Beloveth our pray session is here again and we will pray until we are heard. In Gen 21:17 – God heard the voice of the lad and He came down from heaven and ministered to him and bless him even when that was the last thing they think will happen…God answers prayer even your heartfelt cry…God answers and will not keep quite… so what are trusting God for…What are those impossibilities in your life, don’t give up because God will answer you…He will not keep quite…He will come down and grant you your heart desires…He granted me today likewise He will grant yours if only you will believe and not give up…He comes quickly.
In Yesterday teaching we learnt that taking up “Your Cross” means to join God in His Redemptive work…our topic today is pointing us to one of those assignments that God will want us to be partner with Him…”intercessors”…. beloveth is your heart in tune with God?
Such hearts are the heart God is looking for…Heart that are in tune with the His heartbeat.…such heart God cannot overlook… A heart that stand before the porch and the altar, a heart that deny sleep and play for an hour longer, a heart that are yearning for God’s interventions on matters that pertinent God….if you are then join us to discover more:
I searched for a man among them who would repair the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land so that I might not destroy it, but I found no one.—Ezekiel 22:30
God looks for those whose hearts are prepared to be intercessors before Him. Intercessors have hearts in tune with God’s heart. They are so acutely aware of what is at stake, for their land, that they will stay before God as long as necessary in order to obtain God’s answer. That is why you do not volunteer to be an intercessor. God enlists you.
Why do we not intercede as we should? Perhaps we are afraid to put God to the test. We worry that God might not answer our prayers. Yet God promises that if we ask, we will receive (Matt. 7:7). We may fail to intercede because we believe the busyness of our everyday lives is more effective than prayer. Jesus warned that apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Without being intimately acquainted with God and His will, all of our labors are futile. Perhaps we fail to intercede because we misunderstand the heart of God. Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem as He interceded for it (Matt. 23:37). If we truly have God’s love within us, we will feel compelled to plead with God on behalf of those who face His imminent judgment.
Intercession is a lonely business. There may be many days or even years when there appear to be few results for your labor. Yet intercessors can be the only ones standing between a family and God’s judgment, or between an individual or nation and God’s wrath.
Beloveth now you know why you should be enlisted in this intercessors business, will you be willing to be part? We all need to be intercessors for our family, friends, church, community, those that hurting, those in prisons, those that are disadvantage, the list is unending… Ask the Holy Spirit to help you and strengthened you in the place of prayer so that your hands will not be weak nor your spirit faint while in prayer and as you do that you will enjoy to God’s presence as prayer brings you before His Presence and also decorate you with glory and favour…..
Father in heaven we ask for Your help us in the place of prayer, make our feeble hands and feet strong and make our heart in tune with Yours in Jesus Name.
