Are there knotty issues or challenges the Hand of the Lord fixed for you? The Lord has so good to and have worked so many miracle in this first half of the month, hey I can’t wait to see what I will become before the end of the month. Praise the Lord! What about you? Remember “testimonies are excellent ways to evangelism so position yourself to benefit from it and afterward you leverage on it. Praise the Lord!
Beloved, as children of God we just have to offensive in our ways preaching this gospel first to ourselves and secondly to others, to ourselves, we must make sure that we stay far away from sin by avoiding it as a plague. Also ensures that we are do not yield any of our members to it by staying off it way. We may not be strong enough to wedge this war all by ourselves so we have to engage the Holy Spirit to help us, yes! seek help from the Trinity and you shall be keep safe and be empowered to be above only as the day go by.
Secondly, we must be instrument to luring others to sin against God neither should we partake of the sins of those around us. may God give us understanding in Jesus Name.
Beloved, let us indulge in sin and keep on pleading grace and mercy. As we will also read it must be decisive in our resolve to be a children of God and keep the “signs up” all the time.
Remember I do say during the week that we must be radical for Jesus in this kingdom business, so get involve but draw the lines, to know when the red light is up and seek help always.
Get on the Offensive
In spite of the importance of breaking decisively with everything of which Christ cannot approve, some Christians hide sins and are not willing to get rid of them. Let there be no illusion about this—no one can maintain their spiritual freshness as long as they allow known sin to remain and take root in their lives.
This matter of spiritual freshness is decided, not by living on the defensive, but by living on the offensive. It involves making definite decisions—decisions such as saying “Yes” to all that Christ offers and saying “No” to all that sin offers.
“Christianity,” said someone, “is not a prohibition but a privilege.” I would agree with that. But I would add that it does, however, have a prohibition in it. In our text for today, Jesus says that if your “hand” or your “eye” causes you to sin, then do something about it. In other words, do not tolerate anything that cuts across the central purpose of your life. From head to foot, you are to belong to Christ.
The order in these verses is important. The order is hand, foot, eye. The “hand” represents the doing of evil, the “foot” the approach toward evil, and the “eye” the seeing of evil with desire from afar.
What’s the message in all this? Quite clearly, the message is that sin must be cut out at every stage. The place to begin, of course, is with the “eye”—the place of desire. Take care of that, and you won’t have to worry too much about the “hand” and the “foot.”
O Father, teach me how to be a decisive and not a double-minded person—especially in relation to this matter of sin. Show me what things I need to break with in my life, and help me to do it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
What does it mean to “take up our cross”?
What was Peter’s declaration?
you take away from this PCL session is leaning backward let our faith be strong and justify us before God so that we can spread the good news with power not in mere words. Secondly, let us be decisive in our mind about following Christ to the end by drawing a line and let the “Red light” be an indicator of danger to seek help. Praise the Lord. You can as well engage a brethren that have a strong values in Christ to discuss your challenges with./
God see your heart but He has given you free will and will not compel you except you seek help from Him. so be wise how you live.
On this note I pen down for the week. See you next week by God’s grace, have a great week ahead. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remain blessed in the Lord.
