Beloveth, this great month is rolling off today… are you excited? I am because I saw God at every turn… am so excited because our God is Faithful at His promises… what about you?
Today, we will be rounding up the month on the altar of prayer… very special and peculiar… are you excited as I am? Why am excited you may wondering because prayer answers all things… don’t get me wrong… not encouraging laziness…not at all but prayer speaks volume if you have ear to hear… Praise the Name of the Lord… somebody…
Today again you have opportunity to tell God exactly what you want… what do want Me to do for you? asked Your Lord… Jesus Your Saviour…
Secondly, you are settling the month of September before it’s arrival… Praise the Lord somebody!!!
So what are putting forward to Jesus today… The Lord is here to answer… as you pray… like ‘blind Bartimaeus’ tell Jesus categorical what you want from Him… He answered Bartimaeus… He regained his sight… yours will be answered… too… just ask with boldness.. ask believing… ask with right motive … whatever God gives is for kingdom purpose… so when you need something that will not prosper the kingdom… anything… think twice before going before God…

It is hard to believe that the Lord would ask us what He could do for us. However, sometimes that is the question we must answer. Bartimaeus was blind, and he knew exactly what he wanted Jesus to do for him: restore his sight. Yet he received much more than physical sight! He received salvation, for Jesus knew Bartimaeus’s heart was faithful. Bartimaeus immediately used his gift to become a follower of the Savior.
Jesus also asked James and John what they wanted Him to do for them. They requested the most prominent places in His kingdom. This time, Jesus answered that He could not give them what they asked. Their request was selfish, and it brought dissension among their fellow disciples (Mark 10:41).
Only when we pray according to God’s will is He pleased to grant our requests (John 15:16). We will not see our prayers answered if we ask selfishly (James 4:3). If God refrains from giving us what we are asking, we should evaluate our prayers. Are our motives selfish? Are we asking for far less than God wants to give? (2 Kings 13:19; Eph. 3:20).
Are our requests worthy of the God we approach? Do we lack the faith God requires to give us our desires? (Matt. 17:20). Is there unconfessed sin? (Isa. 1:15). God delights in responding to our requests (Matt. 7:7). If we will ask according to His will, we, like Bartimaeus, will receive far more than we anticipated! (Jer. 33:3).
Don’t be surprise that your prayers will get attention even on this last day if you do not pray amidst… spend time in the place of prayer… ask God to shine His light on your path… Let Him hold your hand and lead you on the path of righteousness in Jesus Name… alleluia somebody. everything that is of Him to be taken away from you in Jesus Name…
Beloveth pray for the month ahead just few hours it will announce itself majestically… pray that your September will be a month to Remember… yes… you will look back at the end of it and say of the truth the Lord is good to me…
Ask God to order your desires to match His ‘Will’ and it will surely be so… “Knowing God” is more than enough… if that is your desire cry out to Him and see Him working out miracles on your behalf in Jesus Name…
Father, Lord… Glorify Yourself in my life again, hear me today as I pray… let Your peace flow over my Spirit in Jesus… Amen!
