Father, we thank You for Your wonders in our lives and situations. Thank You for the life you have given us, we are grateful and we are here to worship You and adorn Your Holy Name.

Receive all our praise, all our glory, all our worship, all our adorations in Jesus Name. Amen!

Beloved, thank God for another wonders He is set to perform in our lives this month, He never fail those that trust in Him. His word are yea and Amen. It must perform that which it was sent to perform. As the cloud gets thick and let down rain; so is His promise that goes forth from His mouth will never return to Him void.

If I may ask you, is your heart made of flesh or stone? Our Father is interested in your wellbeing and His promises must fulfill your expected end. But we sometimes hinders God from being God. How do I mean, someone is asking?

Beloved, we are serving a Living God, Whose Word will never fail, is not by chance that God makes His promises, He does not depend on circumstance nor events or economy of the state where you are located. God’s kingdom is on high and at His command everything bows including you and I, principalities, powers and rulers of the dark world, the angels in heaven and the saints on earth. O praise the Lord somebody!!!

His Word is like a fire; His Word is like a Hammer, it cuts asunder the brass gate and iron bars. The Word of God is two edged sword and must accomplish that which it is sent to do. He can never lie, neither will He repent of what He has promised to do for us.

How do we miss all these promises of God? Aside our doubting the Faithfulness of God and His sovereignty, we have in our message today conditions of which you and I can deprive ourselves the promises of God through His living Word.

Come let us read together for great revelation:

So they said to each other, “Weren’t our hearts ablaze within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining the Scriptures to us?”—Luke 24:32

Jesus joins those who are earnestly seeking Him. Two men walked along the road to Emmaus discussing the confusing events that had just occurred in Jerusalem. They thought they had understood the happenings of their day, but the death of Jesus had left them disoriented to God and His activity in their world. They had hoped that Jesus was the Messiah, but His death had left them perplexed and discouraged. They needed answers.

God reads the heart and knows the honest pursuit of His will by His children. Jesus drew near to these men, walked with them, and opened their minds to what the Scriptures said about Him and about the events of their day. As Jesus was speaking, their hearts burned within them! As they listened to Jesus relate the Scriptures to what they were experiencing, they knew in their hearts that they were hearing God’s truth. Their doubts vanished, excitement overcame them, and they raced back to share the truth with their friends!

If you become bewildered by circumstances in your life, Jesus can reorient you to Himself through the Scriptures just as He did for these two men. From your human perspective, the situation may be confusing and discouraging. It takes the presence of Christ to open your eyes to the truth of the Scriptures. Have your circumstances confused you? You need Jesus to give you His perspective. Once you’ve heard from Him, you’ll be like these two men, excited to join God in what He is doing around you and eager to include others in the experience.

Remember our theme for the month “is Great encounter” I pray for you child of God, you must encounter God specially this month in Jesus Name. A new heart and a new Spirit, the Lord promised must find expression in your live in Jesus Name.

When Jesus encountered these ones on their way to Emmaus, where did they feel the sensation? In their heart, the heart felt the presence of the Jesus as he reveal the Word afresh for them, praise the Lord! A heart dead in sin cannot experience Christ that way, only a new heart; a heart of flesh will see and recognize the living Jesus.

Let us still tag along with the Holy Spirit to discover more for ourselves. Are still there, beloved? :

Here Are Four Ways We Can Rob Ourselves Of God’s Blessing

  1. Judge ourselves:

“I do not even examine myself (literally: Judge, try, condemn)The one who examines me is the Lordwho will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of mens hearts… ” ( 1 Corinthians 4:3-5)

Paul did, however, “examine” his heart, but the element of self-condemnation was absent:

“Test (Literally: assay, scrutinize) yourselves to see if you are in the faith.” (2 Corinthians 13:5)

  1. Condemn ourselves:

“There isno condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

“God is infinitely greater than our hearts ( in not condemning us). When we realize this, our hearts no longer accuse us(and) we may have the utmost confidence in Gods presence.” (1 John 3:20-22 – Phillips)

  1. Not accept His unconditional love:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness .God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Jeremiah 31:3; Romans 5:8)

  1. Not accept His invitation to minister to us:

“Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to youHe will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.” (Isaiah 30:18, 19).

God knows and loves you, warts and all. By judging or condemning yourself, you denigrate the great grace of God. So relax in Him and drink in His unfathomable love.

Beloved, how do you judge yourself, condemn yourself, not accepting His unconditional love nor accept His invite to minister to you?

Search your heart and pray to the Holy Spirit to help you to discover ways you are consciously or unconsciously doing those things that were mentioned above. As you discover how, tell the Holy Spirit to help you to accept the promises of God in your live without a second thought but rather be of this attitude “Has He said it; He will fulfill it”. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
