Everlasting Father, Everlasting Son, Immortal Holy Ghost be Thou glorify 2x.// I have the light of God in me 2x I have the Spirit of the Holy Ghost, I have a light of God in me.

Blessed Redeemer, we Thank You for the breaking of another day. Thank You Jesus, Thank You Lord. I will exhaust You Lord, for thou has lifted me above my enemies and Your banner over me is love.

Most gracious Father, we honour You for Who You are. Thank You and Thank You and Thank You for ever more. Come down in Your glory, come down in Your honour and receive our prayers unto Thee today in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, are you under the canopy of God? Do you remember that popular song- under the canopy of God? When you are under the canopy of God, no evil permitted around you. (Ps 91) as you will discover in the second teaching for today.

While bathing my baby this morning (He turn seven on 2nd of this month) he told me that he wants to become an astronaut because he want to go to the space and he will be for seventeen years while he is there, he will go to the moon and stand on top of it, but he needs a space suit, so where will he get a space suit. Well I told that those who will take him to the moon will provide the suit for him. He made an important remark that I want to share with you. He said, “Mummy do you know why I need a space suit?” I answered him, no, (I know ofcourse but I want to hear more from him). He said because there is no air up there (I corrected him no oxygen), he said, therefore there is no flying object near the moon.

Beloved that got me thinking. That gave me a vivid mental picture of God’s protection over us. I have started this write-up before going to bath him and get him ready for school. Imagine if things can easily get to the moon and the sun what will have become of them by now with the generation we have now. God is forever protecting it from the assaults of men. Likewise His protect over us, His children. Though the enemy might try to harm us, but he will not actually harm us in the real sense of it (Ps 125:1-2).

We might experience lack, denial, injustice, victimized, ill, but in all of these things it will not change Who God is but it will make us to be strong in Him and He is working out a way of escape for us. Praise the Lord.

We are going to consider one of the prayer points said by Jesus for his disciples and those that will later be (you and I). He prayed for God’s complete protection on those He gave Him and we are going to appropriate same to ourselves having joined the fold:

“While I was with them,

I was protecting them by Your name that You have given Me.

I guarded them and not one of them is lost,

except the son of destruction,

so that the Scripture may be fulfilled.”—John 17:12

Nothing that Satan can do to you should cause you to fear (2 Tim. 1:7). Jesus chose the twelve disciples the Father had given Him and then jealously guarded them from the evil one. Jesus sent His disciples into the world where they experienced difficult and dangerous circumstances, but He interceded on their behalf with His Father that they would have His strong protection from the evil one (John 17:15).

In the same way, Jesus said that we, as His sheep, are held securely in the Father’s strong hand (John 10:28). There is no better place to be than safely in the hand of almighty God. Do you believe this, or are you fearful of what Satan or people can do to you? The apostle John encourages us that we do not need to fear: “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

This is not merely a theological concept but a profound reality in which you can have absolute confidence. It is not just a truth for meditation in the security of your home; it is a promise you can cling to in the midst of a hostile and menacing world.

What you do reveals what you believe. If you are living a fearful, anxiety-filled life, you are proving your lack of confidence in God’s protection, regardless of what you may say. Live your life with confidence that Jesus is continually interceding with the Father on your behalf. If you trust Him completely, you will have nothing to fear.

Beloved, this is not as easy it is sounding when you are confronting some challenges in life, but you just have to trust God on every matter. Not resting in your own strength or wisdom but in the help of the God Almighty. I had some challenges recently, precisely yesterday and when I came back home, I went before God and gave Him the details not that He is not aware but in humility I went back to Him and ask Him what to do. He gave me answers that made me slept like a baby till this morning. He gave me peace. He gave sleep, I am but a grateful being this morning, praise the Lord.

So what is it that is troubling your Spirit? What is it that is causing fear in you? What is it that is making you to fret? Can I tell you what He told me that gave great succor? He said “fear not, for I will help Thee” (Isa 41:13; Zech 8:13-15; Phil 4:9). It worth more than any amount in world bank account.

So all I need do is to hold on to His Word. I know whom my God is and in whom I believe. And when He said a thing, He will surely bring it to pass. So I have to sensitive in my Spirit to know where He is leading me for the solution. Great peace have I in Him (Ps 119:165). What about You? Let’s keep going:

“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night.” Psalm 91:5

What is this terror? It may be the cry of fire, or the noise of thieves, or fancied appearances, or the shriek of sudden sickness or death. We live in the world of death and sorrow, we may therefore look for ills as well in the night-watches as beneath the glare of he broiling sun. Nor should this alarm us, for be the terror what it may, the promise is that the believer shall not be afraid.

Why should he? Let us put it more closely, why should we? God our Father is here, and will be here all through the lonely hours; He is an almighty Watcher, a sleepless Guardian, a faithful Friend. Nothing can happen without His direction, for even hell itself is under His control. Darkness is not dark to Him. He has promised to be a wall of fire around His people—and who can break through such a barrier?

Worldlings may well be afraid, for they have an angry God above them, a guilty conscience within them, and a yawning hell beneath them; but we who rest in Jesus are saved from all these through rich mercy. If we give way to foolish fear we shall dishonour our profession, and lead others to doubt the reality of godliness. We ought to be afraid of being afraid, lest we should vex the Holy Spirit by foolish distrust.

Down, then, ye dismal forebodings and groundless apprehensions, God has not forgotten to be gracious, nor shut up His tender mercies, it may be night in the soul, but there need be no terror, for the God of love changes not. Children of light may walk in darkness, but they are not therefore cast away, nay, they are now enabled to prove their adoption by trusting in their heavenly Father as hypocrites cannot do.

“Though the night be dark and dreary,

Darkness cannot hide from Thee;

Thou art He, who, never weary,

Watchest where Thy people be.”

Beloved, in this season of grace and peace through our Great Master and Saviour Jesus, may you come before God and partake of this great buffet, come and take your heart desire, He is ever willing to have you serve. Our God is a prayer answering God. Praise the Name of Lord.

Pray in His presence and receive answers today and great will be thy peace. Be more assured that He that watches over you neither sleep nor slumber. He will ensure you’re going out and you’re coming back. The Lord will preserve you from all evil, He will lead you to your peaceful habitation this season in Jesus Name (Isa 32:17-18) Amen! No more fear in Jesus Name. Every storm be calm in Jesus Name. Be yea light as your heavenly Father is and He taketh pleasure in you (1 Jn 1:5-7, Ps 149:4).

Remain blessed in the Lord.
