Thank You for gifts, healing, protections that can only be you, blessed be Thy Name O Lord! let the living water flow over my soul, let the Holy Spirit come and take control, of every situation that troubles my soul, all my cares and burden unto Thee I come. Jesus, Jesus Jesus, calling Him Father, Father, Father, Father, calling Spirit, Spirit, Spirit, Spirit.\
Beloved, what a wonderful and glorious God we serve. Our God is good, so good and wonder. How precious is our God, glory be to His Name on high. This week has been good to me and I hope same is your testimony too? We serve a God of “suddenly” He is also faithful there is none to likened unto Him.
Every Word of the Lord is finding expression in our lives and situation. He is indeed a faithful God, He faileth not. His Word is Yea and Amen! Great is our God, He is greatly to be Praise. I know and I believe there power in His Name, at the mention of His Name every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord.
Why do you fret and fidget at a slight provocation? Why are afraid that situation will over power you? Why is satan lying and deceiving you that God cannot handle it? Have you forgotten that our God is Almighty. His Name is Impossible, there is nothing too difficult for Him, Excellent is His Name, beloved He that called you is ever faithful, He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Why are afraid what a mere mortal can do to you? He is up in the morning not knowing what his evening will be. His boosting will come to nought as the Lord defends you and make a show shame of he that brags against you.
Beloved, by the ministration of today, we are advise to treat men as men and God as God and never forget that he that calleth you is faithful, he will never leave you nor forsake you.
“I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; and forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?.” Isa. 51:12, 13
Let the text itself be taken as the portion for today. There is no need to enlarge upon it. Trembling one, read it, believe it, feed on it, and plead it before the Lord. He whom you fear is only a man after all; while He who promises to comfort you is God, your Maker, and the Creator of Heaven and earth. Infinite comfort more than covers a very limited danger.
“Where is the fury of the oppressor?” It is in the Lord’s hand. It is only the fury of a dying creature; fury which will end as soon as the breath is gone from the nostril. Why, then, should we stand in awe of one who is as frail as ourselves? Let us not dishonor our God by making a god of puny man.
We can make an idol of a man by rendering to him excessive fear as well as by paying him inordinate love. Let us treat men as men, and God as God; and then we shall go calmly on in the path of duty, fearing the Lord, and fearing nobody else.
Did you read that you are commanded to fear only God and not man.
“Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24
Heaven is a place where we shall never sin; where we shall cease our constant watch against an indefatigable enemy, because there will be no tempter to ensnare our feet. There the wicked cease from troubling, and the weary are at rest. Heaven is the “undefiled inheritance”; it is the land of perfect holiness, and therefore of complete security. But do not the saints even on earth sometimes taste the joys of blissful security?
The doctrine of God’s word is, that all who are in union with the Lamb are safe; that all the righteous shall hold on their way; that those who have committed their souls to the keeping of Christ shall find Him a faithful and immutable preserver. Sustained by such a doctrine we can enjoy security even on earth; not that high and glorious security which renders us free from every slip, but that holy security which arises from the sure promise of Jesus that none who believe in Him shall ever perish, but shall be with Him where He is. Believer, let us often reflect with joy on the doctrine of the perseverance of the saints, and honour the faithfulness of our God by a holy confidence in Him.
May our God bring home to you a sense of your safety in Christ Jesus! May He assure you that your name is graven on His hand; and whisper in your ear the promise, “Fear not, I am with thee.” Look upon Him, the great Surety of the covenant, as faithful and true, and, therefore, bound and engaged to present you, the weakest of the family, with all the chosen race, before the throne of God; and in such a sweet contemplation you will drink the juice of the spiced wine of the Lord’s pomegranate, and taste the dainty fruits of Paradise.
You will have an antepast of the enjoyments which ravish the souls of the perfect saints above, if you can believe with unstaggering faith that “faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.”
Beloved, did you hear that, faithful is He that called you, He will also do it. So don’t give up on God for He will not give up on you He is able.
Remain blessed in Lord.
