Beloved, good morning, how are you doing today? Hope you are enjoying God’s favour? Hope you are working in hand with the Holy Spirit? And I hope also you are taking good care and paying attention to your health as well as you are planning and positioning yourself for Divine lifting.

I have a question to ask though it seems as if it coming late but it rather late than never. “Do you have a Dream?” “Do you have a Vision?” if these things are lacking in your life as you read this piece I want to announce to you that “Divine Lifting” may have no foundation to stand (Ex 4:2).

You will agree with me that your “dream” is what keeps you alive and going. Your vision which is more like a dream but now have a mental  picture attached to how it can be achieve. Is important to note that if these two things are lacking in your quest what are you expecting to be “lifted.?” However when these two is cut and establish then the “Mission” will follow suit. Then I ask you again do you have a dream, any vision attached to it, then how do you want to achieve it?

Beloved, is also possible that these three are on ground but you are not thriving yet? The question you may be asking yourself now is what need I do? (Jn 3:4, 9) like Nicodeums you may be asking how can these be or what need you do?

Then the ministration of today will help you out. Though you have put everything in place but it lacks one thing and that thing is …. Please follow us to discover what it lacking:

It Lacks That

My speech and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a powerful demonstration by the Spirit.—1 Corinthians 2:4

Much of modern-day Christianity is lacking power and conviction because it lacks a close encounter with this aspect of the Spirit’s resources. If we are to experience the fullness of the Spirit in our lives, then we must open ourselves to everything He wants to give us. We must not pick and choose and say, “I’ll take this but not that,” for in order to be God’s true representatives in this world, we must know Him in all His fullness.

I watched a man on television one day examine a beautiful painting. He studied it for a few moments and said, “Its perspective is good, the coloring is fine, the tones are excellent, the idea behind it is to be commended, but it lacks … that.”

The same can be said of a lot of Christian activity in this generation. Our preaching is correct, our worship services are well-structured, our music is fine, our organization is superb, but it lacks one thing—the throbbing power of the Holy Spirit. Without the power of the Spirit in our midst, we are preaching unquickened truth—truth that doesn’t fall upon the soul with convicting, sobering, awakening, converting power. Our Christianity is not bad—it is just dull. The Holy Spirit, when accepted and obeyed, turns insipidity into inspiration, dullness into dancing, and mediocrity into magnificence. If we are not careful, we may find ourselves in court one of these days accused of contravening the Trade Descriptions Act!

Prayer

Ouch, Lord, this hurts! But I know from experience that You hurt me in order to heal me. Begin with me today, and set me on fire that others may catch it, too! Amen.

How did the Holy Spirit give Paul holy boldness?

What was Paul’s exhortation to the Ephesian church?

Have you discover what is lacking? Your plan and acts is lacking the Presence of the Holy Spirit. We have taken out time to discuss the third Person of the Trinity and His roles in our life apart from other things that has been mentioned that will facilitate the actualization of this month theme.

If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Personal Saviour, even if you have committed your work/plan into God’s Hand then something is lacking and that thing that is lacking is the “Presence of the Holy Spirit.” (Gen 1:3, Prov 16:3, Jn 6:63). You have to accept Jesus “Now”as your Lord and Saviour and then the Holy Spirit will brood on you and your endeavour right now!

But if you have accepted Jesus before now all you need “now” is the brooding of the Holy Spirit. If that is where you are at the moment then the Spirit of God will meet you right there and lift you up.

Beloved, let nothing be found lacking in us after today, let us abide with the Spirit of God as we go through our daily activities that way nothing will be lacking again. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
