I will sing unto the Lord a joyful song, I will Praise His Name for my God is good. I will sing unto the Lord a cheerful song, I will Praise His Name for the Lord is good. // Praising the Lord always, Praising the Lord always, Praising the Lord with all our might, Praising the Lord with all our might always, alleluia my Lord is good, alleluia, my Lord is good, alleluia my Lord is good is good to me…..2x!

Yes! o Lord is good to us, glory be to His Name on high. Who is like unto Thee, O Lord, who is like unto Thee, o Lord, among the gods who is like Thee, You are glorious in holiness fearful in Praising doing wonders alleluia. Father, we thank You, we bless Your Holy Name, we give You Praise adoration and honour, we magnify forever and ever. Thank You Jesus! thank You Lord! blessed be Your Name forever.

We come to with confidence that You are our Father and You have promised to do us good and not evil. Your thought towards are good not evil, your outstretched Hand all we need to meet our situation. Father, we give You Praise, we give You honour, thank You for You will yet do that which only You can do. Praise the Name of the Lord!

Beloved, we are serving a Living God and He works in the affairs of men to bring about His glory and honour. Almighty Father receive all the glory, King of kings receive all the honour, my Redeemer we give You adoration for you are God in Jesus Name.

Beloved, the topic before us is a difficult one to treat. I receive strength from above to be able to say only what will give glory to God. it is human to be human but it is divine to always do the “will” of God. Oftentimes we see ourselves in a place of conflicts- our desire and the will of God. and as human we pray, fight, manipulate to bring to past our desires.

However, we forget that whatever we will be has been decided from the foundation of world, before we were conceived and create a lot of pleasure in us to become what we desire and not what we have been configured to be. And we also forget like a maze we are to form part of it to be complete else they will be endless search.

Beloved, I will like us to consider the position of Jesus in the topic at hand; probably it will help us to understand it faster than otherwise.

He was offered opportunity by satan to inherit all the earth but Jesus knew that satan has no such power giving him by God therefore he rebuke and said, “10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Matthew 4:10 (KJV) .   How we will have jump at such an offer if we were in his shoes but the Word made it clear that we have inheritance with the Father which is higher and greater than whatever we will be offered by satan in this world. Thank God that Jesus is the truth and cannot be deceived.

Secondly, Jesus knew His mission before he came down in flesh and was bent on accomplishing it. Oftentimes, we have deviated from the mission we are sent on just by side attraction that will lead us no way. But Jesus knew the mind of His Father and was fixed on fulfilling it.

Beloved, can we like Jesus ask God that always have His way and may His will ever be done in our lives in Jesus Name. This is the prayer you and I must present to God daily as we go through our chores for the day. “Father, help me to do Your will.” “Father, help me to be in Your will for me in this matter.” “Father, may Your will be done on concerning this issue.”

If only we can have understanding of being in God’s will, we will at the end have a deeper understanding that it is always for our good. But it is always at the “end.” Why at the “end”?

It is because we do not know the “end” from the “beginning.” But interesting we have a Father who knows and yet we are reluctant to follow Him. Father help us we pray Thee; to always chose Your will over our will in Jesus Name.

Join as we discuss many ways we reluctantly follow the will of God as many do but that is not following God’s will. Come on with me as I will like you to see it by yourself:

Deuteronomy 5:1-6:25, Psalm 40:6-10, Proverbs 10:9-11, Luke 6:12-36

                          Louder Than “Amen”

I delight to do Your will, my God; Your instruction lives within me.—Psalm 40:8

To pray the words “Your will be done” sometimes creates a conflict in us, particularly when we know that God’s will is the opposite of what we ourselves want. We must consider whose will is to have precedence—ours or God’s.

There are some Christians who pray, “Your will be done,” but they do it with an attitude of rebellion and resentment. They believe that they cannot escape the inevitable, and they become angry about it. They say the words “Your will be done” almost through clenched teeth. Other people say the words with an attitude of passive resignation. They say, “Your will be done,” but what they mean is something like this: “Lord, I’m not very happy about the way things are turning out, but I suppose You know best. So I’ll go along with it, and I’ll try hard to believe it’s for the best.”

The proper attitude to the will of God, and the goal for which we should aim, is one of rejoicing. It’s not easy to arrive at such an attitude, I know, but nevertheless we must have it before us as the desired end.

David, as we see in the passage before us today, prayed this way. If we can cultivate this attitude as our normal and characteristic reaction to everything that happens around us—sorrow, disappointment, disillusionment, frustration, disaster, loss, bereavement—then such a spirit is more than a match for anything. As someone has said: “The Hallelujah of triumph is louder than the Amen of resignation.” It is!

Prayer

God, help me drop my anchor into the depths of Your eternal love and ride out my storms in the assurance that You are willing my highest good. Help me to accept it joyously. For Jesus’ sake. Amen.

Ps 100; Jn 5:30; Eph 6:6; Heb 13:21

What is the psalmist’s exhortation?

What should be our heart attitude?

To be in the will of God, we must make obedience our lifestyle. Without obedience, you and I will not be in the will of God. Secondly, we must be responsive to be in the will of God. If says now, you must move “immediately” else we will never be in His will, in other words we must be “prompt” in our actions, Praise the Lord!

Jesus demonstrated this to us during the wedding feast at Cana of Galilee. First the mother told Him and she also instructed the servants what to do, “whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.” Is an instruction, and when His mother told Him about the wine, Jesus responded that His time is not yet come, but He obeyed the mother because it is expedite He do so else the groom will be put to shame. The servant also obeyed Him when He instructed them to draw it, they did. That is the miracle we are talking about being obedient to the instruction of God without argument.

Beloved, are going to ask God to give us the power to obey His will for us? Is so important and also expedite we do same as we saw Jesus did both at Cana of Galilee.

May God give us power to always do His will as we pray today in Jesus Name.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
