Beloved, hope you had a nice time with God yesterday as you pour out your heart before His Throne. Yes! We can only pray and believe else we are wasting our time. Remember that “if” form part of your prayer confession it Mighty be very difficult to receive what you are asking from God.
And He said to them “Do believe that I am able to do this?” they said to him “Yes Lord”- Matt 9:28.
On another occasion Jesus asked this same question to the Father of a demon possess boy, hear his answer “I believe! Help my unbelief. Mk 9:24.
The sweetest thing about our Lord Jesus is that is not His wish that any will perish, therefore He is always going about doing if only you will lend Him your faith.
I made a promise yesterday to further explain what I meant by “tying it to Him.” beloved, when you desire a thing, the first thing to do is make sure that is something God must endorse. Secondly, ask His opinion concerning it. Thirdly, is the Lord in need of it? (Matt 21:2-3). If He is, definitely He will endorse it. And when the Lord approve a thing it is as good as done. Come with me to Ps 87. It is it amazing when the Lord backs you up. Praise the Lord.
So many have been help captivity due to lack of knowledge yes! So many have one believe or the others ruling their lives. And today by the grace of God that grave over your intellect and wisdom about who God is and what He does is getting broken right now in Jesus Name.
As much we might be drag to suffer in the sin of other by a way of circumstance surrounding us but the Lord is saying “His plan for you that believes and trust in Him can never be thwarted. He has done it before, He will do it again, just know that no man is powerful enough to stop or hinder God’s plan in your life. They can only try but they will never success.
Our heroes of the day had to suffer because that was the only out but not one of God’s promises to them failed.
Job is one person satan tried and frustrated his life but the bible had it that his end was better than his beginning (Job 42:12).
Rahab was delivered from destruction because she helped the course of God. Therefore, God preserve her and her entire family. That was not all, by helping the furtherance of God purpose unto salvation, God brought her into the lineage of His plan of salvation.
Beloved, this teaching might lead us to another teaching all together. As parent how are you training your children or those under your care? Ummmmmh, let us be careful about the things we allow our children to partake of. Are we teaching them to reverence God? 1 Sam2:22-25.
Remember, we must give account of our deeds and their deeds before the Throne of God.
However, let us zero down to at the point where you must understand that nothing or no man is permitted to hinder you. Just inclined to the Word of God and it shall be well with you. Even when men try, God will make a way of escape for you as He did for me. Let’s discover more:
Only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh remained alive of those men who went to scout out the land.—Numbers 14:38
The decisions and disobedience of others will not cancel God’s will for you. Other people’s actions will affect you, but no one can prevent what God wants to do in and through you. Joshua and Caleb trusted God and yet were forced to wander in a wilderness for forty years because of the fear and disbelief of others.
Have you ever felt that someone was thwarting God’s will for you? Perhaps someone kept you from getting a job or earning a promotion. Perhaps the government would not approve your application or a committee disagreed with your recommendation. Do you believe that mere man can stop God from accomplishing His purposes in your life?
God did everything He intended to do in the lives of Joshua and Caleb. His primary assignment for them had not been to enter the Promised Land but rather to serve as godly leaders for their people. Joshua and Caleb could not lead the people if they were in the Promised Land by themselves while the people were still wandering in the wilderness!
God kept these leaders in a position where they could exert a godly influence upon their nation, and, as a result, they became models of spiritual leadership for generations to come. Even so, God ultimately brought Caleb and Joshua into the Promised Land just as He had said. They had been delayed but not thwarted.
Be assured of this: No one can hinder God from carrying out His plans for your life. Once God sets something in motion, no one can stop it (Isa. 46:11).
Praise the Name of the Lord. who can battle with the Lord, “I said no body” because God will only laugh them to scorn Ps 2:4. Beloved, the Lord will make you to be at peace with your enemies. Therefore hear it again nothing is permitted to hinder you as the resurrection power is lifting you out from the grave, from captivity. Let’s discover more:
“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Prov. 16:7
I must see that my ways please the Lord. Even then I shall have enemies; and, perhaps, all the more certainly because I endeavor to do that which is right. But what a promise this is! The Lord will make the wrath of man to praise Him, and abate it so that it shall not distress me.
He can constrain an enemy to desist from harming me, even though he has a mind to do so. This He did with Laban, who pursued Jacob, but did not dare to touch him. Or He can subdue the wrath of the enemy, and make him friendly, as He did with Esau, who met Jacob in a brotherly manner, though Jacob had dreaded that he would smite him and his family with the sword. The Lord can also convert a furious adversary into a brother in Christ, and a fellow-worker, as He did with Saul of Tarsus. Oh, that He would do this in every case where a persecuting spirit appears!
Happy is the man whose enemies are made to be to him what the lions were to Daniel in the den, quiet and companionable! When I meet death, who is called the last enemy, I pray that I may be at peace.
Only let my great care be to please the Lord in all things. Oh, for faith and holiness; for these are a pleasure unto the Most High!
Beloved, our major concern will be to please the Lord. Are your ways pleasing the Lord? Are you believing that God is God? Do believe that His Word will not fall to the ground. Praise the Lord.
