Ye Looked for Much, and, Lo,…

0

Blessed be the Name of the Lord, He is worthy to be praise and adorn, Lord will lift our holy hands in one accord, singing blessed be the Name x3 of the Lord. Holy, Most Holy is the Lord God 3x. Holy, Most Holy is the Lord God, Most High.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Goodness in our lives all through the month of November. We are grateful for Your diverse intervention too numerous to mention here. Thank You Lord for Your mercies endures forever.  Glory be to Your Name forever and ever.

Beloved, what a wonderful time we had in God’s presence all through the month. Hope you have testimonies for His “Divine Intervention” to share with us, please feel free to send in your testimony to our email address or through the web address just by clicking on comment.

Thank God the month of November is rounding up today but not until it has delivered to us the every package planned out for us by God in this month.

It will be worthy to note why sometimes we may desire God’s blessings and intervention and see none. The reasons are not far fetch, below are the reason why we receive little or nothing from the Lord even when our God is a fountain; we drink from a cistern:

“Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.” Haggai 1:9

Churlish souls stint their contributions to the ministry and missionary operations, and call such saving good economy; little do they dream that they are thus impoverishing themselves. Their excuse is that they must care for their own families, and they forget that to neglect the house of God is the sure way to bring ruin upon their own houses.

Our God has a method in providence by which He can succeed our endeavours beyond our expectation, or can defeat our plans to our confusion and dismay; by a turn of His hand He can steer our vessel in a profitable channel, or run it aground in poverty and bankruptcy. It is the teaching of Scripture that the Lord enriches the liberal and leaves the miserly to find out that withholding tendeth to poverty.

In a very wide sphere of observation, I have noticed that the most generous Christians of my acquaintance have been always the most happy, and almost invariably the most prosperous. I have seen the liberal giver rise to wealth of which he never dreamed; and I have as often seen the mean, ungenerous churl descend to poverty by the very parsimony by which he thought to rise.

Men trust good stewards with larger and larger sums, and so it frequently is with the Lord; He gives by cartloads to those who give by bushels. Where wealth is not bestowed the Lord makes the little much by the contentment which the sanctified heart feels in a portion of which the tithe has been dedicated to the Lord.

Selfishness looks first at home, but godliness seeks first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, yet in the long run selfishness is loss, and godliness is great gain. It needs faith to act towards our God with an open hand, but surely He deserves it of us; and all that we can do is a very poor acknowledgment of our amazing indebtedness to His goodness.

Beloved, is so sad how we respond to calls of kingdom advancement. As a ministry, we devote time to bring your way messages that teaches us practical way to live which we hardly from the pulpit where we give our tithes and offerings.

The people of the world knows how to promote the works of darkness but what is happening to the children of God, those who should light up all the dark places? The responses we are getting is not encouraging but we are not deterred. God will prosper the works of our hand and the gate of hell will not prevail against it. God will send His help and He will never be late I believe. Jesus remains our only friend that faileth not:

“All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.” Ecclesiastes 1:7

Everything sublunary is on the move, time knows nothing of rest. The solid earth is a rolling ball, and the great sun himself a star obediently fulfilling its course around some greater luminary. Tides move the sea, winds l stir the airy ocean, friction wears the rock: change and death rule everywhere.

The sea is not a miser’s storehouse for a wealth of waters, for as by one force the waters flow into it, by another they are lifted from it. Men are born but to die: everything is hurry, worry, and vexation of spirit.

Friend of the unchanging Jesus, what a joy it is to reflect upon thy changeless heritage; thy sea of bliss which will be for ever full, since God Himself shall pour eternal rivers of pleasure into it. We seek an abiding city beyond the skies, and we shall not be disappointed. The passage before us may well teach us gratitude. Father Ocean is a great receiver, but he is a generous distributor.

What the rivers bring him he returns to the earth in the form of clouds and rain. That man is out of joint with the universe who takes all but makes no return. To give to others is but sowing seed for ourselves. He who is so good a steward as to be willing to use his substance for his Lord, shall be entrusted with more.

Friend of Jesus, art thou rendering to Him according to the benefit received? Much has been given thee, what is thy fruit? Hast thou done all? Canst thou not do more? To be selfish is to be wicked. Suppose the ocean gave up none of its watery treasure, it would bring ruin upon our race.

God forbid that any of us should follow the ungenerous and destructive policy of living unto ourselves. Jesus pleased not Himself. All fulness dwells in Him, but of His fulness have all we received. O for Jesus’ spirit, that henceforth we may live not unto ourselves!

Beloved, may we have a heart that is generous towards God, so that we will naturally draw God’s blessings to ourselves. Praise the Lord. If still want to support us, the account number is on website under the sponsorship column.

We pray that God will grant us grace to enter the new month. The month of our Lord Jesus. Wow! See you then!

Remain blessed in the Lord

His thoughts towards you are good and not evil. To give you an expected end. I have my expected end; you also have, beloved, in God’s Word will it all come to pass. Hold on; don’t give up!

Beloved, do you know what the date is today? Have you experienced God’s intervention in your situation or you are at edge of breaking down and out? Are celebrating already or there are still issues here and there? If the latter is your answer, not to worry, today’s message will special meet that need and you will cruise though this month and beyond in a grand style.

The package of God’s intervention had been delivered but you need to look beyond the physical; tap into the Spiritual with your faith eye and you will see God working out your salvation for you.

The victory is already won, don’t be afraid again, Start walking in your miracles. Praise through those challenges and you will see satan on the floor, in its accursed state (snake). Do you know that no matter how tall and huge a snake looks it will never walk; it will only crawl?

Beloved, your case is different, your hinge are made strong and your horn hast the Lord exalted like that of a unicorn, you are anointed with fresh oil. Beloved the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

A sound mind; the mind of Christ. Therefore, the enemy whoever they are, in whatever form must not get the best of you. C-o-m-e—on let’s read on:

Ever Wonder If The “Enemy” Is Getting The Best Of Us?

Chaos and societal disintegration seem to reign.

Good people are squashed as scoundrels cruise past us unscathed.

Natural disasters and wars crush innumerable innocents, while the exploitive, wily, and manipulative rule, imbibing on life’s delectables.

A rational observer would conclude that the forces of Light are losing to the forces of the Darkness.

Prior to the cross, Jesus willingly surrendered to a lynch mob, to be strung up, mocked and murdered. As the inquisition began, He commented, “This is your hour when darkness reigns.” (Luke 22:53)

How often have you personally felt that this was your hour when Darkness reigns, as you struggled with:

  • Strained or broken relationships
  • Frustration over insoluble issues at home or the office
  • Temptation and sin

If we are to win in our epic battle between good and evil, we need to view it through Jesus’ eyes, because He is the One who understands that the Enemy has already been defeated and the victory has been secured. As the preacher said, “Today is Friday, (crucifixion day) but Sunday is coming!” (Resurrection Day).

The truth is that Sunday has already come and the victory has already been secured:

Paul was sent to the lost “to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” (Acts 26:18) (See Luke 4:18; 2 Corinthians 4:4, 6; Ephesians 1:18; 5:8; 1 Thessalonians 5:4-8)

[Christ] has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves.” (Colossians 1:13) (See John 8:31, 32; Romans 6:17-22; Hebrews 2:14; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 John 2:8)

“Satan, who leads the whole world astray… was hurled to the earth… ” (Revelation 12:9b) (See Isaiah 14:12)

Be reassured by Christ’s encouragement that “in this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the worldbecause the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (John 16:33b; 1 John 4:4b) (See Romans 8:35-37; Galatians 1:4; 1 John 5:4; Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26; 3:5, 12, 22; 12:11)

So today, will you choose to rest in the fact that because Sunday has already come, the victory has been won for you? Will you this very moment choose to appropriate and enjoy His triumph?

There is a user of this devotional, you wept bitterly last night. You are at the verge of giving up, you have planned out what to do though not godly, the Lord is speaking to you, “don’t go that way because it will hurt you badly, though it is looking like a way out but you know the end thereof will spell doom.” You will end up bitter and frustrated. The Lord is saying “I have done many miracles in the past hold me on this I will yet do it. Beloved count your past blessing and be encouraged.” This next message will help you out. Let’s consider it together:

“Evening wolves.” Habakkuk 1:8

While preparing the present volume, this particular expression recurred to me so frequently, that in order to be rid of its constant importunity I determined to give a page to it. The evening wolf, infuriated by a day of hunger, was fiercer and more ravenous than he would have been in the morning.

May not the furious creature represent our doubts and fears after a day of distraction of mind, losses in business, and perhaps ungenerous tauntings from our fellow men? How our thoughts howl in our ears, “Where is now thy God?” How voracious and greedy they are, swallowing up all suggestions of comfort, and remaining as hungry as before.

Great Shepherd, slay these evening wolves, and bid Thy sheep lie down in green pastures, undisturbed by insatiable unbelief. How like are the fiends of hell to evening wolves, for when the flock of Christ are in a cloudy and dark day, and their sun seems going down, they hasten to tear and to devour. They will scarcely attack the Christian in the daylight of faith, but in the gloom of soul conflict they fall upon him. O Thou who hast laid down Thy life for the sheep, preserve them from the fangs of the wolf.

False teachers who craftily and industriously hunt for the precious life, devouring men by their false-hoods, are as dangerous and detestable as evening wolves. Darkness is their element, deceit is their character, destruction is their end. We are most in danger from them when they wear the sheep’s skin. Blessed is he who is kept from them, for thousands are made the prey of grievous wolves that enter within the fold of the church.

What a wonder of grace it is when fierce persecutors are converted, for then the wolf dwells with the lamb, and men of cruel ungovernable dispositions become gentle and teachable. O Lord, convert many such: for such we will pray to-day.

Beloved, the Lord will slain the evening wolves and you will be free forever. He can choose to convert them; he can chose to slain them. Ours is not the method or the means but ours is that victory be won over our life situations and defect all our enemies in the Name of Jesus.

He has promised; He will never fail us. Make this weekend a praise weekend. Have a blessed weekend. See you next week God willing.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

I Will Rejoice!

I will lift up my voice, I will joyfully sing not for He has done but Who is. You are song that sing melody in my heart. The reason I live is to praise you Lord! He reigns 3x forever more.

Blessed Redeemer, We bless You Lord truly for Who You Are and not for You have done because You can do anything. In Your Hand is power and Might. You created the World with a spoken Word, so what cannot be at your command Lord? Nothing! (Acts 17:24-31)

Beloved, hope your dancing shoes are still on? Whatever be it, you and I must rejoice in the midst of it all and we praise God other than bemoan our situation and God will show up.

The God who showed up for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego will show up for us. The same God Who showed up for Paul and Silas with a heavy chains of death sentence hanging over them.

They decide to give God their best at the death stead. And as they give their best of “tenor” “treble” or maybe their “bass” God showed up. Yes! He showed up and break the chains of iron bars and put asunder the prison gate.

God did not stop there. The jailer and his family gave their life to Christ and got baptized. They fear the God of Paul and Silas and surrendered to Him. Finally, the authority set them free at last. Someone with death sentence set free at last. Isn’t that amazing? Are you not excited?

Beloved they even made a demand, which was obeyed by their persecutors. The apologized to them and escorted them out and urged them to leave the town. (Act 16:20-39). So will the Lord disgrace your enemies as well in Jesus Name.

Dearly beloved there is much in praise than in mere sound and intensity you are hearing as the music go on. Beloveth a song sang from the depth of heart goes up to God and draw Him down to deliver, bless and make whole. It also bring down His glory in the midst of His people and that glory no one can share with Him.

What is it dear beloved that is troubling your soul, making you sleepless in the night? Offer praise instead and see what the Lord can do. Someone is not convinced that praise can handle his/her own case.

Can you tell me the relationship between God telling Abraham to leave his Father’s land and becoming the father of all nations? What is the relationship between filling the pot with water and drawing out from the same pot the best wine ever tasted since the beginning of creation? Is there a relationship between two fishes and five loaves of bread as a response to when more than five thousand men are hungry? Beloved, can you tell me the relationship between a bottle of oil in the house with settlement of debt incurred by a late servant of God?

All these testimonies were possible on the platform of obedience. Life is full of questions and God’s Word is full with the solutions to those questions. Be humble enough to read and believe God’s Word. Be humble enough also to believe in the prophets of God and your life will be such a smooth ride even in the toughest storms. Can I hear someone shouting alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!.

Beloved, delight yourself in the Lord and see God making you a wonder to your world. Amen!

Come, say with me “I will rejoice!

Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no fruit on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will triumph in the Lord; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!—Habakkuk 3:17–18

At times it seems that everything around you is collapsing. Endeavors you invested in may fail. People to whom you minister may disappoint you. The business or career you worked hard to build may crumble. These times, as difficult as they are, are opportunities to stop and examine what is truly important to you.

Habakkuk witnessed the collapse of most of what mattered to him. Yet through the loss, failure, and disappointment, he was able to distinguish between what was precious to him and what was transitory and empty. He came to the point where he could sincerely say that even if everything around him failed, he still would rejoice in God.

If the fig tree bore no fruit; if the vine produced no grapes; if the flocks and herds stopped reproducing; he would still praise God. His praise might not come easily, as he watched everything fall short of his expectations, but he would praise God nonetheless. Habakkuk could not make fig trees produce figs. He could not control the productivity of the flocks and herds, but he could control his own response to God. He chose to praise the Lord.

Do things seem to be falling apart around you? You can still praise God. Your praise for Him does not depend on the success of your endeavors but on God’s nature and His love and faithfulness to you. Ask God to help you look past worldly concerns to understand the reasons you have to praise Him.

Is there anyone who is not praising yet? Now let’s go, somebody worship somebody praise, e e e my Lord is good! O why are you not praising? Are you afraid, angry, perplexed or what? Come, receive strength, come and encouraged:

“His place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.” Isaiah 33:16

Do you doubt, O Christian, do you doubt as to whether God will fulfil His promise? Shall the munitions of rock be carried by storm? O Shall the storehouses of heaven fail? Do you think that your heavenly Father, though He knoweth that you have need of food and raiment, will yet forget you? When not a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father, and the very hairs of your head are all numbered, will you mistrust and doubt Him?

Perhaps your affliction will continue upon you till you dare to trust your God, and then it shall end. Full many there be who have been tried and sore vexed till at last they have been driven in sheer desperation to exercise faith in God, and the moment of their faith has been the instant of their deliverance; they have seen whether God would keep His promise or not.

Oh, I pray you, doubt Him no longer! Please not Satan, and vex not yourself by indulging any more those hard thoughts of God. Think it not a light matter to doubt Jehovah. Remember, it is a sin; and not a little sin either, but in the highest degree criminal. The angels never doubted Him, nor the devils either: we alone, out of all the beings that God has fashioned, dishonour Him by unbelief, and tarnish His honour by mistrust.

Shame upon us for this! Our God does not deserve to be so basely suspected; in our past life we have proved Him to be true and faithful to His word, and with so many instances of His love and of His kindness as we have received, and are daily receiving, at His hands, it is base and inexcusable that we suffer a doubt to sojourn within our heart.

May we henceforth wage constant war against doubts of our God—enemies to our peace and to His honour; and with an unstaggering faith believe that what He has promised He will also perform. “Lord, I believe, help Thou mine unbelief.”

Did you say “God help my unbelief? Praise God! He will yet help you and you will yet praise Him the more. May be we shall be ending this message with the by counting our past blessings; it will help us to look at the present problems and know that there is future for us in our forward looking. Praise the Lord!

Finally beloved lay claim to both study text today and see yourself riding on high after today! Don’t forget to praise Him to get delivery. Alleluia.

Praise Him Praise Him king of glory Praise Him, Praise Jehovah alleluia praise Him.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Clearly Supernatural

I will praise You Name 2x if Nobody will praise Your Name, I will praise. Receive all glory Lord, receive all honour Lord, receive all glory Lord, Alleluia Amen!  Let the living praise the Lord 2x.

Father, we thank You for another day in Your presence. Thank You for Your all benevolences in our lives, family, career, business and ministry. Thank You Lord forever and ever. Thank You for watching over us, keeping us and protecting us from dangers and plague that move at noon day and terrors of the night.

Beloved, today is the day, the day of the Lord Amen. Here we are to worship and praise our way through to the glory of the Lord. The Lord will step into your situation and make Name for Himself. Fear not, as you praise God today; as you pray also, God will arise to be God indeed unto you.

Our Father inhibits the praise of His children. Praise can be before victory is won as we discussed yesterday. It can also be after the victory has been won as was the case in Deut 32 where Moses taught the children of Israel a song in honour of the great deliverance wrought by God on their behalf as we were about to enter into the promised land.

Another example of the such praise can be seen in 2 Sam 6 when David with house of Israel  played before the Lord all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and psalteries and timbrels, on cornets and on cymbals. David danced with all his might before the God when the ark of God was being moved from Obededom house to the city of David. The Lord was so please with him though his wife Michal despised him in her heart because of that, and  when she eventually confronted him, David responded that he dance unto the Lord, he went further to say, given another opportunity he will yet do more he did. You know the rest of the story Michal was barren as a result.

So will the Lord fight all those who despises your worship of the Lord. He will destroy them before your very eyes. On the other hand, let us also careful of our actions towards any child of God, for God is their defender. Bring no cause upon yourself or generation either.

When God blesses it is not only outstanding; it is clearly Supernatural. Praise God! He defend His people, come along let us discover more:

In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.” Zech. 12:8

One of the best methods of the Lord’s defending His people is to make them strong in inward might. Men are better than walls, and faith is stronger than castles.

The Lord can take the feeblest among us and make him like David, the champion of Israel. Lord, do this with me! Infuse thy power into me, and fill me with sacred courage that I may face the giant with sling and stone, confident in God.

The Lord can make His greatest champions far mightier than they are: David can be as God, as the angel of Jehovah. This would be a marvelous development, but it is possible, or it would not be spoken of. O Lord, work thus with the best of our leaders! Show us what thou art able to do — namely, to raise thy faithful servants to a height of grace and holiness which shall be clearly supernatural!

Lord, dwell in thy saints, and they shall be as God; put thy might into them, and they shall be as the living creatures who dwell in the presence of Jehovah. Fulfill this promise to thine entire church in this our day, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.

Beloved, I decree into your live that as your praise today the Lord will make you strong inward so that you will be all that He has created you to be. For the Lord blessed whom He wants to bless and honour whom He wants to honour. Read further:

And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.” Mark 3:13

Here was sovereignty. Impatient spirits may fret and fume, because they are not called to the highest places in the ministry; but reader be it thine to rejoice that Jesus calleth whom He wills. If He shall leave me to be a doorkeeper in His house, I will cheerfully bless Him for His grace in permitting me to do anything in His service. The call of Christ’s servants comes from above.

Jesus stands on the mountain, evermore above the world in holiness, earnestness, love and power. Those whom He calls must go up the mountain to Him, they must seek to rise to His level by living in constant communion with Him. They may not be able to mount to classic honours, or attain scholastic eminence, but they must like Moses go up into the mount of God and have familiar intercourse with the unseen God, or they will never be fitted to proclaim the gospel of peace.

Jesus went apart to hold high fellowship with the Father, and we must enter into the same divine companionship if we would bless our fellowmen. No wonder that the apostles were clothed with power when they came down fresh from the mountain where Jesus was.

This morning we must endeavour to ascend the mount of communion, that there we may be ordained to the lifework for which we are set apart. Let us not see the face of man today till we have seen Jesus. Time spent with Him is laid out at blessed interest. We too shall cast out devils and work wonders if we go down into the world girded with that divine energy which Christ alone can give.

It is of no use going to the Lord’s battle till we are armed with heavenly weapons. We must see Jesus, this is essential. At the mercy-seat we will linger till He shall manifest Himself unto us as He doth not unto the world, and until we can truthfully say, “We were with Him in the Holy Mount.”

Beloved, let praise cloth you with power that is from above even as your sing aloud unto the king of king. I see your mountain move, I see your healing perfected. I see your garment of shame replace with that of honour and dignity. For every of your shame; the Lord is giving your double honour. Look up to heaven and see the release of the angelic host of heaven descending and ascending to deliver to you your desired package, position yourself through praise and receive from the Lord.

Remember our humble request from you. Give generously to the good work we are doing. And blessed of the Lord as you prosper his work here on earth. He will not fail to reward you, both in your body and the works of your hand. Our bank account is on the site under in the home page (sponsorship), God bless you.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Trees of the Lord Are Full of Sap

0

Come let’s praise the Lord 2x He is Jehovah (Tell the world of His faithfulness) He is El-Shaddai (Tell of world of His salvation) Spread the news around (Tell the world of His praise) Come let’s praise the Lord (praise the Lord). What a Mighty God we serve, alleluia 2x heaven and earth adore Thee, angels bow before Him what a Mighty God we serve. You are Mighty God, the great I am, alleluia alleluia!

Father, we thank You for another alleluia day in our life. Great is Your Faithfulness and Mercies unto Your children whose confident rest on you daily. Order my steps in your Word O Lord to do only Your will (Ps 143:10). Your will O Lord will I proclaim forever. Amen!

Beloved, yes! We ought to live an alleluia life as children of the Most High God. That was plan from the beginning that we hold fellowship daily with Him; that is also His plan at the end that we shout glory! glory!! glory!!! Alleluia! in the highest with four and twenty elders and all the numerous host of angels bow before the Throne and worship him that liveth for ever and ever (Gen 3:8; Rev 5:9-14).

Then do we asked ourselves what happened to this original plan of God concerning us? While do we live a praised less life? While are we full of murmuring instead praise? While do we allow the devil to deceive us and make us cold even in the midst of High praise.

It has happened to me and I also believe I have witness in the house. Instead of looking at the Mightiness of God; the devil bring to your face in bold prints that pressing need, instead of dancing and rejoicing to the rhythms of the song in worship, you are just moving your shoulder and feet reluctantly and be rehearsing the needs or challenging instead of the song. Do I have a witness in the house?

Beloved, after today that will be in the past and never again. We will begin to see God in every situation and ask Him for a way out every challenging situation. We will being to magnify God in every situation that weigh us down. We will being to praise God even when our head see no reason for such an act. Praise the Lord somebody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The acts of praise should be done from the deep of our heart though sometimes the heart is so full with worries and cares that there is a disconnect between the heart and the brain that gives impulse to the mouth to sing a melody other than a cry.

Praise gives us victory and command breakthroughs in our lives. It untie the knotty situations in our lives. It help us the scale walls and leap over mountains as we praise the King of kings, the Lion of the tribe of Judea.

Do I have a King Jehoshaphat in the house this moment, who at of fear proclaimed fast when he was confronted in a battle? A great multitude came against them and in that distress he called on God Who gave some strange instructions  through Jahaziel  “ fear not …go down against them… ye shall not fight in this battle; … stand still and see the salvation of Jehovah with you and it was according to the Word of the Lord (2 Chr 20:1-30)

He believed God, instead of arrows, javelins and spears for war, he appointed singers to sing praises to the One Who had given them victory though he is yet to see.  And my God, O our God Who inhabits the praises of His people came down in glory to fight the battle for His glory and honour according to His Word. You know the rest of the story. The Lord set lier-in-wait against their enemies and slay them all. How?

We will discuss that after the first message:

“The trees of the Lord are full of sap.” Psalm 104:16

Without sap the tree cannot flourish or even exist. Vitality is essential to a Christian. There must be life—a vital principle infused into us by God the Holy Ghost, or we cannot be trees of the Lord. The mere name of being a Christian is but a dead thing, we must be filled with the spirit of divine life. This life is mysterious. We do not understand the circulation of the sap, by what force it rises, and by what power it descends again. So the life within us is a sacred mystery.

Regeneration is wrought by the Holy Ghost entering into man and becoming man’s life; and this divine life in a believer afterwards feeds upon the flesh and blood of Christ and is thus sustained by divine food, but whence it cometh and whither it goeth who shall explain to us? What a secret thing the sap is! The roots go searching through the soil with their little spongioles, but we cannot see them suck out the various gases, or transmute the mineral into the vegetable; this work is done down in the dark.

Our root is Christ Jesus, and our life is hid in Him; this is the secret of the Lord. The radix of the Christian life is as secret as the life itself. How permanently active is the sap in the cedar! In the Christian the divine life is always full of energy—not always in fruit-bearing, but in inward operations.

The believer’s graces, are not every one of them in constant motion? but his life never ceases to palpitate within. He is not always working for God, but his heart is always living upon Him. As the sap manifests itself in producing the foliage and fruit of the tree, so with a truly healthy Christian, his grace is externally manifested in his walk and conversation.

If you talk with him, he cannot help speaking about Jesus. If you notice his actions you will see that he has been with Jesus. He has so much sap within, that it must fill his conduct and conversation with life.

Do you have your tree full with sap? Or are empty and powerless? Without Jesus we can do nothing of our own. Nothing I said nothing!

Let the praise of the Lord be a sap in your bone this day. Let be too melodious even to the dying soul that it will spring back to life again. Praise the Lord.

The Lord set the enemies of Judea against themselves and they slay one another not one escape. I decree upon you today that everybody who called themselves your enemy will be slain one another, not one of them will escape. Even those who pretend to be friends while deep in their hearts they can do anything to see to your end, the angel of the Lord will smote them dead. Praise the Lord.

Who is he that the Spirit of God is say “fear not” concerning that issues of concern, the said is saying fear not, He has not given you the Spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind (2Tim 1:7). Engage the power of praise to be an overcomer of that seeming hard situation with the help of the ministering spirits.

Come let us see what the ministering Spirits have for us this day:

“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:14

Angels are the unseen attendants of the saints of God; they bear us up in their hands, lest we dash our foot against a stone. Loyalty to their Lord leads them to take a deep interest in the children of His love; they rejoice over the return of the prodigal to his father’s house below, and they welcome the advent of the believer to the King’s palace above.

In olden times the sons of God were favoured with their visible appearance, and at this day, although unseen by us, heaven is still opened, and the angels of God ascend and descend upon the Son of man, that they may visit the heirs of salvation.

Seraphim still fly with live coals from off the altar to touch the lips of men greatly beloved. If our eyes could be opened, we should see horses of fire and chariots of fire about the servants of the Lord; for we have come to an innumerable company of angels, who are all watchers and protectors of the seed-royal. Spenser’s line is no poetic fiction, where he sings—

“How oft do they with golden pinions cleave

The flitting skies, like flying pursuivant

Against foul fiends to aid us militant!”

To what dignity are the chosen elevated when the brilliant courtiers of heaven become their willing servitors! Into what communion are we raised since we have intercourse with spotless celestials! How well are we defended since all the twenty- thousand chariots of God are armed for our deliverance! To whom do we owe all this?

Let the Lord Jesus Christ be for ever endeared to us, for through Him we are made to sit in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. He it is whose camp is round about them that fear Him; He is the true Michael whose foot is upon the dragon.

All hail, Jesus! thou Angel of Jehovah’s presence, to Thee this family offers its morning vows.

Are you singing All hail, Jesus with me now. Let us sing unto the Lord Who has won all our battles long before it confront us. Praise the Lord. Somebody!

Believe in your heart this week, you are scaling over your mountains and you are leaping over your walls. Alleluia!

If you are blessed by messages from this altar, we solicit your giving towards the payment of our subscription of the site to our host company on the net and the site maintenance manager. Be kind enough to give towards a good course “go yea and make disciple of all nation” the account to pay in is on the site already under “partner with us”

This is a time to stand up and be counted, don’t be left out. Encourage us even as we devote our lives in bringing to you messages that touches your life and help you to run this race with eternity in view. Show us love.

We have so much package to move this ministry to the next level in the coming year God helping us.

I met a lady yesterday who was so embittered about her marriage which is about a year old though the relationship has been on for thirteen years. Hear her, according to her while chatting with a friend, they were sad about their marriage and the friend told her that she is going to engage in infidelity if she finds someone that worth it. Being moved by this development, I spent time to counsel her and believe God will help her and her friend to find help in Christ Jesus and I will still follow up.

Beloved, this and many more we encounter daily and we cannot but spend ourselves in the services of the Lord which gainful employment may not enable us the time and opportunity to save not only souls and also homes.

We constantly challenged but we look up to God to see us through. I trust God that someone will be touch to be a light to the world through this ministry by keeping us on on-line and also create a platform for career development center by next year. “not forgetting that an ideal mind is a devil workshop,”.

We want to give opportunity, to provide avenue to train men and women to be gainful empowered against the assault of the devil. Pray along and partner with us by your “giving” that God will bring this fruition. Amen!

Delight and Desires

0

I will rejoice in the Lord, I will rejoice in the Lord. I lift my voice to sing praises to Him this is the day He has made. Praise the Lord Alleluia, lift Him up Alleluia 2x Alleluia All- elu-uia Alleluia –uia-uia.

Father, we thank You, we bless Your holy Name. Blessed be Thy Name forever and ever more. Lord God thank You for another morning, thanking Jesus for everything You have done for us. Thank You for the gift of another day, another week Father glory be to Your Name. Amen.

Beloved, hope you are good? it is good to give thanks and praise unto the Lord Who made heaven and earth. The Lord is good all the time. What more shall we say unto the Lord Who have preserve us up until now? All we have to say is “Thank You Lord.”

Is possible you have prayed and intercede all through the year even this month and it look as if nothing is happening. We have decided to use a weapon that must work. The weapon that God cannot resist. We have resolve to use “the weapon of Praise” to bring down God hand into our situation.

Are you ready to praise Him with your stringed instruments and organs? Come, let us praise Him with the sound of trumpet. Praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Let everything that has breath “praise the Lord!”

Beloved, let us delight ourselves in the Lord like never before and see His glory and honour manifest in that situation that is overbearing:

“Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” Ps. 37:4

Delight in God has a transforming power, and lifts a man above the gross desires of our fallen nature. Delight in Jehovah is not only sweet in itself, but it sweetens the whole soul, till the longings of the heart become such that the Lord can safely promise to fulfill them. Is not that a grand delight which moulds our desires till they are like the desires of God?

Our foolish way is to desire, and then set to work to compass what we desire. We do not go to work in God’s way, which is to seek Him first, and then expect all things to be added unto us. If we will let our heart be filled with God till it runs over with delight, then the Lord Himself will take care that we shall not want any good thing.

Instead of going abroad for joys let us stay at home with God, and drink waters out of our own fountain. He can do for us far more than all our friends. It is better to be content with God alone than to go about fretting and pining for the paltry trifles of time and sense. For a while we may have disappointments; but if these bring us nearer to the Lord, they are things to be prized exceedingly, for they will in the end secure to us the fulfillment of all our right desires.

Yes! Praise yea the Lord all yea His saints. Praise Him forever and forever. to Him alone is our glory forever Amen!

“To whom be glory for ever. Amen” Romans 11:36

“To whom be glory for ever.” This should be the single desire of the Christian. All other wishes must be subservient and tributary to this one. The Christian may wish for prosperity in his business, but only so far as it may help him to promote this—”To Him be glory for ever.” He may desire to attain more gifts and more graces, but it should only be that “To Him may be glory for ever.”

You are not acting as you ought to do when you are moved by any other motive than a single eye to your Lord’s glory. As a Christian, you are “of God, and through God,” then live “to God.” Let nothing ever set your heart beating so mightily as love to Him.

Let this ambition fire your soul; be this the foundation of every enterprise upon which you enter, and this your sustaining motive whenever your zeal would grow chill; make God your only object. Depend upon it, where self begins sorrow begins; but if God be my supreme delight and only object,

“To me ’tis equal whether love ordain

My life or death—appoint me ease or pain.”

Let your desire for God’s glory be a growing desire. You blessed Him in your youth, do not be content with such praises as you gave Him then. Has God prospered you in business? Give Him more as He has given you more. Has God given you experience? Praise Him by stronger faith than you exercised at first. Does your knowledge grow? Then sing more sweetly.

Do you enjoy happier times than you once had? Have you been restored from sickness, and has your sorrow been turned into peace and joy? Then give Him more music; put more coals and more sweet frankincense into the censer of your praise. Practically in your life give Him honour, putting the “Amen” to this doxology to your great and gracious Lord, by your own individual service and increasing holiness.

Do you still breath left in you despite all your challenges? Come with praise and see the Lord intervening in your situation. Let us make praise our weapon of warfare this week and see what comes of it.

I want to reassure you that the Lord will intervene truly as He had promised. Praise yea the Lord all yea His saints.

This week is declared blessed in the Name of the Lord. go and do exploits in the Lord Amen!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Avoid Foolish Questions

0

Everlasting Father, Everlasting Son, Immortal Holy Ghost be thou glorified 2x God, You are so good; God You are Wonderful; my God You are Excellent. Excellent is Your Name, Excellent is Power, Lord You are Wonderful, my God You are Excellent.

Father, we thank You Most Gracious Father for Your love and Kindness, Your peace, and ending Joy in the lives of Your Children. Lord, Thank You and thank You again and again.

Children of God, let us come rejoicing, shouting alleluia in the highest to the glory of His Name, is another Friday, praise the Name of the Lord, another opportunity to learn something special at His feet.

Hope you have been having exciting moments all the week or do I say month through the devotionals? The Lord has been gracious to us doing wonders in our lives, family, career, ministry and businesses. Glory be to God. Shall the prey from the mighty, or the lawful captive be delivered?

But thus saith Jehovah, even the captive of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; for I will contend with Him that contendeth with thee and I will save thy children (Isa 49:24-25).

Are you still in doubt about God’s interventions in your life this month and beyond? Truly has He said it; He will surely do it. The God of vengeance will fight all your battles and you will be free from the terror of the terrible (Ps 94:1-2). Praise the Lord. Do I have a testify in the house?

Beloved, are you in the habit of asking foolish questions and making unprofitable argument? The Word of God is admonishing you to desist from such. It is not profiting neither is it beneficial rather it breeds quarrels and bitterness. However, it was mentioned to us those things that we should daily strive towards. Come on for more discovery:

“Avoid foolish questions.” Titus 3:9

Our days are few, and are far better spent in doing good, than in disputing over matters which are, at best, of minor importance. The old schoolmen did a world of mischief by their incessant discussion of subjects of no practical importance; and our Churches suffer much from petty wars over abstruse points and unimportant questions.

After everything has been said that can be said, neither party is any the wiser, and therefore the discussion no more promotes knowledge than love, and it is foolish to sow in so barren a field. Questions upon points wherein Scripture is silent; upon mysteries which belong to God alone; upon prophecies of doubtful interpretation; and upon mere modes of observing human ceremonials, are all foolish, and wise men avoid them.

Our business is neither to ask nor answer foolish questions, but to avoid them altogether; and if we observe the apostle’s precept (Titus 3:8) to be careful to maintain good works, we shall find ourselves far too much occupied with profitable business to take much interest in unworthy, contentious, and needless strivings.

There are, however, some questions which are the reverse of foolish, which we must not avoid, but fairly and honestly meet, such as these: Do I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ? Am I renewed in the spirit of my mind? Am I walking not after the flesh, but after the Spirit? Am I growing in grace? Does my conversation adorn the doctrine of God my Saviour? Am I looking for the coming of the Lord, and watching as a servant should do who expects his master? What more can I do for Jesus?

Such enquiries as these urgently demand our attention; and if we have been at all given to cavilling, let us now turn our critical abilities to a service so much more profitable. Let us be peace-makers, and endeavour to lead others both by our precept and example, to “avoid foolish questions.”

Job was faced with situation no one will ever wish to have but instead of indulging in foolish questioning, he did the best thing that is expected of a child of God in distress, read on for more encounter:

“O that I knew where I might find Him!” Job 23:3

In Job’s uttermost extremity he cried after the Lord. The longing desire of an afflicted child of God is once more to see his Father’s face. His first prayer is not “O that I might be healed of the disease which now festers in every part of my body!” nor even “O that I might see my children restored from the jaws of the grave, and my property once more brought from the hand of the spoiler!” but the first and uppermost cry is, “O that I knew where I might find HIM, who is my God! that I might come even to His seat!”

God’s children run home when the storm comes on. It is the heaven-born instinct of a gracious soul to seek shelter from all ills beneath the wings of Jehovah. “He that hath made his refuge God,” might serve as the title of a true believer. A hypocrite, when afflicted by God, resents the infliction, and, like a slave, would run from the Master who has scourged him; but not so the true heir of heaven, he kisses the hand which smote him, and seeks shelter from the rod in the bosom of the God who frowned upon him.

Job’s desire to commune with God was intensified by the failure of all other sources of consolation. The patriarch turned away from his sorry friends, and looked up to the celestial throne, just as a traveller turns from his empty skin bottle, and betakes himself with all speed to the well. He bids farewell to earth-born hopes, and cries, “O that I knew where I might find my God!”

Nothing teaches us so much the preciousness of the Creator, as when we learn the emptiness of all besides. Turning away with bitter scorn from earth’s hives, where we find no honey, but many sharp stings, we rejoice in Him whose faithful word is sweeter than honey or the honeycomb. In every trouble we should first seek to realize God’s presence with us. Only let us enjoy His smile, and we can bear our daily cross with a willing heart for His dear sake.

Yes a willing heart grant to us O Lord to bear that which we cannot change but bear. Amen. Dearly beloved, meditate on these things and make wise choices rather than argument that profit nothing than play up of intelligence and knowledge but not in work in Jesus Name.

Avoid foolish question and see God intervening in every situations in life.

Have a restful weekend. See you next week if Jesus tarries by the grace of God.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Give Us Today Our Daily Bread

0

There is something that makes me come into your Presence, my helper, my helper O, my helper O, my helper, O Lord, there is something that makes me come into Your presence, my Healer. He is Miracle Working God 2x He is the Alpha and the Omega, He is a Miracle Working God. J-E-S-U-S Jesus, J-E-S-U-S my Saviour.

Thank You Father for the miracle of sleeping and waking up this morning. Thank You for the gift of health and vitality, we cannot thank You enough for Your Faithfulness in our lives even as we place our trust in You. You are so Powerful, so Gracious, so Merciful and your Lovingkindness towards us. Blessed be Your Holy Name.

Beloved, who is like our Father in heaven? Who can you likened to Him? No one can take His place and hold it faithfully and honorable without abusing or manipulating you. Glory be to God in the Highest. Thank God for Jesus Whose blood that washes and cleans and make whole. He is our mediator of the new testament….; He also have delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the … in whom we redemption through the His blood …. (Heb 9:15; Col 1:13).

Beloved, the topic before us today was taught by our Lord Jesus to the disciples however, we are not limiting ourselves to “bread” in the literal sense of it but we will be considering it in its global perspective of whatever be our needs in God.

Faithfull is our God. His Name is Faithful and Faithful is He. Our God dwells in the highest heaven but walks among men. He knows your needs even before it comes knocking and He has faithfully provide for it but the gap is that we don’t make enquiries from the right channel, we go asking and making enquiries from the wrong sources and wrong places.

In the process we get disenchanted and frustrated by the whole thing especially when you are working for Him in His vineyard, which can be your ministry, career, business, family even when you received the vision from above. The wisest thing to do is go back to God but oftentimes we run to men or people who were not sent to us to carry on the vision and they will help you to kill the vision.

So many homes have been destroyed based on what am sharing with you and many vision gone into oblivion because of wrong reliance on men instead of God in the provisions of our need. Praise God.

Let us come believing in God and His promises to us and we will see Him working out those difficult areas or challenges in our lives. Amen! (Heb 11:6).

I don’t know what God have promised you or what you are holding Him on for but what I know is that God is too faithful to fail you. He may not come the way you are excepting Him but He will never fail to come and He will never be late.

This is the most difficult part of our work with God but we must rely solely on Him. Remember, Abraham, how easy we covet his blessing but not his steadfastness in God. (Rom 4:18-22). Let us therefore be resolute in our walk with God and we see His wonders in our lives.

I will also be sharing with you, one man whose works has been very helpful to us as a ministry, one of the faithful generals who trusted God for all His needs and as at his last count, God is Faithful and am sure his experiences will encourage you.

Come along with us as we read to discover more:

Give us today our daily bread.—Matthew 6:11

Jesus often reminded His followers not to worry. He told them not to be anxious about tomorrow’s needs or potential problems (Matt. 6:25). Rather, Jesus stressed a daily reliance on the Father, who provides for His children day by day.

As the Israelites wandered in the desert, they had no way to get food. Miraculously, God provided manna that appeared on the ground each morning. God’s provision was sufficient for one day at a time. Each day the children of Israel received fresh manna as a tangible reminder of God’s love for them. If they attempted to store it for the days to come, they found that it had spoiled by the next day. It was impossible to stockpile God’s provision, because God wanted them to trust in Him, not in their pantry. God’s grace was sufficient for each day.

God wants us to trust Him daily with our needs. This trust does not make us poor planners or careless with our futures, unprepared to face what may come. Rather, it keeps our relationship with the Lord in its proper perspective as He reminds us daily of our dependence upon Him. God is aware of what tomorrow will bring and how we should prepare for it.

He knows the problems we will face, and He has already made provision for us to overcome them. He asks us to trust in Him daily. Our faith in Him today cannot substitute for our trust in Him tomorrow. If we walk with Him closely today, we will be in the center of His will tomorrow.

Beloved, how often do stockpile God’s provision even when there is need you can meet with it around you? Well it will be good if we will learn from today to rely on God and be His Hand and Feet when there is need in the life of our relations, neighbor or brethren. Come with me as we find out how reliable is our God:

 Can We Really Trust God?

Back in my mid-20’s I made the decision to take God literally. That is, to live Biblically and trust Him to meet my needs. Clearly, He had asked me to give full time to winning and discipling men. Shortly after responding to His “calling,” I was severely tested by the Enemy. Amidst the spiritual struggle, I got down on my knees and held my Bible in the air to God, claiming Matthew 6:25, 33:

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Following are four measurable illustrations of how God specifically honored His Word over these many years:

  1. In 1963 when Ruth and I met and fell in love, I was in an intensive Christian training program, living on a few dollars a week. After a number of months of secret letter-writing, (she had moved from Colorado to California) it became apparent that I should go and visit her. I asked God for the necessary funds to make the trip and determined to tell no one of my need. In the following weeks, inexplicably people began putting money into my mail box, under my pillow, etc. When I made the trip, the necessary funds were at hand.

  1. In 1970 Ruth and I returned from overseas missionary work, and needed funds to purchase a house to begin a ministry among university students. We had not mentioned our needs to anyone. One morning in my devotions I felt God laid a verse on my heart from Psalm 107, assuring me the necessary funds would be forthcoming. Later that morning when I opened my mail, there was a check for several thousand dollars which covered the down payment on the purchase of a house.

  1. In 1973 while preparing my income tax I found a misplaced stock certificate. When I mentioned it to Ruth, she informed me that the couple next door were filing for bankruptcy in two days. So we went over to their house and signed over the stock certificate to them. When we specified the stock’s value, the wife let out a scream and broke into tears. The amount was exactly what her Christian mother two days earlier had asked God to provide them. Within days both the husband and wife received Christ.

  1. When our children were studying at the university, unexpectedly I incurred a whopping tax bill. Shortly thereafter, I paid a visit on my 90 year old uncle. Without explanation, he handed me six envelopes totaling the amount of the tax bill. We had not discussed our need with anyone except the Lord.

Can God be trusted? Can He be taken literally? From my 50 years of walking with Him, my answer is a resounding and unequivocal “Yes!” (Adapted from FOTM).

Wow! What a miracle! someone is saying, but that is God for you. I have my own experiences also which I will one day list out in this order and I also believe you have a good handful of them too.

Let us keep believing God even for those needs that looks knotty, He will yet do it like in a twinkling of an eye, He will take you from the pit/prison to the palace. Keep holding on; never giving up. Your daily portion He will be Faithful to supply, just be make sure you are positioned to receive from Him.

Read Isa 41:17; Matt 6:8 and be encourage.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

What Sanctifies Our Offerings?

0

We give you glory as we worship 2x You are wonderful, You are worthy O Lord! 2x. Glory be to God in the Highest Amen 2x For His mercies endureth forever Amen 2x.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Whom You are. Thank You for the gift of another day in the land of the living, is only the living that can praise You Lord. Thank You for Your love Lord, thank You for preservation and protection, Lord, for your deliverance from the blood sucking demons and perpetuators of evil.  Glory be to your Holy Name forever.

Beloved, awake, awake for the time has come to worship the King of kings, the One Who deserve our worship and praise all daily. Therefore, come let us worship Him forever.

Before the birth of Christ, atonements are made with the blood of bulls, lambs, turtles, doves name it. We also have many offering such as peace offering, thanksgiving offerings, etc. None of these offerings were able to cleanse nor make whole. It has no capacity to reconcile man back to His creator who desires to be worship by the man He created.

Then when everything failed to bridge the gap created by our sins as the priest offers sacrifice year in year out. Then Jesus give up His Throne as a supreme sacrifice is needed to bring man back to God (Heb 9:11-26).

While the blood of the lambs and bulls failed; the blood of Jesus availed for us. His blood washes and made whole.

The blood of Jesus is potent in any situation, therefore we need not be afraid what the devil is scheming to do neither do we need to fear that which can only destroy the body and not the soul.

Come let us plead the blood on our sacrifices of prayer today as we pray and see our offerings sanctifies by the “Blood”:

And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord.” Lev. 4:7

The altar of incense is the place where saints present their prayers and praises; and it is delightful to think of it as sprinkled with the blood of the great sacrifice. This it is which makes all our worship acceptable with Jehovah: He sees the blood of His own Son, and therefore accepts our homage.

It is well for us to fix our eyes upon the blood of the one offering for sin. Sin mingles even with our holy things, and our best repentance, faith, prayer, and thanksgiving could not be received of God were it not for the merit of the atoning sacrifice.

Many sneer at “the blood”; but to us it is the foundation of comfort and hope. That which is on the horns of the altar is meant to be prominently before our eyes when we draw near to God. The blood gives strength to prayer, and hence it is on the altar’s horns. It is “before the Lord,” and therefore it ought to be before us. It is on the altar before we bring the incense; it is there to sanctify our offerings and gifts.

Come, let us pray with confidence, since the Victim is offered, the merit has been pleaded, the blood is within the veil, and the prayers of believers must be sweet unto the Lord.

The blood of Jesus gives us access to the inner court where only the priest was allowed to minister. Glory be to God Who by the death of Jesus gives us access to Himself. Thank you Father.

Come and experience the efficacy in the blood of Jesus:

“Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.” Hebrews 9:20

There is a strange power about the very name of blood, and the sight of it is always affecting. A kind heart cannot bear to see a sparrow bleed, and unless familiarized by use, turns away with horror at the slaughter of a beast. As to the blood of men, it is a consecrated thing: it is murder to shed it in wrath, it is a dreadful crime to squander it in war. Is this solemnity occasioned by the fact that the blood is the life, and the pouring of it forth the token of death? We think so.

When we rise to contemplate the blood of the Son of God, our awe is yet more increased, and we shudder as we think of the guilt of sin, and the terrible penalty which the Sin-bearer endured. Blood, always precious, is priceless when it streams from Immanuel’s side. The blood of Jesus seals the covenant of grace, and makes it for ever sure.

Covenants of old were made by sacrifice, and the everlasting covenant was ratified in the same manner. Oh, the delight of being saved upon the sure foundation of divine engagements which cannot be dishonoured! Salvation by the works of the law is a frail and broken vessel whose shipwreck is sure; but the covenant vessel fears no storms, for the blood ensures the whole.

The blood of Jesus made His testament valid. Wills are of no power unless the testators die. In this light the soldier’s spear is a blessed aid to faith, since it proved our Lord to be really dead. Doubts upon that matter there can be none, and we may boldly appropriate the legacies which He has left for His people. Happy they who see their title to heavenly blessings assured to them by a dying Saviour.

But has this blood no voice to us? Does it not bid us sanctify ourselves unto Him by whom we have been redeemed? Does it not call us to newness of life, and incite us to entire consecration to the Lord? O that the power of the blood might be known, and felt in us this day!

Beloved, the testament of the blood on your prayer today will deliver to you, today. None of your prayer covered with the blood of Jesus will go unanswered today. The blood in state of communion made whole and destroy the powers of sickness and death which  I have a testimony about, therefore standing on the potency of the blood of the Lamb every handwritten of death over every user of these devotional are hereby crush from the root never to raise again in Jesus Name. He had paid all the debt by His death on the cross willing; therefore sickness and death has no power over you (Isa 53:4-12; Jn 10 :18).

For where the Spirit of God is there is liberty (2 Cor 3:17); pray today like never before as the blood of Jesus will avail for you like never before.

He is risen and therefore we are risen also (1 Cor 15:20-22; Heb 8:1).

Remain blessed in the Lord.

The Lord Is My Portion

0

How excellent is your Name O Lord, how excellent is Your Name 3x O Lord. There is none Holy as the Lord, there is no besides him, neither is there any power like my God. there is none holy as the Lord.

Faithful God, indeed there is none holy as my God Who dwells in holiness. Blessed be the Name of the Lord, who reigneth forever and ever. Father, we thank You, we blessed Your Holy Name, we adore You, we are grateful to You for all You are doing in the lives of Your children, for Your pleasant surprises and fulfillment that can only be found in You alone. Glory be to Your Holy Name forever.

Beloved, in God is our sufficiency in Him we have our being. Glorious God, Wonderful Redeemer, we praise Thee. What else can we say, if God be for us; who can be against us? If God declares us His; who can say no to it. Therefore, let us rejoice and be glad in Him for this is the day He has made. Glory be to Him forever.

We saw the Lord taking us as His inheritance in our yesterday’s devotional. It gladdened my heart but I don’t know about you? Today, it becoming more interesting, I am declaring “the Lord is my portion or do I say “we,” are you in it with me?

Wow! He first loved us, that He claimed us to Himself, His love for us made Him to sacrifice His best for you. His declaration made us the choicest vine among the grove, what a wonderful election from the Throne where rigging is not allowed nor bribery permitted. Praise God.

Therefore, if you are declaring the God Who made heaven and earth, the One Who is and is Yet to come your Portion then come with me as we have more to consume:

“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul.” Lamentations 3:24

It is not “The Lord is partly my portion,” nor “The Lord is in my portion”; but He Himself makes up the sum total of my soul’s inheritance. Within the circumference of that circle lies all that we possess or desire. The Lord is my portion. Not His grace merely, nor His love, nor His covenant, but Jehovah Himself. He has chosen us for His portion, and we have chosen Him for ours. It is true that the Lord must first choose our inheritance for us, or else we shall never choose it for ourselves; but if we are really called according to the purpose of electing love, we can sing—

“Lov’d of my God for Him again

With love intense I burn;

Chosen of Him ere time began,

I choose Him in return.”

The Lord is our all-sufficient portion. God fills Himself; and if God is all-sufficient in Himself, He must be all-sufficient for us. It is not easy to satisfy man’s desires. When he dreams that he is satisfied, anon he wakes to the perception that there is somewhat yet beyond, and straightway the horse-leech in his heart cries, “Give, give.”

But all that we can wish for is to be found in our divine portion, so that we ask, “Whom have I in heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.” Well may we “delight ourselves in the Lord” who makes us to drink of the river of His pleasures.

Our faith stretches her wings and mounts like an eagle into the heaven of divine love as to her proper dwelling-place. “The lines have fallen to us in pleasant places; yea, we have a goodly heritage.” Let us rejoice in the Lord always; let us show to the world that we are a happy and a blessed people, and thus induce them to exclaim, “We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

Yes! People will see you and want to be with you because they know that God is with you. That should be their declaration. Potiphar and the prison warders declared it about Joseph (Gen 39:2-5;20-23). King Saul said that also about David also (1Sam 20:29-31; 24:16-21). When God is with you, you will be a blessing (Gen 12:2-3).

We are also going to see one woman who trusted God against all odd when everything has gone brassier she trusted the God of the mother in law and it came to past that God did not neglect nor forsake her as the world would think (2 Pet 3:9).

He honoured her trust in the Lord and made her part of Messianic lineage. Beloved, come as we see the wonders of the Lord prepared for those you only place the help and hope in the Lord:

“She gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.” Ruth 2:3

Her hap was. Yes, it seemed nothing but an accident, but how divinely was it overruled! Ruth had gone forth with her mother’s blessing, under the care of her mother’s God, to humble but honourable toil, and the providence of God was guiding her every step. Little did she know that amid the sheaves she would find a husband, that he should make her the joint owner of all those broad acres, and that she a poor foreigner should become one of the progenitors of the great Messiah.

God is very good to those who trust in Him, and often surprises them with unlooked for blessings. Little do we know what may happen to us tomorrow, but this sweet fact may cheer us, that no good thing shall be withheld. Chance is banished from the faith of Christians, for they see the hand of God in everything. The trivial events of today or tomorrow may involve consequences of the highest importance. O Lord, deal as graciously with Thy servants as Thou didst with Ruth.

How blessed would it be, if, in wandering in the field of meditation to-night, our hap should be to light upon the place where our next Kinsman will reveal Himself to us! O Spirit of God, guide us to Him. We would sooner glean in His field than bear away the whole harvest from any other. O for the footsteps of His flock, which may conduct us to the green pastures where He dwells!

This is a weary world when Jesus is away—we could better do without sun and moon that without Him—but how divinely fair all things become in the glory of His presence! Our souls know the virtue which dwells in Jesus, and can never be content without Him. We will wait in prayer this night until our hap shall be to light on a part of the field belonging to Jesus wherein He will manifest Himself to us.

Beloved, what a blessedness…., Ruth was counted as among those who said “who hath believed our report?” up until now we are still talking about her, what happened to Orpah? Nobody knew, but Ruth tenacity in the God of the Israel made her a winner in the mist of crushing, harsh and fail economy of Naomi, God Who never forsake the poor and the widow showed up.

Beloved, do not lose hope even in that hopeless situation the Lord of Host is still able to do something. Don’t forget He created everything out of nothing but a “spoken Word”.  I tell you in that situation that is crushing you down, God is speaking to it right now.

All you need do is to be still and listen. You will come out of it. You definitely will, only be still and fret not nor murmur again. The Lord will indeed visit you and make you glad Isa 35:1- 10. Never forget you are His portion and He is Yours also (2 Cor 3:2-5 Eph 1:3- 12; Gal 5:1).

Remain blessed in the Lord.
