Beloveth, is Friday!!!!! Is PCL session, Praise the Lord somebody! Alleluia to our God. our God will do us what we cannot do for ourselves Praise the Living Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today in clear terms is a clarion call of service and fellowship with our Lord Jesus. We will be considering how effective are we engaging or will decide to engage going forward.

From creation, God created man for fellowship but instead of seeking companionship with god that made Him, man went seeking pleasure in mundane things that profit Him nothing. And the fellowship was lost, God seek another way to reconcile man that He created back to Himself by sending His son Jesus Christ to die for our salvation, and made Him a sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. (Isa 53:12, 2 Cor 5:21)

Beloveth, may the grace of God that passeth all understanding be made avail to you in your pursuit of kingdom’s work in Jesus Name.

We are called to pattern with Christ by taking the gospel along with us in our various endeavours, yes! our work places, can you take your Jesus to your work place or are you ashamed to do that?

Either ways, your lifestyle will not match your profession or you are not proud of who your Father is but listen to what apostle Paul said in Rom  1:16 “for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth,….”

Vs 17 says” for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Beloveth, don’t forget that it was faith that counted Abraham righteous before God. Do you believe that Jesus die for sinners? If you do then, you will not be afraid to spread the gospel. You are not the one to convert a sinner, it is the work of the Holy Spirit, so don’t be discourage that your mother, Father, siblings are yet to receive Christ, keep on preaching the Word one day it will happen at that appointed time with God, He will bring it to pass and never you doubt your salvation either or be anxious about what you can do to help God. (Jn 17:2).

As we will discover in our teaching today, Simon bore the Cross with Jesus likewise we are called to participant in this kingdom work. It is interesting to note that in your bearing the Cross that Jesus is bearing the heavier part of it with you; He will never leave you to it, Praise the Lord!

Beloveth, are you hunger and thirst on how to partner with Jesus then  come along with us for more:

“On Him they laid the cross, that He might bear it after Jesus.” Luke 23:26

We see in Simon’s carrying the cross a picture of the work of the Church throughout all generations; she is the cross-bearer after Jesus. Mark then, Christian, Jesus does not suffer so as to exclude your suffering. He bears a cross, not that you may escape it, but that you may endure it. Christ exempts you from sin, but not from sorrow. Remember that, and expect to suffer.

But let us comfort ourselves with this thought, that in our case, as in Simon’s, it is not our cross, but Christ’s cross which we carry. When you are molested for your piety; when your religion brings the trial of cruel mockings upon you, then remember it is not your cross, it is Christ’s cross; and how delightful is it to carry the cross of our Lord Jesus!

You carry the cross after Him. You have blessed company; your path is marked with the footprints of your Lord. The mark of His blood-red shoulder is upon that heavy burden. ‘Tis His cross, and He goes before you as a shepherd goes before his sheep. Take up your cross daily, and follow Him.

Do not forget, also, that you bear this cross in partnership. It is the opinion of some that Simon only carried one end of the cross, and not the whole of it. That is very possible; Christ may have carried the heavier part, against the transverse beam, and Simon may have borne the lighter end. Certainly it is so with you; you do but carry the light end of the cross, Christ bore the heavier end.

And remember, though Simon had to bear the cross for a very little while, it gave him lasting honour. Even so the cross we carry is only for a little while at most, and then we shall receive the crown, the glory. Surely we should love the cross, and, instead of shrinking from it, count it very dear, when it works out for us “a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

It is our PCL session and I believe that the Holy Spirit has imparted you for Christ, go on your knees and ask for fresh fire, leave the rest to God Who knows how to do His things in His own best way. And in case you are already on fire for Christ and you are undergoing trials and temptations, be strong in the Lord. Don’t give up, keep holding on,  sooner the Lord will appear and do you good (1 Cor. 16:9, 2 Cor. 4:8-10).

Alleluia to the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Ancient of Days. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judea. Alleluia to His Holy Name forever and ever Amen!!!

Beloveth, submit yourself to Christ under the leadership of Christ and shall be well with you. have a blessed weekend, see you on Monday by if Jesus tarries.

Remain blessed in the Lord.
