How wonderful, how marvelous is thy loving kindness, is thy loving kindness O Lord. Therefore the children of men 2x, put their trust, put there trust, under the shadow of their wing.(repeat therefore the children of men).// Thanks Lord we give thanks for all You have done in my life, You are so good, our soul has found rest, O God, we give You thanks.

Father, we want to thank You for a beautiful week ahead of us. Thank You for Your protection last week, divine provision and security that You granted us Your children, we cannot thank You enough. Father, according to Your Word, when the enemy will comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Praise the Name of the Lord.  Thank You Father for being God indeed unto us. Blessed be Thy Holy Name forever and ever Amen!

Faithful are You Lord. We worship You, we exalt Your Holy Name forever and ever Amen.

Beloved, good morning to you. How was your weekend? Hope wonderful, thanks be to God! I guess we are up and going. The third week is here with us not without testimonies, faithful is our God.

Faith is platform of this ministry and for the first in four years the Lord is giving us opportunity to about faith for a month running. And we must maximum it by the special grace of God. The Holy Spirit will help us.

Beloved, is only what you permit that stays. In all these years I have seen God particular walking in every situation placed in His hand, some we don’t have a cue to, still He went ahead of us to do it and leave us with wow! at the end. And we know that it had nothing to do with us but everything to do with Him. Therefore we are also very careful to return all the praises to Him.

This to encourage you and make you understand that God is Faithful and if you want to obtain anything from Him, you must be willing to “let go and let God”. If you still want to cling your fingers around your troubles, problems or challenges, God will be looking at you, until you invite Him into it. Glory be to Jesus.

We promised at the beginning of this month to bring up as many write up, revelation and illumination that will help us in understanding the subject of “faith” in a higher dimension  and not only that, that will also help us to apply same to our life and situation. This is just reminder, so that we don’t go through this month with that depleting situation still asking us where is our God?

I came across this write by Tozer and I decided to share it with you because of insight I have from it. According to his write up, he classified faith into two- Nominal and Real faith. Nominal faith is that which accept what it is told and can quote text after text to prove it. It’s amazing how nominal faith and nominal belief can weave these texts into garments, cloaks and curtain for the church.

But there is another this kind of faith: it is faith that depends upon the character of God. You will remember that the scripture does not say, “Abraham believed the text, and it is was counted unto him for righteousness.” It says, “Abraham believed God” (Rom4:3). It was not ‘what’ Abraham believed, it was ‘who’ Abraham believed that counted. Abraham believed God, and the man of true faith believed God and his faith rests on the character of God. The man who has real faith other than nominal faith has found a right answer to the question, “what is God like?’- The man with real faith will found the answer through revelation and illumination.  We continue with these tomorrow.

As we wrote earlier you must learn to trust God and not your idea, or imagination. You must learn to trust what the Word of God is saying concerning your situation and not what economist are propounding and proffering. Not even what people are saying. The best solution to any issues in life is, what is God saying?

It will very important if we learn to live by what God is saying, if we are led by the Spirit and walk in the Spirit too. A man who walks by the Spirit are not under the law but by grace rooted in faith and now find out what more:

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25

The two most important things in our holy religion are the life of faith and the walk of faith. He who shall rightly understand these is not far from being a master in experimental theology, for they are vital points to a Christian. You will never find true faith unattended by true godliness; on the other hand, you will never discover a truly holy life which has not for its root a living faith upon the righteousness of Christ.

Woe unto those who seek after the one without the other! There are some who cultivate faith and forget holiness; these may be very high in orthodoxy, but they shall be very deep in condemnation, for they hold the truth in unrighteousness; and there are others who have strained after holiness of life, but have denied the faith, like the Pharisees of old, of whom the Master said, they were “whitewashed sepulchres.”

We must have faith, for this is the foundation; we must have holiness of life, for this is the superstructure. Of what service is the mere foundation of a building to a man in the day of tempest? Can he hide himself therein? He wants a house to cover him, as well as a foundation for that house. Even so we need the superstructure of spiritual life if we would have comfort in the day of doubt.

But seek not a holy life without faith, for that would be to erect a house which can afford no permanent shelter, because it has no foundation on a rock. Let faith and life be put together, and, like the two abutments of an arch, they will make our piety enduring. Like light and heat streaming from the same sun, they are alike full of blessing. Like the two pillars of the temple, they are for glory and for beauty.

They are two streams from the fountain of grace; two lamps lit with holy fire; two olive trees watered by heavenly care. O Lord, give us this day life within, and it will reveal itself without to Thy glory.

Beloved, if we are led by the Spirit of God we are not under law, what more, let’s find out:

“If ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” Galatians 5:18

We who looks at his own character and position from a legal point of view, will not only despair when he comes to the end of his reckoning, but if he be a wise man he will despair at the beginning; for if we are to be judged on the footing of the law, there shall no flesh living be justified.

How blessed to know that we dwell in the domains of grace and not of law! When thinking of my state before God the question is not, “Am I perfect in myself before the law?” but, “Am I perfect in Christ Jesus?” That is a very different matter. We need not enquire, “Am I without sin naturally?” but, “Have I been washed in the fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness?” It is not “Am I in myself well pleasing to God?” but it is “Am I accepted in the Beloved?”

The Christian views his evidences from the top of Sinai, and grows alarmed concerning his salvation; it were better far if he read his title by the light of Calvary. “Why,” saith he, “my faith has unbelief in it, it is not able to save me.” Suppose he had considered the object of his faith instead of his faith, then he would have said, “There is no failure in Him, and therefore I am safe.” He sighs over his hope: “Ah! my hope is marred and dimmed by an anxious carefulness about present things; how can I be accepted?”

Had he regarded the ground of his hope, he would have seen that the promise of God standeth sure, and that whatever our doubts may be, the oath and promise never fail. Ah! believer, it is safer always for you to be led of the Spirit into gospel liberty than to wear legal fetters. Judge yourself at what Christ is rather than at what you are.

Satan will try to mar your peace by reminding you of your sinfulness and imperfections: you can only meet his accusations by faithfully adhering to the gospel and refusing to wear the yoke of bondage.

Beloved, remember that the faith we are talking here is a faith in Christ Jesus. We have no merit of your own except that of Christ. We cannot lean on our righteousness but that in Christ Jesus. Have real faith like our father Abraham, like Isaac we are children of covenant therefor, we fear not when the tide is up. Learn to open your bible and read what is written by the help of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, this week is declare blessed in the Name of the Lord. Hold on to the promises of God and believe God for Who He is.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
