Beloveth, you have to possess your possession. How, someone wants to know? Jesus said that everything my Father has is mine… He takes from what is mine and will declare it to you. (Jn 16:15) Praise the Lord!

The SOS chapter 2 verse 16 and chapter 6 verse 3 said “My beloved is mine, and I am His: He feedeth among the lilies.

Do you believe in Jesus? Then possess what He has gotten for you from the foundation of the world, Praise the Lord! If you don’t who you are, the devil will make you to bow down to him to get what has already been destined/ willed to you from the foundation of the world. Praise the Lord!

Do I have a doubting Thomas in the house, join us to read Matt 4:8-10 “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” (KJV)

Beloveth what did you read? If Jesus does not know Who He is and what belongs to Him, Thank God that Jesus knows Who is, but considering what happened in the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve fail to his trick because they don’t know who they are in God (Gen 3:1-8).

Let look at this statement of His in Jn 18:36 “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (KJV). Also in Matt 4:10, Jesus declared that we can only bow down to God alone and only Him shall we serve. Praise the Lord.

This is a statement of a man who knows He is and His purpose in life. A lot of Christians don’t know who they are and what purpose God sent them to the earth. They came; they saw wealth and started amassing it, in the process they lost their sense of purpose in life. Praise the Lord!

Beloveth, if Jesus is yours and you are His, you will go for the things He like. You will desire to fellowship with Him and do His bidding. And when you do you will have a clear perspective of what we are going to discuss today.

Come along for more:

“His fruit was sweet to my taste.” Song 2:3

Faith, in the Scripture, is spoken of under the emblem of all the senses. It is sight: “Look unto me and be ye saved.” It is hearing: “Hear, and your soul shall live.” Faith is smelling: “All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia”; “thy name is as ointment poured forth.” Faith is spiritual touch. By this faith the woman came behind and touched the hem of Christ’s garment, and by this we handle the things of the good word of life. Faith is equally the spirit’s taste. “How sweet are Thy words to my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my lips.” “Except a man eat my flesh,” saith Christ, “and drink my blood, there is no life in him.”

This “taste” is faith in one of its highest operations. One of the first performances of faith is hearing. We hear the voice of God, not with the outward ear alone, but with the inward ear; we hear it as God’s Word, and we believe it to be so; that is the “hearing” of faith. Then our mind looketh upon the truth as it is presented to us; that is to say, we understand it, we perceive its meaning; that is the “seeing” of faith. Next we discover its preciousness; we begin to admire it, and find how fragrant it is; that is faith in its “smell.” Then we appropriate the mercies which are prepared for us in Christ; that is faith in its “touch.” Hence follow the enjoyments, peace, delight, communion; which are faith in its “taste.”

Any one of these acts of faith is saving. To hear Christ’s voice as the sure voice of God in the soul will save us; but that which gives true enjoyment is the aspect of faith wherein Christ, by holy taste, is received into us, and made, by inward and spiritual apprehension of His sweetness and preciousness, to be the food of our souls. It is then we sit “under His shadow with great delight,” and find His fruit sweet to our taste.

Beloveth, did you read the above narration of faith carefully? Do you ever think that faith has all these features as enumeration above? That is why the Word of God encourages in growing our faith.

Your knowledge of Who Christ is helps you to truly identify who you are also. It will help you to stand firm on the Word of God and don’t compromise your virtue.

Can you compare sitting in the heavenly places with having domino in the world with no hope of heaven as a home? When satan was telling Jesus that he will give Him the whole world don’t he recognize who Jesus was?

That is why we must be careful in our dealings. Satan is not afraid that you carry Bible or you are a prayer warrior; he is only afraid of that man and woman that live out the teaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let read verse 11 of Matt chapter 4 “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.” (KJV).

Beloveth, satan was bold enough to tempted Jesus in those things he saw as needs in His life and until Jesus re-established Who He is, then verse 11 said “ he left him and the angels of God came to minister to Him.

Beloveth, we are not only going to be shouting the loudest alleluia but we must also make sure that our life shouts along too. We must live out our faith in Christ Jesus and draw men to God. Praise the Lord!

As we read above, our faith has all the sensory organs you have learnt in school from “touching to taste.” In this month of “Great Turn-around” we must make sure that we carry Jesus along as we go, live as He will want us to live and be all He wants us to be, then when are standing and saying “God help me, I cannot help myself, or God do it, for You are the only One Who can do it in sincerity of purpose, God will show up, Praise the Lord!

Remember the Red Sea experience, when the children of Israel were leaving Egypt, they never saw it coming even Moses wouldn’t have seen it too but it became the only option since the Edom refused them passage through their land but the God they serve owns both land and sea. Praise the Lord!

Having been in the plan of God and having been obeying Him, He made a way for them where there was no way. Beloveth, our God is going to make a way for us where there seems to be no way, can I have a believing Amen!

He will walk in our midst and speak life to us, He will say to us “look and live” and we will live. He will surely help you, don’t be afraid but look steady unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, alleluia somebody!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beloveth, faith is in tasting too “taste and see that the Lord is good,” Praise the Name of Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep praising the Lord beloveth, behold the day of the cometh (Zech 14:1a)

Remain blessed in the Lord.
