Angels From the Realms of Glory

Angels from the realms of glory,

Wing your flight o’er all the earth;

Ye who sang creation’s story

Now proclaim Messiah’s birth

Refrain

Come and worship, come and worship,

Worship Christ, the newborn King.

Shepherds, in the field abiding,

Watching o’er your flocks by night,

God with us us now residing;

Yonder shines the infant light

Refrain

Sages, leave your contemplations,

Brighter visions beam afar;

Seek the great Desire of nations;

Ye have seen His natal star.

Angel we have heard on high

Angel we have heard on high

Sweetly singing o’er the plain,

And the mountain in reply

Echoing their joyous strains

Refrain!

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Shepherd, why this jubilee?

Why your joyous strains prolong?

What the gladsome tidings be

Which inspire your heavenly song?

Refrain

Come to Bethlehem and see

Christ whose birth the angel sing;

Come, adore on bended knee,

Christ the, the newborn King.

Refrain

See Him in a manger laid,

Whom the choirs of angels Praise;

Mary, Joseph, tend your aid,

While our hearts in love we raise.

Refrain

Bring A Torch, Jeanette Isabella

Bring a torch, Jeanette Isabella

Bring a torch to the cradle and run;

It is Jesus, good folk of the village

Christ is born and Mary’s calling:

Ah! Ah! Beautiful is the mother

Ah! Ah! Beautiful is her Son!

It is wrong when the Child is sleeping

It is wrong to talk so loud

Silence all, as you gather around Him,

Lest your noise should waken Jesus.

Hush! Hush! See how fast He slumbers!

Hush! Hush! See how fast He sleeps!

Softly to the little stable,

Softly for a moment come.

Look and see how charming is Jesus,

Dressed in white, His cheeks are rosy!

Hush! Hush! See how the Child is sleeping!

Hush! Hush! See how He smiles in dreams!

Joy To The World

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare Him room,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven and nature sing,

And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!

Let men their songs employ;

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,

Nor thorns infest the ground;

He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found,

Far as the curse is found,

Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love.

O Come, All Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,

O come ye, O come ye, to Bethlehem.

Come and behold Him, born the King of angels;

Refrain

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.

True God of true God, Light from Light Eternal,

Lo, He shuns not the Virgin’s womb;

Son of the Father, begotten, not created;

Refrain

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation;

O sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!

Glory to God, all glory in the highest;

Refrain

See how the shepherds, summoned to His cradle,

Leaving their flocks, draw nigh to gaze;

We too will thither bend our joyful footsteps;

Refrain

Lo! star led chieftains, Magi, Christ adoring,

Offer Him incense, gold, and myrrh;

We to the Christ Child bring our hearts’ oblations.

Refrain

Child, for us sinners poor and in the manger,

We would embrace Thee, with love and awe;

Who would not love Thee, loving us so dearly?

Refrain

Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;

Jesus, to Thee be glory given;

Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing.

Refrain

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night,

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon virgin mother and Child.

Holy Infant, so tender and mild,

Sleep in heavenly peace,

Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night,

Shepherds quake at the sight;

Glories stream from heaven afar,

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!

Christ the Savior is born,

Christ the Savior is born!

Silent night, holy night,

Son of God, love’s pure light;

Radiant beams from Thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace,

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

Silent night, holy night

Wondrous star, lend thy light;

With the angels let us sing,

Alleluia to our King;

Christ the Savior is born,

Christ the Savior is born!

Hark!  The Herald Angels Sing

Hark! The herald angels sing,

“Glory to the newborn King;

Peace on earth, and mercy mild,

God and sinners reconciled!”

Joyful, all ye nations rise,

Join the triumph of the skies;

With th’angelic host proclaim,

“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

Refrain

Hark! the herald angels sing,

“Glory to the newborn King!”

Christ, by highest heav’n adored;

Christ the everlasting Lord;

Late in time, behold Him come,

Offspring of a virgin’s womb.

Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;

Hail th’incarnate Deity,

Pleased with us in flesh to dwell,

Jesus our Emmanuel.

Refrain

Hail the heav’nly Prince of Peace!

Hail the Sun of Righteousness!

Light and life to all He brings,

Ris’n with healing in His wings.

Mild He lays His glory by,

Born that man no more may die.

Born to raise the sons of earth,

Born to give them second birth.

Refrain

Come, Desire of nations, come,

Fix in us Thy humble home;

Rise, the woman’s conqu’ring Seed,

Bruise in us the serpent’s head.

Now display Thy saving power,

Ruined nature now restore;

Now in mystic union join

Thine to ours, and ours to Thine.

Refrain

Adam’s likeness, Lord, efface,

Stamp Thine image in its place:

Second Adam from above,

Reinstate us in Thy love.

Let us Thee, though lost, regain,

Thee, the Life, the inner man:

O, to all Thyself impart,

Formed in each believing heart.

Refrain

Beloved, I am rejoicing that Jesus conquered satan, I am rejoicing, I am rejoicing. I am rejoicing that Jesus conquer satan, I am rejoicing Praise the Lord!

It was in birth that Jesus conquered satan before Calvary, do you agree with me? Jesus being made man became fully God and fully man. What a mystery that satan could not comprehend, he devised means to make the King of glory bow before him but unknowing to him that Jesus kingdom was not of this world, what a mystery indeed.

He wanted to break the heart of Jesus by making His most trustworthy disciple to denial Him and another to betray Him but little did he know that Jesus lives in eternity and have seen that coming less he was not disappointed but restored Peter to love and tend the sheep while the son of prediction hung himself according to scripture.

Beloved, hope you enjoyed the Christmas songs that came your way, the season is here with us, Emmanuel- God with us, come let us see why we must give Him Thanks always:

Ezekiel 41:8-43:12, Psalm 136:1-9, Proverbs 29:10-12, 1 John 1:1-2:11

Logically Necessary

Give thanks to the God of gods. His love is eternal.—Psalm 136:2

The Trinity is implicit in the whole Bible from the beginning, though it might not be evident to someone unfamiliar with the Book who started reading at Genesis until they had reached the books of the New Testament.

Ian Macpherson, in his book The Faith Once Delivered, says that when the island now known as Trinidad was discovered by Columbus, he thought at first it was three islands, as all he could see were three hills silhouetted against the sky. When he got closer, however, he found that what he had seen was not three islands at all but just one island. From a distance it looked like three, but close up it was only one. Hence he named the island “Trinidad”—Spanish for “Trinity.”

That is the kind of experience you get when reading the Bible. At first it seems to be talking about three Gods, but as you go deeper into the Scriptures you discover there are not three Gods but one—one God in three Persons.

It must be noted, though, that it is not only in isolated texts that one encounters the doctrine of the Trinity. The very concept of God’s love presupposes plurality in the Godhead. Love, to be love, must have an object. Self-love is love’s opposite. Since God is eternal love, He must have had objects of eternal affection. The objects of His affection were the Son and the Spirit. The doctrine of the Trinity, therefore, is not only theologically but logically necessary to an understanding of the nature of the Deity.

Prayer

Father, help me understand that a being fully comprehended could not be God. In Your unfathomable depths all my thoughts are drowned. Symbolically I remove my shoes, for I sense I stand on holy ground. Amen.

What did Paul confirm to the Ephesians and Corinthians?

What was the psalmist’s conviction?

Yes! The doctrine of Trinity is logically necessary to an understanding of the nature of God. Praise the Lord. we have three person in one God not three gods. Praise the Lord.

God has done much for us and we here again to say thank You Father. Thank You for Your goodness and mercy all through the year, it was a glorious year, seeing God walking in the midst of men and men see Him not is the most unfortunate thing that ever happened.

Even when Jesus came to the earth, the Jews up till now is still expecting the Messiah that was promised to them while Jesus have lived, died and resurrected from death and we looking forward to His second coming. May we ever be grateful to God Who gave us reason for eternal life. Glory be to Him forever and ever in Jesus Name.

Beloved, have count your blessings and named them one by one? The reason why you must count them and name them is to constantly remind yourself of God’s goodness else satan make you to be ungrateful for one thing you think you have not received from God disregarding so many He has done. Praise the Lord!

Beloved, I woke up this morning with a feeling that wasn’t right and as I go before the Lord in prayer, my eyes were opened and I saw the trick of satan.

Beloved, blessed the man who God is his God. I saw what the devil was springing up my heart and I quickly repent of my sin. He was trying to sow a seed of ungratefulness in my spirit, thank God for the Spirit of God that quickly brought to my notice what is going to happen if am not careful when He directed me to read Psalms 78.

Beloved, this psalms was recount of how the children of Israelite missed it while sojourning from Egypt to the promised land, in spite of what God did for them, they think it was impossible for God to spread tables in the wilderness and God did just that but immediately followed it with destruction, that generation did not set their feet into the promised land.

Beloved, God is a loving Father but also a consuming fire, we must be careful how we live our life. God hate among other things unbelief, it is a sin of rebellion.

Is that your case this morning, for the Spirit of God to bring it up, it means that there are a number of us who are not counting what He has done but are only complaining about what He is yet to do. If that is where you are, I beg you to repent of it now, go to God and plead for His mercy, ask Him to forgive you all your sin and be grateful to the many things He did, even your life is a gift, hope you have not forgotten?

Yes! your life is a gift, I will suggest you read the whole of that Psalms so as to have a better understanding Praise Jesus. Alleluia! Amen!

Don’t  forget to practice His Presence while you are attending to your daily chores, see the baby Jesus as He is in the manger, so lowly and so pure, can it be said of you?

See you on Monday, have a weekend with resounding sounds of Joy within and Joy without. Praise the Lord!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
