Today we will be considering “Handling of Money”

How do you handle money?… The Bible said that the love of money is the root of all evil… which some in the eager to get rich has pierced themselves with many sorrow…(1Tim.6:10).

Beloveth… that means there is a way to handle money and it will not be a sin… and there another way to handle it and you will burn your fingers… so what do we do… how do we go about it and without piercing our self with sorrows?…

In the ministration below… we have a great man of God… draw up three Guidelines on the “Handling of money” Yes… the way you and I will handle money and it will not be a sin against us and before God… Praise the Name of the Lord….

Come along with us for more:

John Wesley’s Three Guidelines On The Handling Of Money

John Wesley (1703-1791), one of the great spiritual forces since the Reformation, addressed the delicate and vexing issue of money. I thought you would find his comments interesting and instructive:

The love of money, Wesley taught, is the root of all evil, but not the thing itself. The fault does not lie in the money, but in them that use it.

Guideline 1: “Gain all you can.

  • But not at the expense of life, health, or hurting our minds.
  • Without hurting your neighbor. We cannot study to ruin our neighbor’s trade, in order to advance our own.
  • By honest industry. Use all possible diligence in your calling. Lose no time.
  • By common sense, by using in your business all the understanding which God has given you… It is amazing to observe… how men run in the same dull track as their forefathers. It is a shame for a Christian not to improve upon them… You should be continuously learning… reading, reflecting, to do everything you have to do better today than you did yesterday.”

Guideline 2: “Save all you can.

Despise delicacy and variety, and be content with what plain nature requiresLay out nothing to gratify the pride of life, to gain the admiration or praise of menmen are expensive in diet, or apparelnot barely to please their appetitebut their vanity tooRather be content with the honor that cometh from God.

Guideline 3: “Give all you can.

He placed you here not as a proprietor, but as a steward; as such He entrusted you for a season, with goods of various kinds; but the sole property of these still rest in Him…

First, provide things needful for yourselfSecondly, provide these for your wife, your children, your servants, or any others who pertain to your householdIf there be an overplus still, as you have opportunity do good to them that are of the household of faith. If there be an overplus still, as you have opportunity, do good unto all men.‘” (Galatians 6:10)

Beloveth… this things are not as easy it said… especially with regards to money… people do a lot of vain things when it comes to money… however according to the teaching we have above… this is what God expects us to do…

Beloveth, the Bible can not be rewrite just because you cannot discipline yourself to live according… However, the Holy Spirit will continue to help us to grow in spirit, soul, and mind…

Beloveth… are you of them that love money?… I have dealt with people, some Christian that has not displayed good attitude towards money management…

Beloveth… do you love money to the extend you don’t care about God’s commandments, hurting others and dehumanize them because of money… you need to watch it… repent now and ask God to help you in the area of finance or money management…

O Lord we ask you to help us to see money as You see it… Make us good steward of the same… in Jesus Name… O Lord show us your mercy and guide us in the path of righteousness in Jesus Name…. Amen!!!

On this note beloveth, we declare this week open… and by God’s grace we will end it we have plenty testimonies in Jesus Name…
