Guess what??? I am always exalted on Fridays… you know as much as I know… Is PLC; is another way of putting our information – knowledge to practice – wisdom… Any information you have without practice is as same as not having it at all… so this session enables you and I to know where we need help… from the above … so we don’t beat or blame ourselves for failing rather we humble ourselves and go back to the Spirit of God to help us. Praise the Lord somebody!!!

So today… we will be examining the position of the Word of God in our lives… How often are you suppose to read, study, and meditate on the Word… can it be so too much or an overdose of it in anyone’s life….

In our text for today, Moses was telling the children of Israel what the Word of God stands for in their lives… Moses is telling them that God’s Word is not meaningless as it mighty seems to some especially those who are after other gods … which God has warmed them about…. In the book of John 6:63 in the New Testaments we saw Jesus repeating same thing….

It therefore means that you and I must make the Word priority in our lives… above prayer… we must seek to drink daily from the fountain of the Living Water … we search the scripture, read and mediate on it… in order words as a child of God you must be hungry and thirst after the God through His Word not through miracles and wonders…. And you must eat to satisfactory- the Living Word of God…. you must devour the word… as Jeremiah once said… (Jer 15:16).

Beloveth eating and chewing the Word of God must be a lifestyle of a child of God… nothing should excite you more than the Word of God you uncovered….nothing show delight you more than knowing that you are in God’s Will everyday of your life…

Because with this same Word you will comfort others who are lost or weary in the journey of life….those you suffer mishap or breakdown in the course of life’s journey….(2Cor.1:4 ) Praise the Name of the Lord….. Alleluia!

Beloveth, hear what God told Joshua when he was sorely afraid of the task He gave him….And God said to him from verse 7… be strong and courageous … Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do… Then in verse 8…  which is where are going “ Study this Book of instruction  continually. Mediate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it…. only then will you be prosper and succeed in all you do…. (Josh.1:6-8)

Beloveth… we can go on and on about the important of studying the Word of God without coming to an of it… but most importantly… is the fact that in the Word of God there is LIFE….

You can never go wrong when you live and sleep with the Word of God….you will never miss the mark…. You will never fall into sin… and above all you will a delightsome land for God’s work to flourish…. (Isa 58:12) Alleluia somebody!!!!!!!!!!!

come along with us for more:

“For they are not meaningless words to you but they are your life, and by them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”—Deuteronomy 32:47

It’s puzzling that so many Christians try to live the Christian life without reading their Bible, except for sporadic perusals of God’s Word, seeking a pithy thought for the day. The Word of God is not merely a source of helpful suggestions, preventative warnings, or inspirational thoughts: It is life itself!

God gathered the children of Israel at the edge of the Promised Land to review their pilgrimage with Him. They had spent forty years in a desert because their parents had not trusted God’s word. Their parents died without seeing the Promised Land because they had not believed God’s word.

Even the revered Moses was soon to leave them because he had not shown proper reverence for God’s word. Many of them knew those who had been put to death as a consequence of their disobedience to God’s word. Over the years God’s word had become the most important thing in the life of the Israelites.

God commanded His people to bind His words on their hearts, to teach them diligently to their children, and to regularly discuss them in their homes (Deut. 6:4–9). So essential was His word that it was to hold a prominent place in the daily lives of His people.

Our reverence for God’s Word is revealed not only by what we say but also by what we do. Spending more time reading and studying the words of people rather than the Word of God, reveals our hearts’ condition.

To blatantly disregard God’s Word is to reject life itself. To obey God’s Word is the surest way to experience all that God has in store for us.

Beloveth… the psalmist said you Word have I hidden in my heart that I may not sin against you…Ps 119:130….

Beloveth, if I may ask you how often do you read/study/mediated on God’s Word? From today’s study you can see not only the relevant of God’s Word in our lives we also see the consequences of not abiding in the instruction….

Apostle Paul  told timothy study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed , rightly diving the word of truth…. (2Tim.2:15).He also went further in 2Tim.3:15-17 to lay emphasis on he has been taught the Holy scripture from childhood… and the important of same for living and for ministry…

Beloveth…. the Word of God is life… the Word of God is a Sword… the Word of is our compass in the maze of life…. when you have it; like a sailor you will arrive the shore in peace and not in pieces…. May God guide our heart unto profiting through His Word…. In Jesus Name….

Love you so dearly…. We will not miss the mark… we will not miss our way in the Name of Jesus…. the Word of God will continue to be light unto our paths in Jesus Name…. (Ps 119:105)
