Today we are considering a topic which says “How do you respond to seemingly impossible circumstances… though we have a follow-up message below but before you get into it…  we want to have your response…. how will response to a circumstance that is beyond you…”with fear or with faith?”

Is important we answer this question as that will guide us more effectively in our responses to circumstances as it arise in our lives…

Come along for more:

How Do You Respond To Seemingly Impossible Circumstances?

With fear or faith?

King Saul and his son Jonathan illustrate both:

SAUL, panics as he sees his troops deserting him while on a military skirmish as they await the priest’s appearance to offer a sacrifice. So Saul steps in and presumptuously assumes the priest’s religious duty.

I saw that the men were scattering.” – Frazzled by circumstances.

I thought, Now the Philistines will come down against me… ‘” – Ruled by fear.

I felt compelled to offer burnt offerings.” – Prompted by emotions.

The consequences? Saul is disenfranchised as king, (and dies a premature death):

Now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leaderbecause you have not kept the Lords command.” (1 Samuel 13:14)

JONATHAN, by contrast, is vastly out-numbered by the Philistine army, yet chooses to believe God to use him in defeating them.

Come, lets go over to the Philistines” – Scoped out the enemy.

Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf” – Made himself available to be used of God.

Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few” – Believed God could use him to destroy the enemy.

The consequences? Jonathan victoriously destroys enemy forces.

SAUL saw challenging circumstances through the eyes of fear and failed.

JONATHAN saw challenging circumstances through the eyes of faith and succeeded. (1 Samuel 13:1-14:23)

QUESTION: When you are faced with difficult circumstances that appear to be overwhelmingly impossible, what do you do? Panic, like Saul and resort to your own solutions? Or do you, like Jonathan trust God, and see Him come through with His solution?

Beloveth… we have a perfect example of what fear or faith is from the Bible…two people faced with circumstance seemingly above their capacity as mortal… one responded by faith why the other responded by fear…

May I remind you again what the acronym of FEAR stand for…. In fact the word FEAR has two meanings- one says –Forget Everything And Run…. The other one says – Face Everything And Rise…

However, “FAITH is not believing that God can; it’s knowing that He will….” If you believe that God will work in that circumstance shout alleluia!!!

I know my God is able… The three Hebrew boys said in the face of their death…. and God did it… Dan.3:17-18.

And Mary said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord: be it unto me according to Thy word.” Lk.1:38.

Do I have a believer saying same at this time… I know my God will do it (them) and not disappoint… … I know that God will show forth His Praise in the midst of His people…

Beloveth… we serve a mountain moving God… with just a grain of your faith… Matt.17:20

Note that “Losers quit when they fail…. Winners fail until they succeed”

Do I have someone with a mountain in front… this moment … I have this to tell you…”is not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see…”

What you see depends solely on which wall you are leaning- walls of fear… walls of faith… …your Mindset is everything…. Don’t forget “The biggest risk is not taking any risk.”

Finally do I have you “Trust God and Chill” … I love You….Somebody shout alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
