It is time to seek the Lord

0

Praise the Lord alleluia, lift him up alleluia, Praise the Lord  alleluia, lift him up alleluia, all-e-l-u-i-a eyin Oluwa logo all-el….// What a might God we serve, What a might God we serve, What a might God we serve, What a might God we serve.// The that are impossible, the things that man cannot do they are things You have done for me, what mama cannot do what my papa cannot do You have done it again again.

Mighty God indeed You are might. Faithful is Your Name, I bow before You Who can do all things. When fear of the unknown grips us and want to paralyses us, You intervene by Your mighty power and speak to our storms and clam our trouble sea. Father, receive all the glory, all honour, all adoration in Jesus Name.

Beloved, it is time again to seek the Lord! Are you clapping unto the Lord this morning, are you thanking Him for His worthiness, let us glorify His Holy Name! He is worthy, He is worthy, He is worthy. Faithful is our God. Praise Him beloved, lift Him up, though your heart be down cast, at mention of His Name, let every weight be lifted. At the mention of His Name, let every burden drop in Jesus Name, At the mention of the Name of Jesus, let every knees bow in Jesus Name and every mouth confesses that Jesus is the Lord.

Beloved, repetition are used for emphasizes. The first part of our topic for today was meant to be on the first Wednesday of the month while the second part will have fallen in to the last Wednesday which is today. However, I had some challenges with the site and the laptop which in the mist of it I was unable to follow the order. However, while getting ready for the materials for today’s ministration, I ran into the same material which I would have used on the first Wednesday, incidentally both were saying the same thing. That actually cut my attention and I know when God is saying the same thing almost at the same time, it for us to obey.

Therefore, as God ordain nature, that after winter comes spring, likewise our soul is be awakening this day to seek the Lord. Peradventure, you have experiences the winter of prayerlessness and unfruitfulness, the Lord is calling on you today to seek after Him. Are depressed with the happenings around you, the Lord is telling you not give up but come to Him. Are you weary and heavily leaden, the Lord bids you come.

Never, give up, always look ahead, the future hold the best even if you cannot see it, even if it looks so bleak, do you ever give up, fight to continue going, it might be tough but I want to assure you that nothing good comes easy but with great travail a woman brings forth, likewise, press on even in your worship and before long you will see the star in you come alive again.

Hold on to God, your spring season is here, soon you will experience summer season again if you know how to maximize your spring season.

Come along as we make new discovers though the teaching of today with the Holy Spirit helping our understanding:

“It is time to seek the Lord.” Hosea 10:12

This month of April is said to derive its name from the Latin verb aperio, which signifies to open, because all the buds and blossoms are now opening, and we have arrived at the gates of the flowery year.

Reader, if you are yet unsaved, may your heart, in accord with the universal awakening of nature, be opened to receive the Lord. Every blossoming flower warns you that it is time to seek the Lord; be not out of tune with nature, but let your heart bud and bloom with holy desires. Do you tell me that the warm blood of youth leaps in your veins? then, I entreat you, give your vigour to the Lord.

It was my unspeakable happiness to be called in early youth, and I could fain praise the Lord every day for it. Salvation is priceless, let it come when it may, but oh! an early salvation has a double value in it. Young men and maidens, since you may perish ere you reach your prime, “It is time to seek the Lord.”

Ye who feel the first signs of decay, quicken your pace: that hollow cough, that hectic flush, are warnings which you must not trifle with; with you it is indeed time to seek the Lord. Did I observe a little grey mingled with your once luxurious tresses? Years are stealing on apace, and death is drawing nearer by hasty marches, let each return of spring arouse you to set your house in order.

Dear reader, if you are now advanced in life, let me entreat and implore you to delay no longer. There is a day of grace for you now—be thankful for that, but it is a limited season and grows shorter every time that clock ticks. Here in this silent chamber, on this first night of another month, I speak to you as best I can by paper and ink, and from my inmost soul, as God’s servant, I lay before you this warning, “It is time to seek the Lord.” Slight not that work, it may be your last call from destruction, the final syllable from the lip of grace.

Beloved, you will agree with me that this call cut across all ages. While some are fortunate to come to Lord at their youth some are yet to know Him even at their grey hair. Be of good cheers, consider it still a privilege given to you to seek the Lord, in each, God made it possible. Consider Peter and Timothy. In both cases, Jesus Name was glorified, none out do the other, they were all parts in building the body of Christ.

Let get going:

“The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.” Song 2:12

Sweet is the season of spring: the long and dreary winter helps us to appreciate its genial warmth, and its promise of summer enhances its present delights. After periods of depression of spirit, it is delightful to behold again the light of the Sun of Righteousness; then our slumbering graces rise from their lethargy, like the crocus and the daffodil from their beds of earth; then is our heart made merry with delicious notes of gratitude, far more melodious than the warbling of birds—and the comforting assurance of peace, infinitely more delightful than the turtle’s note, is heard within the soul.

Now is the time for the soul to seek communion with her Beloved; now must she rise from her native sordidness, and come away from her old associations. If we do not hoist the sail when the breeze is favourable, we shall be blameworthy: times of refreshing ought not to pass over us unimproved. When Jesus Himself visits us in tenderness, and entreats us to arise, can we be so base as to refuse His request?

He has Himself risen that He may draw us after Him: He now by His Holy Spirit has revived us, that we may, in newness of life, ascend into the heavenlies, and hold communion with Himself. Let our wintry state suffice us for coldness and indifference; when the Lord creates a spring within, let our sap flow with vigour, and our branch blossom with high resolve.

O Lord, if it be not spring time in my chilly heart, I pray Thee make it so, for I am heartily weary of living at a distance from Thee. Oh! the long and dreary winter, when wilt Thou bring it to an end?

Come, Holy Spirit, and renew my soul! quicken Thou me! restore me, and have mercy on me! This very day I would earnestly implore the Lord to take pity upon His servant, and send me a happy revival of spiritual life!

Are you ready to be part of this revival? Are you ready to let go every lethargy that holds you down before now and shine forth again? Are you ready to serve this God Who in everything is beautiful and bright. This is time; this is hour to let go the winter and smog that besieged your Spirit and come to the Living God, He will indeed make you smile again, your spring will blossom and your summer time come forth again in Jesus Name. Praise Lord.

My prayer for you that your Spirit man alive in again in Jesus Name. Be revive in the Name of Jesus. You that is on fire for Christ already, never let the fire go down in the Name of Jesus. Praise the Lord!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“This do in remembrance of Me”

There is power mighty in the blood 2x There is power mighty in the blood of Jesus, There is power mighty in the blood. Excellent Jehovah, Wonderful Jehovah, there is no one greater than Jehovah Love Divine 2x.

Holy Father we come to with thankful for Who You are. Blessed be Thy Holy Name.  Thank You for another bright day, Thank for the miracle of waking up this morning, Thank for the health of mind and body, blessed be thy Holy Name forever.

Beloveth, has God been faithful to You? Has He been loving and caring as He seem to make Himself? Have You notice that loving and caring go hand in hand? My answer is yes, I don’t know about You.

God created us in his image but the fall of man brought enmity between God and man. Not that God hates man but He is a Holy God Who cannot behold iniquities and the blood of bulls and rams were not enough to cleanse man from his sins. Our loving and caring Father sent His dear son Jesus Christ to get the cleansing done once and for all.

So that we can again reunite with Him and have constant fellowship without barriers.

Yesterday there was a promise to further discuss on how the success and failure of the past can be a hindrance to the future. Why do people always say “the good old days” especially when we are having challenges with where we are presently? Even when the past did not hold so much for us, we are still afraid to move into the future.

Have you ever read Phil 3:13-14. Here you see the power of ‘one thing’ and the ‘need to leave what is behind and stretch forward or leaving what is behind and press forward.’ I had a practical encounter with this verse of the Word in the 2nd week in December last year, I applied this verse of the Word and it worked.

Firstly, it help me to forgive those that were involved and secondly I believe the set time of God is yet to come and I move forward. And God honoured my obedience (forgiveness) and trust in Him. And today in that area of my life am not only singing and dancing, an also rejoicing.

Considering verse 14, “I press towards the mark” beloved, the race before us is in the front and not behind us. So for you to accomplish what God has for you, you must be willing to press forward. You must be willing to leave what is behind whether success or failure and move forward.

Do you want to be an overcomer, I tell you today to leave the hurting of yesterday, the disappointment of yesterday, the pains and agonies of yesterday and move into the glorious future God has prepared for you from the beginning. Is there already, all you need do is to navigate into it and keep on moving forward. Stop moving back and front.

Today’s topic is very crucial in the life of every child of God. This is one of the “one thing” that Jesus instructed us as He was about going back to His Father to do in His remembrance – “the breaking of bread and drinking of His blood” which represent “His body and blood”. But you must participate in it worthy.

The question is “Are you worthy to partake of it” why must you be worthy before partaking of it, let’s read 1 Cor 11: 27-30. So, it not a free for all but you must eat of it worthy. And as you do this always, you keep remembering the death and resurrection of Christ.

You keep remembering that a full price was paid to redeem you. You remind the devil that you are a dangerous specie having been redeemed by the Blood that was shed on the Calvary, so he must keep off you. Sickness must drop off you, poverty must not rob you of your ministry here on earth. (mention your case here and power in the blood it must drop off you) in Jesus Name.

Beloved, do you know that as salvation came from the death and resurrection Christ so also is healing, divine health, protection, deliverance, prosperity and whatever you desire from God. It is all-in one package. A ticket to salvation entitles to all others, are you aware of that?

Come, let us get down to the teaching of the day:

“This do in remembrance of Me.” 1Corinthians 11:24

It seems then, that Christians may forget Christ! There could be no need for this loving exhortation, if there were not a fearful supposition that our memories might prove treacherous. Nor is this a bare supposition: it is, alas! too well confirmed in our experience, not as a possibility, but as a lamentable fact.

It appears almost impossible that those who have been redeemed by the blood of the dying Lamb, and loved with an everlasting love by the eternal Son of God, should forget that gracious Saviour; but, if startling to the ear, it is, alas! too apparent to the eye to allow us to deny the crime. Forget Him who never forgot us! Forget Him who poured His blood forth for our sins! Forget Him who loved us even to the death!

Can it be possible? Yes, it is not only possible, but conscience confesses that it is too sadly a fault with all of us, that we suffer Him to be as a wayfaring man tarrying but for a night. He whom we should make the abiding tenant of our memories is but a visitor therein. The cross where one would think that memory would linger, and unmindfulness would be an unknown intruder, is desecrated by the feet of forgetfulness.

Does not your conscience say that this is true? Do you not find yourselves forgetful of Jesus? Some creature steals away your heart, and you are unmindful of Him upon whom your affection ought to be set. Some earthly business engrosses your attention when you should fix your eye steadily upon the cross. It is the incessant turmoil of the world, the constant attraction of earthly things which takes away the soul from Christ.

While memory too well preserves a poisonous weed, it suffereth the rose of Sharon to wither. Let us charge ourselves to bind a heavenly forget-me-not about our hearts for Jesus our Beloved, and, whatever else we let slip, let us hold fast to Him.

Beloved, did you read that “while our memory hold forth every other thing it suffereth that ‘one thing’ that is important to suffer “your remembrance of Jesus.”  “So long we go through the day without remembering that we did not say our morning prayers before leaving the house”. “How long do we go on matters bothering us without remembering that we have not mention it to Jesus?” “How often do we suffer lack and want without taking it to the good Shepherd.”

Beloveth, stand your watch, if you really want to be blessed:

Blessed is he that watcheth.” Revelation 16:15

“We die daily,” said the apostle. This was the life of the early Christians; they went everywhere with their lives in their hands. We are not in this day called to pass through the same fearful persecutions: if we were, the Lord would give us grace to bear the test; but the tests of Christian life, at the present moment, though outwardly not so terrible, are yet more likely to overcome us than even those of the fiery age.

We have to bear the sneer of the world—that is little; its blandishments, its soft words, its oily speeches, its fawning, its hypocrisy, are far worse. Our danger is lest we grow rich and become proud, lest we give ourselves up to the fashions of this present evil world, and lose our faith. Or if wealth be not the trial, worldly care is quite as mischievous. If we cannot be torn in pieces by the roaring lion, if we may be hugged to death by the bear, the devil little cares which it is, so long as he destroys our love to Christ, and our confidence in Him.

I fear me that the Christian church is far more likely to lose her integrity in these soft and silken days than in those rougher times. We must be awake now, for we traverse the enchanted ground, and are most likely to fall asleep to our own undoing, unless our faith in Jesus be a reality, and our love to Jesus a vehement flame. Many in these days of easy profession are likely to prove tares, and not wheat; hypocrites with fair masks on their faces, but not the true-born children of the living God.

Christian, do not think that these are times in which you can dispense with watchfulness or with holy ardour; you need these things more than ever, and may God the eternal Spirit display His omnipotence in you, that you may be able to say, in all these softer things, as well as in the rougher, “We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”

Where are the conquering Christians of our days? Did you read that- its blandishment, its soft words and its oily speeches…. are all sneers, so subtle that you don’t notice how gullible you are in the face of it.

The ‘only thing’ that will save you in all these things is to keep the “remembrance of Jesus” daily in focus. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment in the mist of confusion and subtle devices of the evil ones. Keep watch, this is no time to lower your guide lest you fall into temptation and backslid.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“We are come to the blood of sprinkling,…

He is alive forever 2x My Jesus is alive forever is alive Amen! Jesus I love You I lie my life before You, Father, I love You.

Faithful God hallow be thy Name. Thank You for the month of April, Thank You for all You have done for us and all that You are yet to do. Thank You for saving us from the schemes of the wicked and bring to nought all their plans against Your people. Blessed be Thy Holy Name. Merciful Father, breath on us afresh we pray Thee. Send forth Your love upon us even as You promised and turn away our captivity in Jesus Name.

Beloved, have you come to the blood that cleanse? The blood that speaketh better things than the blood of Abel? Faithful is our King of kings. Do you believe in the efficacy of the blood of Jesus? I do what about you? This blood is no ordinary blood, its set free and makes whole; it is full of Power and Might.

The wonders of this blood maketh the kingdom of darkness to tremble. The captive are delivered through this blood, sicknesses by whatever name cannot stand survive this blood, sterile cases bow before the blood. Dagon fall as the ark of God was captured and brought into its shrine and when Jesus died the veil that cover the holies of holies where the ark was  torn from up to down marking an end to the old era and the beginning of a new era- the dispensation of the blood and body of Christ.

What more can be said? The blood of Jesus is stronger and mightier than medical solution, it is potent than any managerial propound theories ever existed.

Come with me as we partake of the blessings of the Lord through the blood of Jesus:

We are come to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24

Reader, have you come to the blood of sprinkling? The question is not whether you have come to a knowledge of doctrine, or an observance of ceremonies, or to a certain form of experience, but have you come to the blood of Jesus? The blood of Jesus is the life of all vital godliness.

If you have truly come to Jesus, we know how you came—the Holy Spirit sweetly brought you there. You came to the blood of sprinkling with no merits of your own. Guilty, lost, and helpless, you came to take that blood, and that blood alone, as your everlasting hope.

You came to the cross of Christ, with a trembling and an aching heart; and oh! what a precious sound it was to you to hear the voice of the blood of Jesus! The dropping of His blood is as the music of heaven to the penitent sons of earth. We are full of sin, but the Saviour bids us lift our eyes to Him, and as we gaze upon His streaming wounds, each drop of blood, as it falls, cries, “It is finished; I have made an end of sin; I have brought in everlasting righteousness.”

Oh! sweet language of the precious blood of Jesus! If you have come to that blood once, you will come to it constantly. Your life will be “Looking unto Jesus.” Your whole conduct will be epitomized in this—”To whom coming.” Not to whom I have come, but to whom I am always coming. If thou hast ever come to the blood of sprinkling, thou wilt feel thy need of coming to it every day. He who does not desire to wash in it every day, has never washed in it at all.

The believer ever feels it to be his joy and privilege that there is still a fountain opened. Past experiences are doubtful food for Christians; a present coming to Christ alone can give us joy and comfort.

This morning let us sprinkle our door-post fresh with blood, and then feast upon the Lamb, assured that the destroying angel must pass us by

I want you to note this “past experience are doubtful food for Christians;…” Beloved, do you know that in your future lies your victory. Past victory or defect can become a dangerous stumble block for future success? Laying hold on your past can hinder you from reaching the future God has planned out for you. Permit me to stop here on this why we continue tomorrow again.

Ever wanting to see Jesus? Just come along with me:

We would see Jesus.” John 12:21

Evermore the worldling’s cry is, Who will show us any good?” He seeks satisfaction in earthly comforts, enjoyments, and riches. But the quickened sinner knows of only one good. “O that I knew where I might find HIM!” When he is truly awakened to feel his guilt, if you could pour the gold of India at his feet, he would say, “Take it away: I want to find HIM.”

It is a blessed thing for a man, when he has brought his desires into a focus, so that they all centre in one object. When he has fifty different desires, his heart resembles a mere of stagnant water, spread out into a marsh, breeding miasma and pestilence; but when all his desires are brought into one channel, his heart becomes like a river of pure water, running swiftly to fertilize the fields.

Happy is he who hath one desire, if that one desire be set on Christ, though it may not yet have been realized. If Jesus be a soul’s desire, it is a blessed sign of divine work within. Such a man will never be content with mere ordinances. He will say, “I want Christ; I must have Him—mere ordinances are of no use to me; I want Himself; do not offer me these; you offer me the empty pitcher, while I am dying of thirst; give me water, or I die. Jesus is my soul’s desire. I would see Jesus!”

Is this thy condition, my reader, at this moment? Hast thou but one desire, and is that after Christ? Then thou art not far from the kingdom of heaven. Hast thou but one wish in thy heart, and that one wish that thou mayst be washed from all thy sins in Jesus’ blood? Canst thou really say, “I would give all I have to be a Christian; I would give up everything I have and hope for, if I might but feel that I have an interest in Christ”?

Then, despite all thy fears, be of good cheer, the Lord loveth thee, and thou shalt come out into daylight soon, and rejoice in the liberty wherewith Christ makes men free.

The power of “One thing”, the power of focus is so important in any man’s life if he must be successful. If your desire of one thing centers on Christ only than every other thing will be added unto you (Matt 6:33). Beloved, another week is here, the last lap of the month. Whatever remain to make the month successful for you, the Lord will make available in Jesus Name.

Plead the blood of Jesus as walk along the week and believe it is well with your soul in Jesus Name. The salvation of the Lord is also available in the blood. Click here to receive Jesus now.

Beloved, this week is declared blessed in the Name of the Lord. Go in His might and return with testimonies in Christ Jesus.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

“Cherry Picking” The Scriptures

0

April 22

What a wonderful God, what a glorious God, He has done marvelous things for me, what a wonderful God, what a glorious God, He use to do marvelous things in my life. The things that are impossible, the things that money cannot buy, they are things that He has done for me ooo. What my mama cannot do, what my papa cannot do, He has done it again, again. To You O, be all the glory, To You Lord, be all the honour, To You Lord be all the glory and adoration for ever more.

Father, we Thank You, we bless Your Holy Name for all You have done for us through the week. Thank You for Your Word that is new every morning. Thank You for upholding our faith in You. Thank You for the protection and provision also. Thank You Lord for Your Faithfulness. We specially thank You for the Blood of Jesus that sets free and make whole. Thank Father for us Your tabernacle (Lev 26:11) You Thank You Father forever more.

Beloved, we are at it again and am very sure you will enjoy todays teaching as much as I am dancing and rejoicing here. I will also advise you to save it for easy reach for reference in the future.

Our teaching for today is not only instructive; it is also powerful. It is a habit we develop unconsciously but it very injurious to our Christian’s living. Is consequence is not only grievous but it also leads to backsliding in the faith. It make an individual ever baby in Lord, desiring only milk and never strong meat in the Word of God.

But that is not what it ought to be. So by the grace of God, today’s teaching will help us set a standard for growth in our Christian race. Don’t be left out, you can print it out and paste it at your corner or tuck it into your study bible. O I have forgot that we are technology driven, please save it in on your smart phone. So let’s start going:

Cherry Picking” The Scriptures

Have you ever picked cherries? The idea is to choose the ripe ones while ignoring the rest.

Some of us “cherry pick” the Scriptures by selecting the truths we like while disregarding the others.

And what we like to pick from the Scriptures are the truths that insure God’s promises of material blessings, healing, and general well-being, while ignoring His demands for separation from sin; living a life of integrity, purity, and servanthood.

If we are “cherry picking” the Scriptures, we are guilty of reducing the Word of God and Jesus Christ to a servile role that caters to our insatiable self-love.

Conversely, Paul, in preaching God’s Word resisted the temptation of “cherry picking” the Scriptures: “I have not hesitated to proclaim the whole will of God.” (Acts 20:27)

Some time ago I counseled a businessman who, along with his partners, were knowingly marketing a product that was defrauding their customers.

Imagine it! These men who supposedly had been touched by the love of Christ were using their position as leaders in the Christian community to exploit others! Apparently Scriptural “cherry picking” had dulled their conscience to make such behavior palatable.

Paul cautioned us: “Live as free men, But do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evilto indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.” (1 Peter 2:16; Galatians 5:13)

QUESTION: Are you ruthlessly applying all the Scriptures to your life, or are you selectively “cherry picking” the ones that pander your narcissistic tendencies?

The next time you are tempted to soften your stance on integrity by “cherry-picking” the Scriptures you choose to apply, keep in mind Jesus’ warning,

If anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life, and in the holy city… ” (Revelation 22:19a)

Did you read that? However this is what it ought to be:

Applying The Scriptures To Your Life

As you spend time with the Lord meditating over a portion of Scripture, you may find it helpful to ask the following questions:

  • Is there an example to follow?
  • Is there a sin to avoid?
  • Is there a promise to claim?
  • Is there a prayer to repeat?
  • Is there a command to obey?
  • Is there a condition to meet?
  • Is there a verse to memorize?
  • Is there an error to mark?
  • Is there a challenge to face?

If you would like practice in utilizing the above questions, read and meditate upon Luke 14:25-17:10.

Please go through the Lk 14:25 up to 17:10, you will see what Jesus wants from you. We came across the last verse in the course of our teaching during the week. Beloved, Thank God that His Word is not scare in our time.

Avoid those teachings that only talk about prosperity and never teach you about the cross. It will make you a dwarf in Word of God and when challenges of life comes up which will always be, you will not be able to endure hardship; you will not able to answer the call from Jesus to carry the cross with Him.

The Lord will give understanding in His Word in Jesus Name (Jn 6:63). Glory be to God. Have a loving weekend and be fruitful. See you next week by God’s grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Help My Unbelief!

Thank You Jesus Your are the owner of my soul, Alpha Omega You are worthy of our praise, in all generation ther is no one like You, Alpha Omega You are worthy of our praise.// He is miracle working God 2x he is the Alpha and the Omega, He is a miracle working God.

We thank You for Your Faithfulness, Your love and peace on our lives, Thank You for miracle of sleeping and waking up to the glory of Your Name, who is like unto Thee? Thank You for Your patience and kindness toward all that You have made. Thank You for counting us worthy to be among the living. We are grateful and we come to say Thank You Father.

Beloved, is there any burden in your heart? Are you afraid of what might become of that situation if God did not show up? Does that sickness suddenly become a nightmare? That wayward child or spouse is making you restless?

Never mind, God is still God. He will never fail you nor forsake you. He is dependable, Reliable and Steadfast. There is none like Him. All that is needed of you now is to believe Him and obey Him. Hold on to Him, at the nick of time, He will be there. I am not trying to make light of the situation at hand rather I am convinced that He will do it. It may not happen at our own time but He holds the perfect time of every situation in His hand.

The case study we have in our teaching today will further help your understand and knowledge of our topic of discuss. Come along with me as we learn more at His Feet:

Immediately the father of the boy cried out, “I do believe! Help my unbelief.”—Mark 9:24

Faith does not come from ignorance. Faith is based on what we know.

Before we will trust others with something precious to us, we first try to find out if they are trustworthy. This father was asking that he might come to know God in such a dimension that he could trust Him to cure his son.

His son had been possessed by an evil spirit since early childhood. The father did not know Jesus well, but he had heard and seen enough to convince him that if there was any hope for his son, it lay with Jesus. In desperation he cried out to Jesus for help. Jesus’ response was to heal his son. The desperate father had correctly gone to Jesus with his problem even though he was struggling with his faith.

When you are struggling to believe, that is not the time to avoid Christ or to be ashamed of your struggle. You will never increase your faith by not going to Jesus! Rather, Jesus wants to help you with your belief. He can not only meet your need, but He will also give you faith to trust Him to provide for you.

If you are struggling to believe that God can take care of your need, it is because you don’t know Him as He wants you to. Go to Him and allow Him to convince you of His ability to meet every need you will ever face.

Beloved, did you study yesterday’s teaching? Did you read the first sentence above “our faith does not come from ignorance rather is firmly based on knowledge which I tried to illustrate with parent and child relationship. Let’s read further:

“She bound the scarlet line in the window.” Joshua 2:21

Rahab depended for her preservation upon the promise of the spies, whom she looked upon as the representatives of the God of Israel. Her faith was simple and firm, but it was very obedient. To tie the scarlet line in the window was a very trivial act in itself, but she dared not run the risk of omitting it.

Come, my soul, is there not here a lesson for thee? Hast thou been attentive to all thy Lord’s will, even though some of His commands should seem non-essential? Hast thou observed in his own way the two ordinances of believers’ baptism and the Lord’s Supper? These neglected, argue much unloving disobedience in thy heart. Be henceforth in all things blameless, even to the tying of a thread, if that be matter of command.

This act of Rahab sets forth a yet more solemn lesson. Have I implicitly trusted in the precious blood of Jesus? Have I tied the scarlet cord, as with a Gordian knot in my window, so that my trust can never be removed? Or can I look out towards the Dead Sea of my sins, or the Jerusalem of my hopes, without seeing the blood, and seeing all things in connection with its blessed power?

The passer-by can see a cord of so conspicuous a colour, if it hangs from the window: it will be well for me if my life makes the efficacy of the atonement conspicuous to all onlookers. What is there to be ashamed of? Let men or devils gaze if they will, the blood is my boast and my song. My soul, there is One who will see that scarlet line, even when from weakness of faith thou canst not see it thyself; Jehovah, the Avenger, will see it and pass over thee.

Jericho’s walls fell flat: Rahab’s house was on the wall, and yet it stood unmoved; my nature is built into the wall of humanity, and yet when destruction smites the race, I shall be secure. My soul, tie the scarlet thread in the window afresh, and rest in peace.

Rahab was yet to experience the mighty works of the God of Israel personally but she believe the spies base on the knowledge she had about their God – simple as it seems but difficult to put practice in our time despite all we have heard and seen God do in our midst.

Are you crying out to God this moment to help Your unbelief? She did not just believe, she was also obedient the instruction given her. Do you know that she would have missed her miracle though she believe but was not obedient?

Beloved, we need to check out where and why we are missing our miracles and quickly obey. Recently I received a miracle based on obeying an instruction given by the servant of God. it was simple but if I had not obey him is very possible that I would gone home after the service without receiving that healing miracle (I had a shift Disc 17years ago which also affected my anal bone and pelvic bone) I had at various time been healed but only to discover that it was multiple shift from the spinel bone downward. So early this year I handed the total restoration of whatever that is wrong.

The man of God mentioned my case during the service and true to it I was in pains during the week and several others cases that were mentioned but the instruction here was for those that were effected to ‘stand out to be prayed for’. I was tempted to sit back but I quickly jump up to avoid reasoning out the instruction. Beloved, it was in my standing up that my healing came. I Immediately I felt as if the upper part of my body was lifted and keyed back and that was it. For the first time I felt straightened, I sat down without feeling pain at my pelvic bone. Praise the Lord.

Beloved, you need to check out why that miracle is yet to be. Are you disobeying any instruction given to you concerning it. It is not enough to have faith, it is very important that we obey the instructions given. If I have not obeyed the instruction though I believe God and I also believe His servant, nothing would have happened as my healing was based on my obeying the instruction “stand up and be pray for. Praise God.

Finally, as we shout out to God today to help our unbelief, let us also ensure that we will obey every instruction given to us.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Knowing Christ

0

Your Name is Yahweh 2x You are Miracle working God Your Name is Yahweh.// I know His Name 2x His Name is Wonderful. I know His Name 2x His Name is Miracle. I know His Name 2x His Name is King of kings ….Marvelous, Powerful.

Father indeed You are more than what we call You but we reverence You still with those Names as sign of Who You are and What You can do. Thank You Father. We lift You high, we adore You, we glorify You both now and forever.

The bell is ringing for a solitary time with God, Is calling out for you and I to meditate therein, reason together and present our request before the Throne and get answers to our prayers. Praise God.

Beloveth, this is coming again to us this year, “knowing your Maker” How well do you know God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit? How do you come to the knowledge of them in the first place? Do you study further on what you knew about them in the bible?

Every relationship is driven by knowledge. Husband and wife relationship, parents and child relationship, employee and employer relationship etc. Each of this relationship is powered by knowledge. For instance a parent and child relationship – a parent know that he or she has the responsibility to cater for the child while the child ensures that houses chores are done. At the early years of that child’s development a parent devote his or her time to bringing up that child however this responsibility reverse as the child grows into adult and the parent is growing old and weaker.

Same way in our relationship with God, when we get born again and study our bible with the help of the Holy Spirit we have personal revelation of Who God is and what is expected of us to do as we mature in the word.

This is so vital, else we will be toss by every wind of doctrine and we run hither and thither at a little challenge. Sometimes some fall out of faith base on the challenges they are facing. This wouldn’t have been the case if there was a growing relationship in Christ. (Jn 8:32)

Prayers and answers to what we asked from God not only reveal who God is to us but also enable us to encourage those who have not come to the knowledge of this truth.

Do not neglect your prayer time because it is just another revelation time your are putting off. Praise God.

Let get into our teaching for the day:

“You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me.

And you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.”—John 5:39–40

Bible study will not give you eternal life. You could memorize the entire Bible and be able to discuss minute issues of biblical scholarship and yet fail to experience the truths found in its pages. It is a subtle temptation to prefer the book to the Author. A book will not confront you about your sin, the Author will. Books can be ignored; it is much harder to avoid the Author when He is seeking a relationship with you.

The Pharisees in Jesus’ day thought God would be pleased with their knowledge of His Word. They could quote long, complicated passages of Scripture. They loved to recite and study God’s Law for hours on end. Yet Jesus condemned them because, although they knew the Scriptures, they did not know God. They were proud of their Bible knowledge, but they rejected the invitation to know God’s Son.

Can you imagine yourself knowing all that God has promised to do in your life but then turning to something else instead? You may be tempted to turn to substitutes. These substitutes aren’t necessarily bad things. They might include serving in the church, doing good deeds, or reading Christian books. No amount of Christian activity will ever replace your relationship with Jesus. The apostle Paul considered every “good” thing he had ever done to be “rubbish” when compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ (Phil. 3:8).

Never become satisfied with religious activity rather than a personal, vibrant, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. More below:

“Behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.” Matthew 27:51

No mean miracle was wrought in the rending of so strong and thick a veil; but it was not intended merely as a display of power—many lessons were herein taught us. The old law of ordinances was put away, and like a worn-out vesture, rent and laid aside. When Jesus died, the sacrifices were all finished, because all fulfilled in Him, and therefore the place of their presentation was marked with an evident token of decay.

That rent also revealed all the hidden things of the old dispensation: the mercy-seat could now be seen, and the glory of God gleamed forth above it. By the death of our Lord Jesus we have a clear revelation of God, for He was “not as Moses, who put a veil over his face.” Life and immortality are now brought to light, and things which have been hidden since the foundation of the world are manifest in Him. The annual ceremony of atonement was thus abolished.

The atoning blood which was once every year sprinkled within the veil, was now offered once for all by the great High Priest, and therefore the place of the symbolical rite was broken up. No blood of bullocks or of lambs is needed now, for Jesus has entered within the veil with his own blood. Hence access to God is now permitted, and is the privilege of every believer in Christ Jesus.

There is no small space laid open through which we may peer at the mercy-seat, but the rent reaches from the top to the bottom. We may come with boldness to the throne of the heavenly grace. Shall we err if we say that the opening of the Holy of Holies in this marvellous manner by our Lord’s expiring cry was the type of the opening of the gates of paradise to all the saints by virtue of the Passion?

Our bleeding Lord hath the key of heaven; He openeth and no man shutteth; let us enter in with Him into the heavenly places, and sit with Him there till our common enemies shall be made His footstool.

Beloved knowledge is power, and information makes a lot of difference. Now that you know that you have direct access to the Throne, why beating around? Why depending on someone to pray you out of that situation.

The truth is that when the veil was torn, we became the temple where God dwells (Ps 61:4). Therefore, hurry now to the Throne through the blood of Jesus and be made whole. Cry to God on that issue bothering you and you will receive answers from Him. if the answers tarry, tarry also until He send His Word. For in His favour is life (Ps 30:5). I will abundantly bless her provision …(Ps 132:15).

May the Lord hear your prayer today in Jesus Name, Amen!!!

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Are You Following Jesus Christ For The Right Reasons?

0

Everybody testifying You are good, You are good Jehovah You are good 2x. // Immortal God, Invisible God, Immortal God how great Thy are.

Faithful Father, we are before You. Gracious are Your works and precious to behold. We Thank You for a bright day under heaven, Your goodness is immeasurable, thank You Lord. You made the heaven and earth to display Your glory, Faithful are You Lord forever and ever.

Beloved, our God is Awesome, He is Mighty, He is Great, He is powerful, He is trustworthy, He faileth not, He is ever Faithful, Shout alleluia to the King of kings, the Lord of lords. The Ancient of days, the One Who knows our end from the beginning. He is our Maker, our Redeemer, our Restorer, our Helper. Father, You too much. You are Unchangeable Changer, Thank You Jesus! Thank You Father! Thank You Holy Spirit! I just want to say Thank You Lord. Praise the Name of the Lord.

May I ask you this question, Why are you following Jesus? Different people have different reasons for following Christ? Are you following Jesus for the right reasons? Is possible at the time of conversion the person that led you to Christ told you so many things that you held onto and believing that if you keep your part of the transaction, God must keep His own part.

So from the beginning you have a wrong attitude in your relationship with God. Often time we miss it at the area of tithing. You hear a believer saying, “I pray my tithe therefore God must do this and this for me.”

I use to think that way until I heard a message that turn my orientation around. Beloved, do you know that your righteousness is like a filthy rags before God? Do you also know that you are unprofitable servant? Do you realize that if God has not given you a job or something doing, you will not be able to pay a tithe? I don’t want to talk about those who think it is by their degrees and certificate that things turn around for them.

Let me shock you further, do you also know that it is left for God to accept or reject your offerings and tithes? I want you to know that God is no debtor to anyone, whosoever and whatsoever you are doing for God, it is in His hand to bless you but never demand it as right from Him.

Come with me to the gospel of Saint Luke chapter seventeen verse seven to ten (Lk17:7-10). Jesus was teaching His servant to avoid occasion of offense. Beloved, verse ten said we have just done what we are supposed to do or what we ought to do- we are unprofitable servant, we just have done that which is our duty.

Can you see that you have just done your duty, nothing special, nothing spectacular. Wow! The day I heard this message in this form my approach to the Throne change forever.

Yours might not be tithing, it can be any other thing known to you. We must learn to appear before God in our nothingness, you can bring to His remembrance all what you are doing but not on ground of merit but rather on the merit of the cross of Calvary, on the merit of Who God is and on merit of the blood of Jesus shed for your sake.

In our teaching today, we are going to discover wrong motives of following Jesus. We will also see pure motives of following Christ. Praise the Name of the Lord. Come with me as we read through:

Are You Following Jesus Christ For The Right Reasons?

If your motives in pursuing the Master are for anything less than a desire for intimacy with Him, you are sadly on the wrong track:

Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.” (John 6:53, 54).

It is a mystery as to exactly what Jesus meant here. At the very least He conveyed the idea of total involvement with Him at the most intimate level.

A little steep? He meant it that way: “As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were no longer walking with Him.” (John 6:66)

The Gospels communicate at least four wrong reasons as to why people followed Jesus:

  1. Curiosity over His miracles

And a great multitude was following Him, because they were seeing the signs which He was performing on those who were sick.” (John 6:2) (Also: Luke 9:9; 23:8; John 2:23-25)

  1. The Material benefits

Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Mebecause you ate of the loaves, and were filled.” (John 6:26)

  1. The Political benefits

Jesus therefore perceiving that they were intending to come and take Him by force, to make Him king, withdrew… ” (John 6:15a) (Also: Luke 24:21)

  1. Status

“Grant that we may sit in your glory, one on Your right, and one on Your left.” (Mark 10:37) (Also: Mark 9:31-37)

We need to search our hearts as to why we profess allegiance to Him. If our motives are ulterior, we solicit His rejection:

Jesuswas not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all menfor He Himself knew what was in man.” (John 2:24, 25).

When Jesus was going to the Calvary a group of women followed him crying. Do you know why they were crying? Let discover more:

“And there followed Him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented Him.” Luke 23:27

Amid the rabble rout which hounded the Redeemer to His doom, there were some gracious souls whose bitter anguish sought vent in wailing and lamentations—fit music to accompany that march of woe. When my soul can, in imagination, see the Saviour bearing His cross to Calvary, she joins the godly women and weeps with them; for, indeed, there is true cause for grief—cause lying deeper than those mourning women thought.

They bewailed innocence maltreated, goodness persecuted, love bleeding, meekness about to die; but my heart has a deeper and more bitter cause to mourn. My sins were the scourges which lacerated those blessed shoulders, and crowned with thorn those bleeding brows: my sins cried “Crucify Him! crucify Him!” and laid the cross upon His gracious shoulders. His being led forth to die is sorrow enough for one eternity: but my having been His murderer, is more, infinitely more, grief than one poor fountain of tears can express.

Why those women loved and wept it were not hard to guess: but they could not have had greater reasons for love and grief than my heart has. Nain’s widow saw her son restored—but I myself have been raised to newness of life. Peter’s wife’s mother was cured of the fever—but I of the greater plague of sin. Out of Magdalene seven devils were cast—but a whole legion out of me. Mary and Martha were favoured with visits—but He dwells with me. His mother bare His body—but He is formed in me the hope of glory. In nothing behind the holy women in debt, let me not be behind them in gratitude or sorrow.

“Love and grief my heart dividing,

With my tears His feet I’ll lave—

Constant still in heart abiding,

Weep for Him who died to save.”

Now can you identify among other reasons why you are following Jesus. Jesus extended an invitation to us to abide in His love. He is also asking us to follow him with pure motives other than what we will eat and drink. Go yea therefore and make disciples of all nation should be among other things why we are following Him. Look at for an opportunity to do so today.

Is God unfaithful to reward You, not at all, He is more than able to do all that we will ever ask or imagine. seek Him base on who He is and not what You and benefit.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Jesus Said: “Abide In My Love.”

0

Everlasting Father, everlasting Son, Immortal Holy Ghost be thou glorified 2x.// What shall I say unto the Lord all I have to say is thank You Lord 2x. Thank You Lord 2x all I have to say is Thank You Lord.

Our Father, Blessed Redeemer, Everlasting King, how Wonderful and Faithful are You Lord. Thank You for You have done for us, the blessings of the Lord add no sorrow. Thank You for healings, deliverance, provisions, protections, Safety and Your undying love on us Your children.

Beloved, are you showing gratitude to God this morning? Is your heart full of praise and thanksgiving? Are you thanking God for His finger to see His hand? Have you experience any miracle that you think that it was just because He loves you?

Our topic today is taking us above our natural tendencies up above our natural inclines to the place where He is so that we can enjoy what He died for. Jesus changes not. What He stood for long before you were born; He still stand for up until now (Heb 13:8).

Today is the first working day of the week and Jesus is extending an invitation to you, “Abide in my love” will you accept it and experience the wonders in the total package. Jesus is love just as His Father is, wouldn’t you rather be like them. Let’s go into the teaching of today:

Jesus Said: “Abide In My Love.”

Easier said than done when you are:

  • Fighting time pressures.
  • Facing unrealistic expectations from clients…
  • Struggling with gnarled traffic and self-serving fellow-workers.

So, how is it possible to abide in His love? Let’s take it a step at a time: Jesus said, “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.” (John 15:9)

“JUST AS THE FATHER HAS LOVED ME… “

The love of the Father for the Son is unconditional, all-encompassing, unchanging and eternal. Christ has always lived in the Father’s love.

“I HAVE ALSO LOVED YOU… “

In like manner, Christ’s love for us is of the same quality as the Father’s love for His Son. Whether we “perform” or not, His love is there! Whether we “feel” close to Him or not His love is there! Whether we have spent time with Him or not His love is there: Encircling us, unconditional… unceasing.

“ABIDE IN MY LOVE”

Jesus extends Himself to us by saying in effect, “My love for you is available now. You dont have to work or beg for it. Just accept it and rest in it. Because I have already paid the price for your sin, I offer My love to you freely. Simply live in it. Freely drink of it.

To abide in His love, we need to understand two truths: First, Christ’s love for us is unconditional. Second, experiencing His love is predicated upon obedience to His Word:

If you obey My commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Fathers commands and remain in His love.” (John 15:10 ).

As Jesus experienced the Father’s love through obedience to His will, so we experience Jesus’ love through uncompromising obedience to His Word.

Abide in My love“. This is Jesus’ gracious invitation to you today. Take Him at His Word and enjoy what He died to give you: His loving friendship.

Beloved, are accepting that invite? Are struggling with love in any area of your life? It will be good for you to accept this invite, why? Someone wants to know? Because it will enable you to love just as Christ loves. You will be able to love those whom the devil is using to make you derail from this heavenly race. It will help you to overlook what they are doing and you see yourself moving ahead despite their wicked acts and schemes (Matt 5:44). You will love just as Christ loves (Lk 23:34).

Let’s read further:

“All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head.” Psalm 22:7

Mockery was a great ingredient in our Lord’s woe. Judas mocked Him in the garden; the chief priests and scribes laughed Him to scorn; Herod set Him at nought; the servants and the soldiers jeered at Him, and brutally insulted Him; Pilate and his guards ridiculed His royalty; and on the tree all sorts of horrid jests and hideous taunts were hurled at Him.

Ridicule is always hard to bear, but when we are in intense pain it is so heartless, so cruel, that it cuts us to the quick. Imagine the Saviour crucified, racked with anguish far beyond all mortal guess, and then picture that motley multitude, all wagging their heads or thrusting out the lip in bitterest contempt of one poor suffering victim!

Surely there must have been something more in the crucified One than they could see, or else such a great and mingled crowd would not unanimously have honoured Him with such contempt. Was it not evil confessing, in the very moment of its greatest apparent triumph, that after all it could do no more than mock at that victorious goodness which was then reigning on the cross? O Jesus, “despised and rejected of men,” how couldst Thou die for men who treated Thee so ill?

Herein is love amazing, love divine, yea, love beyond degree. We, too, have despised Thee in the days of our unregeneracy, and even since our new birth we have set the world on high in our hearts, and yet Thou bleedest to heal our wounds, and diest to give us life.

O that we could set Thee on a glorious high throne in all men’s hearts! We would ring out Thy praises over land and sea till men should as universally adore as once they did unanimously reject.

Thy creatures wrong Thee, O Thou sovereign Good!

Thou art not loved, because not understood:

This grieves me most, that vain pursuits beguile

Ungrateful men, regardless of Thy smile.

Beloved, though He was scorn upon, He not only forgave them, He gracious brought them into His undying love. Look around you today and do likewise to those who offended you, so that we truly gain dominion over all that hitherto troubled you.

This week is declared blessed in the Name of the Lord. Don’t forget to abide in His love and sit in command of your situation. Praise the Lord.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

God’s Thinking Is Not Man’s Thinking

0

Let the power of the Lord comes down amen 2x, in Jesus Name, Let the power of the Lord comes from heaven’s comes down Let the power of the Lord comes down.// Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me 2x, break me, melt me, mold me and use me, Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me 2x.

Heavenly Father we thank You for Your presence this week. We are grateful, we thank You, we bless Your Name, we honour You for Your Mighty works in our lives and situation and we return to say thank You. Blessed be Thy Holy Name in Jesus Name forever.

Beloved, TGIF, are you happy as I am? This week was indeed a blessed week for me, the Hand of the Lord dealt kindly with me and am sure someone has a testimony also concerning God’s goodness, all to the glory of the Lord! Praise the Lord.

Today, we have another opportunity to consider God’s Word, all what we have learnt during the week and beyond practically (PCL). That is, seeing His Word as God see it not as we think it to be. Praise God!

During the week we came across so many new revelation in the Word, remaining us what we knew or new discoveries in the Word of God.

However today, we have an interesting topics before us and am sure you will learn a great deal from it. Praise the Lord!

Come with me as we consider the following teachings as we ask God to help us in living it out:

Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elemental forces of the world, and not based on Christ.—Colossians 2:8

There is a subtle temptation that encourages Christians to be “practical.” That is, they try to do God’s work in man’s way. “Getting results” becomes the primary focus. It almost seems that we believe that the end justifies the means. Don’t be led away by the world’s reasoning. An examination of God’s Word shows that the means are sometimes even more important than the results.

The world tries to convince you that as long as you can accomplish something for the kingdom of God, that’s all that matters. For example, Ananias and Sapphira gave an offering to their church, which was a good thing, but they did it deceitfully. God judged them immediately, not for what they did, but for how they did it (Acts 5:1–11).

Satan tried to trap Jesus with this same temptation. Satan did not question the worthiness of Jesus’ task, but simply offered “practical” solutions to accomplish Jesus’ goal more quickly and at lesser cost. God’s ways are not like man’s ways. “Efficiency” from man’s perspective is not prized by God.

It did not seem efficient to have the children of Israel march around Jericho thirteen times and then blow their trumpets, but it brought the walls down (Josh. 6). It did not appear wise to select the youngest of Jesse’s sons to become the next king, but God saw a man after His own heart (1 Sam. 16:11). At first glance, it does not seem logical for Jesus to have picked the twelve disciples He did, yet through them God dramatically affected their world.

It is never wise to attempt to do God’s work in man’s way. It is an age-old temptation that seems to make sense on the surface but often is at variance with the purposes of God.

Another striking one below, let’s go on:

God Has The Uncomfortable Habit Of Placing His Hands On The Wrong Person

  • A particular sporting goods company only hires salesmen who are six feet or more in height.
  • Look at the yearly financial reports of the men running major corporations and pictures of graying, dignified, polished Madison Avenue types adorn the pages.

As I write, my mind races to two middle eastern countries where the “wrong people” are being used of God to impact some of the toughest places on the earth with the Gospel. Lacking physical attractiveness, charisma, leadership ability, and higher education, these people are unimpressive by the world’s standards, yet daunting in their impact.

God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised thingsso that no one may boast before Him.” (1 Corinthians 1:27-29).

Commenting on the twelve chosen by Jesus, Dr. Mark Wessel observes:

“It was a strange group of men our Lord chose to be his disciples. Four of them were fishermen, one a hated tax collector, another a member of a radical and violent political party… all were laymen… Yet it was with these men that Jesus… disseminated his Good News to the end of the earth.”

As I have pondered Jesus’ selection of these twelve very common men, it seems to me that the only thing they had in common was an uncommon hunger for God (Judas excepted).

The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7b)

Therefore, when you and I choose to work with the “wrong people” of this world who have only their love for God as a drawing point, we may be surprised at:

  • What God will do for our character, and
  • What He may choose to do through them for the world.

Are you here with me? Do you agree with those expositions above?  Did you discover any truth here you will like to put to work and improve your Christian walk? Gently and patiently go through the messages again and make so note. Let us also remember that the love of Jesus secured eternity for us, can we start loving as Christ did, thereby having dominion over all that had previously challenged us. Praise the Lord.

Have a wonderful weekend, and be clothed with His love from above. See you next week by His grace.

Remain blessed in the Lord.

Truth Is a Person

0

I will lift up my voice, I will joyful sing not what You have done but for who You are, You are the song that I sing melody in my heart, the reason I live is to praise You Lord.// Take glory Father, Take glory Son, Take glory Holy Spirit now and forever more.

Heavenly Father we Thank You again today for who You are. You are Ever Faithful, Forever Dependable, Ever Reliable, Unchangeable Changer, Immortal, Invisible, You are the Only Wise God. Thank You Lord. Receive all the praises we offer in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, how are you doing? Hope you maximized the teaching of yesterday which was encouraging us always to pray and not to faint? May God strengthen from above in Jesus Name. May He help us to discern between evil and good and focus on that which is really important in Jesus Name.

Beloveth, do you know the Person of Jesus aside that He is the Son of God, the second Person in Trinity or Triune God? The bible gave us another intro to the Person of Christ- “Jesus is the way, the Truth and the Life”- Jn 14:6. Are you excited about that?

I have realize some striking things in some people’s lives, one among many is that they are never happy or excited about anything that is happening outside their person. If it is not them, why should they be happy or excited about it? I believe you are not among such persons.

Is something exciting to me to know that the One am following is ‘the Way and also the Truth.’ It means I am on the right path, going to heaven. It means that after I have spent my life here on earth and my work is reviewed it will not burn up having worked with gold, silver, and costly stones other than wood, hay and straws (1 Cor 3:12-15).

Beloved, who are you following? Another discovered I also have is that though they are professing Christ, their leaders point them to their selves other than to Christ. They things said according to their leaders other than the according to the word of God. If You are a leader and discover this among Your congregation please correct this erroneous assumption before God will judge You (Acts 12:21-23)It so important to know who and what you are professing.

Also know that in Jesus no guile is found, neither deceit nor lies. Are you living the exemplary life of Jesus? In Jesus, everything points to His Father, he hardly said anything of His own accord. He also do not practice fellow my teaching and not my person as we see these day among brethren and the leaders.

Do you want to know the truth about your situation, family, business and career then follow me as we come to Jesus the Person of truth to discover all and put them in perspective:

They came and woke Him up, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to die!” Then He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves. So they ceased, and there was a calm. He said to them, “Where is your faith?”They were fearful and amazed, asking one another, “Who can this be? He commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey Him!”—Luke 8:24–25

Truth is a Person, not a concept. Jesus said He was the Truth (John 14:6). That means that you can never know the truth of your circumstances unless you have first heard from Jesus. The disciples thought they were perishing in the storm. They were fishermen who knew the sea and knew what their condition was. They had allowed their circumstances to convince them that the “truth” was their imminent death. But they were wrong. Truth was asleep in the back of their boat!

Since some of the disciples were fishermen, they trusted in their own expertise and wisdom rather than recognizing that only Jesus knew the truth of their situation. At times, our human knowledge in certain areas of life can blind us to our desperate need to hear a word from Truth.

When Jesus spoke, the disciples saw the real truth of their situation. There was absolute calm. The disciples had seen Jesus perform other miracles, but they had not yet witnessed His power over nature in such a dimension. Often we are like the disciples.

God may have recently demonstrated His power to us in a mighty way; we may have experienced many spiritual victories in the past. Yet, when a new and frightening situation comes upon us we, too, panic and say, “Lord save me. I’m perishing!” God will remind us of His provision, saying, “I can handle this situation, too, and you will know more of Me because of it.”

Have you become fearful instead of faithful? If you have, prepare for the rebuke, for it will come.

Beloved, did you read that? Often times, we think our end has come because of a devastating situation that crop up along our path, won’t it be rather great if we instead of shrinking back, running away, giving up, throw in the towel look steadily on that situation and declare the Lordship of our Lord Jesus Christ over it and ask it to “try you” (Heb 11:1).

Fear in the place of faith slow us down in some cases makes us immobile but I want to come with me to the next message to see how God handles every situation that arises in the life of every of His child, more discovery:

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God.” Acts 27:23

Tempest and long darkness, coupled with imminent risk of shipwreck, had brought the crew of the vessel into a sad case; one man alone among them remained perfectly calm, and by his word the rest were reassured. Paul was the only man who had heart enough to say, “Sirs, be of good cheer.” There were veteran Roman legionaries on board, and brave old mariners, and yet their poor Jewish prisoner had more spirit than they all. He had a secret Friend who kept his courage up.

The Lord Jesus despatched a heavenly messenger to whisper words of consolation in the ear of His faithful servant, therefore he wore a shining countenance and spake like a man at ease.

If we fear the Lord, we may look for timely interpositions when our case is at its worst. Angels are not kept from us by storms, or hindered by darkness. Seraphs think it no humiliation to visit the poorest of the heavenly family.

If angel’s visits are few and far between at ordinary times, they shall be frequent in our nights of tempest and tossing. Friends may drop from us when we are under pressure, but our intercourse with the inhabitants of the angelic world shall be more abundant; and in the strength of love-words, brought to us from the throne by the way of Jacob’s ladder, we shall be strong to do exploits.

Dear reader, is this an hour of distress with you? then ask for peculiar help. Jesus is the angel of the covenant, and if His presence be now earnestly sought, it will not be denied. What that presence brings in heart-cheer those remember who, like Paul, have had the angel of God standing by them in a night of storm, when anchors would no longer hold, and rocks were nigh.

“O angel of my God, be near,

Amid the darkness hush my fear;

Loud roars the wild tempestuous sea,

Thy presence, Lord, shall comfort me.”

Beloved, the Lord giveth song in the night, I am a living testimony. I don’t know where you are in your walk with God but what I know is that He will never leave you nor forsake thee, He will always be by your side to encourage and comfort you. (Ps 9:18; Gal.3:26, 4:25)

Though everything might be changing, friends and families may took to their heels in the hour of your great tribulations, know this and always bear it in mind- Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Hold on to Jesus, He is the truth of your situation, not what the devil is whispering to your Spirit and be yea thankful and rejoice ever more (2Tim 1:12; Col 3:15, 1 Thess 5:16).

Remain blessed in the Lord.
