Indeed, our God is so good to us; let His Name be Praise forever more. I believe that we are all happy for the visitation we had yesterday by the Lord Himself, He spoke to us in accent distinct and clear. He has given us His Word again and will back it up. Beloved are you ready to enter into your season of grace and glory? if God has said remember “Just believe” He will work it out but you must follow suit.
Beloved, when we receive God’s word, we believe the Word because of Who is behind the Word- God Himself. We believe His Word because He cannot lie. We believe His Word because He is independent, He does not need approval or assistant to get His Word come to past, that is why we say that God is Self-Existing, we also call His El-Shaddai, He is Capable, My God is Reliable, Ever- Dependable, Praise the Lord!
This is our first praying session and the topic says “More than Performance” remember our theme for this month is “grace and glory” God does not deal with us because of our works as good as that might be. Our good works cannot earn us salvation, but grace can. Our service or sacrifice no matter how much cannot earn us salvation but grace can. All our works and righteous are all like filthy rags before God, but God’s righteousness covers all our inadequacies and input God’s righteousness in our lives thereby making us fit to stand before Him. Jesus paid it all. As we enter into the season of grace, the glory will follow soon, so watch out and don’t miss out. Praise God.

More Than Performance
My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.—Proverbs 23:26
Many Christians live on the surface of life and rarely, if ever, look below the waterline. They do have inner longings sometimes to climb higher with God, but their response to these feelings is to focus their attention on what goes on above the waterline—the area of performance and behavior. So they try harder in terms of more Bible reading, more prayer, more giving, more Christian activities.
I would be the last person to view greater obedience as unimportant, but it is not the only, or indeed the final answer. A great mistake made by many Christians who recognize they are not receiving from God the things they ought to be receiving is to think that the solution lies solely in more spiritual effort. The assumption being that as we do more above the waterline, the problems that lie below the waterline will all come right.
Now sometimes greater obedience and more responsible effort do have this result. I have often found, for example, that when a man who falls out of love with his wife chooses a change in behavior and deliberately sets out to do loving things for her, the loving behavior can trigger loving feelings.
There is more to spiritual change, however, than a change on the surface. It can begin there, but it is not complete until the focus moves from the surface down into the depths. Those who remain above the waterline in their Christian living and resist the invitation to look beneath the surface will soon become legalists—good at performing but bad at being.
Prayer
My Father and my God, I see that if change is to take place in me, then it must take place in all of me. Help me to see even more clearly that while what I do is important, what I am in the depth of my being is even more important. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Did you discover something new? Is more than surface when it comes to our relation with God, it goes beyond activities. It looks beyond the waterline, like we were taught yesterday, it goes further than the waterline it goes deeper into the depth. How do we go into depth with God?
On this I will say it means yearning and desiring God in every sphere of our life, it means going deeper with Him in our life, family, career, and ministry. It means God first, it means depending on God and less on self and man. It means God in all totality. It means not counting in our tithe giving, our offerings, our services, our giving, our good works but depending on knowing God deeper and deeper (Tit 3:5).
Beloved, let us pray that God will grant us the needed grace to know Him better and deeper and in turn we will show case His glory according to His Word to us, let us pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Father like ever before hear us we as pray in Jesus Name. Have Your way, again and again. Do for us what no man can do for us, guide us into all truth and shower on us Your blessings that add no sorrow Lord! This we asked in Jesus Name.
