Lord!2x How Excellent is Thy Name O! Lord… How Excellent is Thy Name O! Lord…How Excellent is Thy Name O! Lord… How Excellent is Thy Name O! Lord… How Excellent is Thy Name O! Lord… How Excellent is Thy Name O! Lord…

Excellent Jehovah we worship and adore Your Holy Name…Alleluia to You Father … Thank for the Great and Wonderful things You do in our lives and situations…Almighty is Thy Name…be thou exalted forever and ever in Jesus Name.…

Glory honour power and majesty be unto Thee Om Lord! Alleluia! Glory honour power and majesty be unto Thee Om Lord! Alleluia!

Thank Father what You are going to do today in our various endeavours Thou will yet make Name for Thyself in Jesus Name…O God that answereth by fire arise and take Your place in our amidst and do that which only can do in Jesus Name….

Beloveth…good morning…is prayer time ….are you ready? Jesus prayed and commanded us also to pray… for the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much….Lk 6:12, Lk 18:1, Jas 5:16.

So when we pray we are simply do the “Will” of God in our lives, Amen. when you pray, you covet God’s Presence, the Spirit of God ministers to your spirit, you feed from the throne of mercy, you catch revelations that are not common to men, you gain victories over circumstances and situations. Your hands are train for wars, your tongue speaks as God’s oracle ….you can to the list as it is unending…Praise the Lord!

Beloveth…we are in the season of love so to speak….today we are will considering our love for God our Maker… Do you love God? Can your spirit bears witness within you that you love God? Can people around you attest to that?

How often do you do dwell in the Presence of God? If announce to someone I love you and he or she hardly see or hear from you, can the person assuredly say I know you love me… same with God…if you claim you love God and you cannot spare an hour to be in His Presence you are not speaking the truth…

If you spends time with God…His light will rest on you and reveal to you areas where you are not living right…of course the right to do is to repent and ask for forgiveness and walk far away from such but when you run far from God or hid yourself while in His Presence you will not receive or hear from Him therefore thick darkness will overshadow such an individual, God forbids…

Beloveth, God’s Presence helps us counts His many blessings and obey all His commandments….love commands obedience, that our topic today? Do you believe it? When you love, you try to show same by caring and doing only what your lover like else the relationship will not last… do you agree with that?

Jesus told “if you love me, keep my commandments…beloveth there is a reward attach… “And I will pray the Father, and He shall gave you another Comforter, that He may guide with you forever… He also ask Peter after His resurrection “Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?….Feed my lambs…not once but thrice…

Beloveth, this is simply telling us that love makes us to go extra miles  for the one we love despite their inadequacy…Jesus demonstrated that to His disciples and to the entire world dying on the Cross of Calvary…having that background in our minds, let us consider the teaching below:

“The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”—John 14:21

Obedience to God’s commands comes from your heart. When you begin struggling to obey God, that is a clear indication that your heart has shifted away from Him. Some claim: “I love God, but I’m having difficulty obeying Him in certain areas of my life.” That is a spiritual impossibility. If I were to ask you, “Do you love God?” you might easily respond, “Yes!” However, if I were to ask you, “Are you obeying God?” would you answer yes as quickly? Yet I would be asking you the same question!

Genuine love for God leads to wholehearted obedience. If you told your spouse that you loved her at certain times but that you struggled to love her at others, your relationship would be in jeopardy. Yet we assume that God is satisfied with occasional love or partial obedience. He is not.

Obedience without love is legalism. Obedience for its own sake can be nothing more than perfectionism, which leads to pride. Many conscientious Christians seek to cultivate discipline in their lives to be more obedient to Christ. As helpful as spiritual disciplines can be, they never can replace your love for God. Love is the discipline. God looks beyond your godly habits, beyond your moral lifestyle, and beyond your church involvement and focuses His penetrating gaze upon your heart.

Has your worship become empty and routine? Have you lost your motivation to read God’s Word? Are you experiencing spiritual lethargy? Is your prayer life reduced to a ritual? These are symptoms of a heart that has shifted away from God. Return to your first love. Love is the greatest motivation for a relationship with God and for serving Him.

Did you read the sentence…love is the greatest motivation for a relationship with God and for serving Him…

Beloveth now we know what the love  for God can do in our lives …let us pray that Holy Spirit will help us and guide us to the ways of obedience and love of God…lat us ask for the grace to truly love and serve God not out of compulsion but love in Jesus Name…

Father in heaven O God…in your mercy…send your light to our hearts and let is ignite fire of love in Jesus Name…help us to be obedient to you and serve you with all our heart amen!

Let us pray….

Remain blessed in the Lord.
