Who is like unto Thee O Lord, who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiness fearful with praising doing wonders alleluia. Thanks, thanks Lord we give You thanks for all You have done in our lives. We are so blessed, our souls have found rest, O God we give You thanks.

Father in heaven above Thank You for the beautiful July, blessed be Your Holy Name for ever and ever. We are here again Lord, standing before Your Throne in honour of Who You are, merciful God, we Thank You for diverse miracles You did amongst Your people. Healings, protections, provisions, salvations, deliverances, and restorations. Thank You Lord.

Beloved, our God has been faithful to us. Blessing us daily, taking sickness away from amongst us. Delivering us from the operations of the wicked ones. So many got married, many others had babies, many got new jobs, some others conceive, while some received new birth, praise the Lord.

In our teaching today, we will be considering “God’s Presence.” From today onward, I covet the presence of God to go with me as Moses declared before Him in the wilderness. He said Lord if Your presence is not going with us do not send us on from here (Ex 33:15)

Beloveth, I want us to examine this particular declaration of this patriot. Considering where he and his people were coming from, all the battles fought and won to free them from the clutches of the wicked pharaoh of that time. I believe Moses knew exactly the request he was making before God.

However, it took God to rescue the children of Israel from their slave master. Who else would have delivered them from such a powerful king such as Pharaoh? God made Moses a god unto pharaoh and that was enough humbling for him. The rod in Moses hand signifies the Presence of God (Exo 4:1-4; Exo 7:1). Little wonder why Moses at this time was telling God except you go with us, we go nowhere.

Talking about God’s presence, King David made a lots difference from King Saul just because of God’s presence with him. David will always enquire of God before doing anything unlike Saul that will go ahead with his plan despite knowing the mind of God (1 Sam 15:3; 7-9). David obey God to the later and have such much confidence in God based on his own experiences and from what he heard of god from his ancestors.

Beloved, the battle within and without is fierce, you will agree with me. It will only take God to go all the way and overcome every enemies that might come our ways.

Of the truth, our God is able to deliver and to make whole. He alone is One Who can make all things well and beautiful. God fights our secret battles. He brought salvation to us while we are deep in sin. God made the crooked path straight before you started your journey. He is indeed our God Who love the prosperity of His children and therefore can do anything to see it happen.

Though this month is gradually winding up. I have a strong feeling that we need God’s presence to complete the remaining months of this year and beyond.

Therefore, let’s us seek God’s presence today. In God’s presence testimonies abound. Many impossibility will become possible. In today’s text, we will see God Himself assuring Joshua of His presence.

Beloved, God’s presence makes a lot of difference. There are a lot of things God wants to do in your life but only His presence shall bring it to past. So let us take out time to ask for His abiding Presence as the day go by.

Let’s go for more:

No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. I will be with you, just as I was with Moses. I will not leave you or forsake you.—Joshua 1:5

God’s assignment for Joshua might have caused him some concern. Being the successor to Moses was no small task. Through Moses, God had turned the waters in Egypt into blood, parted the Red Sea, destroyed the Egyptian army, and miraculously fed the nation for forty years. God spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai and gave him His law. Joshua must have wondered how he could follow Moses.

To erase any doubt, God assured Joshua that Moses’ accomplishments had all been due to God’s presence. Joshua grew confident because the same God who walked with Moses now walked with him (Josh. l:6).

As you read the accounts of God’s miraculous work through men and women in the Bible, you may wonder if God still performs such miracles today. Be assured that the same God who walked with Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Peter, James, John, and Paul now lives within you.

No power can defeat the God who guides you. The God who blessed them is just as capable of working out His purposes through your life. The same God who gave them victory over seemingly invincible enemies, who provided for them when their own resources were insufficient, and who guided them in their decisions, is prepared to work as powerfully in your life today.

The heroes of the faith had one thing in common: They were all ordinary people with no power of their own. The difference is the mighty presence of God. Times may change, but the effect of God’s presence remains the same.

And as result of the lesson above, come and discover what will help you to sustain same in your life:

 Inner Chaos Or Inner Solitude

One reason we struggle with time alone with God is our apprehension over facing ourselves.

The confrontation with our inner life may simply be too painful to face. Thus, we shield ourselves from solitude by an endless array of T.V., people, phone calls, books and scheduled time pressures.

As a result, our lives have become absurd, (which in Latin means “deaf “), incapable of hearing the voice of God. Knowing God requires the spiritual discipline to shut out the world for regular times of solace in order to listen to His voice.

When we do learn to listen, we become obedient, (which in Latin means “listening”). Thus, when we begin to discipline our lives, we start to move from a life of absurdity – spiritual deafness — to a life of listening — a life of obedience.

It will cost something to walk slow in the parade of the ages while excited men of time rush about confusing motion with progress. But it will pay in the long run and the true Christian is not much interested in anything short of that. A. W. Tozer

We cannot know God without disciplining ourselves to make room for inner solitude. This was Jesus’ pattern with His Father, and it must also become ours. At the heart of prayer is obediently listening to God through His Word and the inner prompting of the Spirit.

We need to begin by setting a daily time and place for God; writing it in our calendar as a daily appointment. Preferably in the morning. (Let’s face it: By evening, most of us are brain dead!) Start with 5 or 10 minutes. Choose a small portion of Scripture, say 3 – 5 verses. Read slowly, pondering, and jotting down observations; co-mingling meditation and prayer as we talk over our insights with God.

Over the days, weeks, and months, the appetite for this quiet connection with God will grow to the point where we do not want to live without it. No longer will we feel we are wasting our time. When this happens, the inner chaos, noise, anger and frustration will begin to give way to inner peace and tranquillity.

This is the beginning of knowing the Living God.

David knew the deeds of God will tending sheep in the wilderness. And these testimony help him when he was about to fight goliath. Saul though a good boy as we can see that his Father send him searching for his lost asses but he has no first-hand knowledge of God neither had  he encounter with God  personal, however we saw that he fear God and believe in His prophet (1 Sam 9:7).

Beloved, your love for God will make you to go after Him, worship Him however your knowledge of God is what will sustain you doing trials. So much is resting on you to search the scripture and get to know Who God really is (Ps 119:129-143). This is a great liberation from the clutches of devil and everything that make itself superior against the knowledge of God. Praise God.

I pray for you on this last day of our teaching in this month of dominion through Kindness that is in Christ Jesus that God’s presence go with you, to guide you and to instruct you all days of your life in Jesus Name. May God of hosts give hear my prayer: give ear O God of Jacob …. the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Have a glorious weekend and see you in August God’s willing in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
