Because of Who You are I give you glory, because of You are I give praise, because of Who You are Lord, I will lift my voice and Lord, I worship you because of who are Lord I worship you because of Who You. I just want to be where You are, dwelling in your presence daily, I don’t want worship from afar, draw me near to where You are. I just want to be where you are, in your dwelling place forever. Take me to the place where you are, I just want to be with you…

Father, this my heartfelt cry this moment, just to be in Your presence Lord and I believe that my dear reader also desires that also, for we know that in Your Presence there is fullness of joy and Your glory shines forth ever more. In Your Presence there is deliverance and healing. In Your Presence there is restoration and power. In Your Presence we are complete. Thank You Lord, thank You Father.

Father I love You, I lay my life before You, Father I love you. Jesus I love you I my life before You, Jesus I love You, Spirit I love You, I lay my life before You, Spirit I love you.

Beloved is our prayer time again in the ministry and the last of it in the month of February our month of blessedness in Christ. God has been so wonderful to us an individual and as a ministry. Am sure I have witness in the house of those who have testimonies of what God has done for them.  He is more than you can call Him. Ever faithful, Forever Dependable that is Who we serve.

Beloved, the impact of our last Wednesday topic “unbroken fellowship essential” cannot leave me in a hurry cause so many things are hinge on it. if you ever experience such a time you will be in Jacob state when said “I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved”, you will be like the apostles of the old that pleaded with Jesus “let us build three huts here one you, one for … and one for us .

Beloved, you don’t need to struggle to get things done because the heaven will give you their opinion on the matters at stake. When you want to miss it, you will also get the signal from above that you are missing it.

God will always carry you along in matter of concerns or otherwise (Gen 18:17-19). He will not hide things from you. Is such wonderful experience to have and behold.

Our topic today is special in a way that you must hear heaven to be heard. Most of us specializes on the second aspect rather than the first. We want to be heard all the time but we never take out time to hear God and obey His bidding. When God speak expressly to us, we don’t want to abide with what He is directing or instructing us to do rather our prayer time is full with “God give me this and give me that.”

As much as there is nothing wrong with that, we must also learn to listen to conditions that precede our receiving from God also. May God give you understanding in Jesus Name.

Beloved, there are grave consequences associated with disobeying God. In our devotional today, we will be examining one of the chief character in the in the bible, who instead of obey God’s instruction, chose to flee from His presence and the aftermath of his action.

Brethren the hurting truth is that you cannot run away from God neither can you hide your secret sins from Him, therefore the only solution for me like David is to seek to abide in His presence daily. Right there in His presence I will always hear Him so that He will hear me also.

Glory be to God in the highest and peace to men of goodwill. Are you one of them that will chose peace over chaotic? If you are, let get down into His presence:

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7

Note well, that we must hear Jesus speak if we expect Him to hear us speak. If we have no ear for Christ, He will have no ear for us. In proportion as we hear we shall be heard.

Moreover, what is heard must remain, must live in us, and must abide in our character as a force and a power. We must receive the truths which Jesus taught, the precepts which He issued, and the movements of His Spirit within u5; or we shall have no power at the mercy-seat.

Suppose our Lord’s words to be received, and to abide in us, what a boundless field of privilege is opened up to us! We are to have our will in prayer, because we have already surrendered our will to the Lord’s command. Thus are Elijahs trained to handle the keys of Heaven, and lock or loose the clouds. One such man is worth a thousand common Christians.

Do we humbly desire to be intercessors for the church and the world, and like Luther to be able to have what we will of the Lord? Then we must bow our ear to the voice of the Well-beloved, and treasure up His words, and carefully obey them. He had need to “hearken diligently” who would pray effectually.

Read on:

“But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa.” Jonah 1:3

Instead of going to Nineveh to preach the Word, as God bade him, Jonah disliked the work, and went down to Joppa to escape from it. There are occasions when God’s servants shrink from duty. But what is the consequence? What did Jonah lose by his conduct? He lost the presence and comfortable enjoyment of God’s love.

When we serve our Lord Jesus as believers should do, our God is with us; and though we have the whole world against us, if we have God with us, what does it matter? But the moment we start back, and seek our own inventions, we are at sea without a pilot. Then may we bitterly lament and groan out, “O my God, where hast Thou gone? How could I have been so foolish as to shun Thy service, and in this way to lose all the bright shinings of Thy face? This is a price too high. Let me return to my allegiance, that I may rejoice in Thy presence.”

In the next place, Jonah lost all peace of mind. Sin soon destroys a believer’s comfort. It is the poisonous upas tree, from whose leaves distil deadly drops which destroy the life of joy and peace. Jonah lost everything upon which he might have drawn for comfort in any other case. He could not plead the promise of divine protection, for he was not in God’s ways; he could not say, “Lord, I meet with these difficulties in the discharge of my duty, therefore help me through them.” He was reaping his own deeds; he was filled with his own ways.

Christian, do not play the Jonah, unless you wish to have all the waves and the billows rolling over your head. You will find in the long run that it is far harder to shun the work and will of God than to at once yield yourself to it. Jonah lost his time, for he had to go to Tarshish after all. It is hard to contend with God; let us yield ourselves at once.

Now that you have made it up to this point beloved, what is your mind tell you? To live in God’s presence and do His biddings or to shun His presence and disobey Him through and through. If your choosing the first option come with as we pray today.

Father, I desire unbroken fellowship with you and the saints in the land. Help me to do your will always not minding the cost. Help me also to help those you will send my ways and point them to Christ rather them destroy their hopes in you (Gen 18:22b). May You reign in our life and situation.

Father, we pray especially for our leaders, those You put over us as leaders, bosses, husbands and parents. Give them wisdom from above to rule over us. May they not be used by the devil to thwart Your plans and vision for mankind but rather that Your Spirit will possess them and through them actualize your plans for mankind in Jesus Name we pray. Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!

May the Lord hear you when you call as you humble yourself before Him to pray until your answers come in Jesus’s Name! (Gen 18:23-32)

Remain ever blessed in the Lord.
