, always needs the nurse’s aid. The ship left by the pilot drifts at once from her course. We cannot do without continued aid from above; let it then be your prayer today, “Forsake me not. Father, forsake not Thy child, lest he fall by the hand of the enemy.

Shepherd, forsake not Thy lamb, lest he wander from the safety of the fold. Great Husbandman, forsake not Thy plant, lest it wither and die. ‘Forsake me not, O Lord,’ now; and forsake me not at any moment of my life. Forsake me not in my joys, lest they absorb my heart. Forsake me not in my sorrows, lest I murmur against Thee.

Forsake me not in the day of my repentance, lest I lose the hope of pardon, and fall into despair; and forsake me not in the day of my strongest faith, lest faith degenerate into presumption. Forsake me not, for without Thee I am weak, but with Thee I am strong. Forsake me not, for my path is dangerous, and full of snares, and I cannot do without Thy guidance.

The hen forsakes not her brood, do Thou then evermore cover me with Thy feathers, and permit me under Thy wings to find my refuge. ‘Be not far from me, O Lord, for trouble is near, for there is none to help.’ ‘Leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!'”

“O ever in our cleansed breast,

Bid Thine Eternal Spirit rest;

And make our secret soul to be

A temple pure and worthy Thee.”

Yes Father, make me a temple pure and worthy of Thee, so that you can and dwell inside of me. Make a vessel worthy of your use Lord.

Remember Thy servant O! Lord to me good! (Neh. 13:31) Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

Father according to your Word to us let it be done unto us. Fill us up with Your Spirit. Help our spirit to pray and may answers be release also in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, let us pray!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
