Who is like unto Thee, O Lord! Only I will serve, Mighty Jehovah, only You I will serve, I have no other God. Somebody touch me x2, somebody touch my soul. When I was praying, praying to my Father, somebody touch my soul. I know is Jesus x2, I know is Jesus touch my soul. When I was praying, praying to my Father, somebody touch my soul.

Father in heaven O God, we thank you. We blessed You, we bless Your Holy Name, we glorify You forever. Thank You for who You Are. Let the earth rejoice and the living rejoice, the Lord God reign.

Dearly beloved, let us praise God for His Faithful all through this month. Faithful are You, Lord. We are in last lap of the month, the rain of abundance if it is yet to fall in your life, you need not fear for it will, according to His promise. Only be sure you are rightly position for your blessing and your faith never wean for His word is yea and amen. What He said, He will surely do (Gen 15:1).

Last week was an interesting one for us as a ministry, the Lord took us on tour for the whole essence of our being in this part of eternity. ‘You must be born again’ is a popular song. Why is it so important that we get born again? It is a platform that strips us of our old nature while our new nature is guarantees.

You cannot be use of God in your old nature. Though the gift of God is without repentance but it is expected of you to get rid of your old nature as soon your ministry is made know to you. God cannot prosper iniquity, He will always give many opportunities to repent and come to Him. This is the experience of those who encountered Him during the bible days and am very confident that same will be our testimony too.

The Lord said to Abram: Go out from your land, your relatives,

and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.—Genesis 12:1

The most dramatic changes in your life will come from God’s initiative, not yours. The people God used mightily in Scripture were all ordinary people to whom He gave divine assignments that they never could have initiated. The Lord often took them by surprise for they were not seeking significant mandates from God. Even so, He saw their hearts, and He knew they were trustworthy.

The Lord spoke to Abram when He was beginning to build a nation dedicated to His purposes. Through this nation would come the Savior. God appeared to Moses at the very time He had purposed to deliver Israel out of slavery in Egypt. God found in Jesse’s youngest son David a godly man who could lead His people.

God surprised Mary when He told her she would be the mother of the Messiah. God’s Son selected the twelve disciples, all ordinary, uneducated men, when He was ready to take the good news of His salvation to the world. Through the ages God has taken the initiative in the everyday lives of people to accomplish things through them that they never could have imagined.

The Lord may be initiating some new things in your life. When He tells you what His plans are, trust Him and walk closely with Him. Don’t let the busyness of your present activity keep you from experiencing all that God has in store for you. You will see Him accomplish things through your life that you never dreamed were possible (Eph. 3:20).

Don’t be afraid next time you are called to any assignment, make yourself available and see how God will work through you.

You will be an amazement to yourself. Though so many of us instead of enjoying God’s presence, they spend their time grumbling and complaining about one thing or the other. By God’s grace, I have serve in many capacity of leadership as I was growing up and up until now and each time am I given an assignment to do, I will be like “me” of all people. I will humble myself before God and ask him to help me. The result is always astounding.

Others will be amazed but I know the secret, God! He exchange my strength with His strength and my knowledge with His Wisdom. His presence is ever abiding and He speaks to me always. Wow! Such an amazing moment.

Beloved, ever been called to either be in any leadership position or assignment in the church or secular? Commit it to God and you will see another “you”. Though God might initiate it, you must relay on Him to pull through.

Let us consider some self-made ‘heroes’, how they started and their eventually end:

Heroes

Recently, I was the guest in a home that displayed a surreal painting entitled “Hollywood Boulevard.” The mural depicted Elvis Presley, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando while in their prime: Virile, lusty, cocky, and ready to take on the world!

Presley died prematurely of alcohol and drugs. Dean expired in a car accident while driving under the influence. Marilyn Monroe took her own life, and many years later one of Brando’s deeply troubled progeny ended up in jail after murdering a peer during a jealous rampage.

Like it or not, our heroes do reflect our deepest values. Heading today’s heroes are the likes of Bill Gates, Michael Jordan, and Demi Moore, of business, sports, and entertainment fame.

Do you ever wonder what lies behind their public image of virility, brilliance and unimaginable achievement? Ever wonder how they get along with their spouses? If they sleep peacefully at night? Ever wonder what it may have cost them in terms of relationships with their children to achieve their dizzying pinnacle of “success”?

The playwright Clarence Day reminds us that “life is but a dream and things are not what they seem.

Let me ask you: With whom are you traveling in the secret crevices of your mind? People highly esteemed by this world’s values? Or with those individuals steeped in God’s Word, who have chosen the less-traveled path of humility, integrity, faithfulness and commitment to the highest moral and spiritual standards?

“He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.” (Proverbs 13:20)

The illusion is that somewhere out there an erotic, avant-garde lifestyle awaits, that will garner me charm, thrills and never-ending excitement; a life that will somehow circumvent the gnarly truth that one reaps what one sows.

The reality is that only in Christ will the longings of the restless heart be satisfied: “In Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble… ” (John 16:33)

I have every confidence that by His grace you and I will discern between the two and wisely respond accordingly!

I believe this message has been sent out to meet someone who is seeking out solution to a life decision. Be wise. In Christ is peace but outside of Him is crises (Gal 5:1). May God help us all in Jesus Name.

This week is blessed in the Lord. Go and do exploits in Jesus Name. You will be an instrument of honour and not of disgrace in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
