May 2

Your Name is Yahweh 2x You are a miracle working God Your Name is Yahweh.// He is the Lord 2x He has risen from the death He is the Lord! Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

Gracious Father we thank You for the gift of another month, the month of May; of Grace and of Peace in Christ. We cannot thank enough for Your faithfulness in our lives, Thank You for preserving us up to the month of April and we are confident of Your Presence in the Month of May. Thank You Father, thank You Lord, thank You Holy Spirit.

Beloveth, hope you had a nice time in God’s presence yesterday? In His Presence there is fullness of joy. The month of May is a month many look forward to both in the spiritual and secular. Ask a farmer about the month of May and you know more about this wonderful month in midst of all the months.

However, for us as a ministry this month has been declared for us a month of dominion through Grace and Peace from the Lord Christ Jesus (Jn 20:19; Eph 2:11-22). Am hearing a clap offering unto the Lord, praise the Lord.

The under-laying truth in our walk with God is that we are nothing without the Spirit of God. `

Before Christ went to the cross, He prayed diverse prayers for His disciples. He prayed to God for His preservation over this ones and for those who will yet be part of this fold. Likewise when He appeared before them after his resurrection He said to them “Peace be with You” (Jn 20:19; 21)

Beloved, can you guess the state of the disciples when this pronouncement was made? Where were the disciples as at the time of this saying? What do you think is going on their mind before this pronouncement was made?

To help you, they were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Having crucified Jesus their master, who are they? And in this state and condition the once brave Peter and other disciples went hiding.

However, with Jesus appearance and pronouncement of the Holy Spirit upon them they were bolding again to “Go” as was the next commandment by the Lord as He sent by His Father so He sent them.

Therefore by this declaration from our Lord concerning us as a ministry before the end of this month, so many are coming to the Lord, many more will be breaking new grounds while so many will be gaining new heights by the risen of His Grace and Peace in and through us. Praise the Name of the Lord.

It so important we note that what He says He will do, He will surely do. His declarations must surely come to past if you believe. I believe Him, what about you?

Part of Jesus appearance to His disciples was the fact that even they His disciples did not believe that He was risen (Mk 16:12-14). As in the days of the Apostles, many today did not believe that Christ is risen. Many are doubting whether He will come back again Acts 1: 11; Rev 3:11 (we are not going into this in detail today).

Come along with me as we discover more:

“His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers.” Song 5:13

Lo, the flowery month is come! March winds and April showers have done their work, and the earth is all bedecked with beauty. Come my soul, put on thine holiday attire and go forth to gather garlands of heavenly thoughts. Thou knowest whither to betake thyself, for to thee “the beds of spices” are well known, and thou hast so often smelt the perfume of “the sweet flowers,” that thou wilt go at once to thy well-beloved and find all loveliness, all joy in Him.

That cheek once so rudely smitten with a rod, oft bedewed with tears of sympathy and then defiled with spittle—that cheek as it smiles with mercy is as fragrant aromatic to my heart. Thou didst not hide Thy face from shame and spitting, O Lord Jesus, and therefore I will find my dearest delight in praising Thee. Those cheeks were furrowed by the plough of grief, and crimsoned with red lines of blood from Thy thorn-crowned temples; such marks of love unbounded cannot but charm my soul far more than “pillars of perfume.”

If I may not see the whole of His face I would behold His cheeks, for the least glimpse of Him is exceedingly refreshing to my spiritual sense and yields a variety of delights. In Jesus I find not only fragrance, but a bed of spices; not one flower, but all manner of sweet flowers. He is to me my rose and my lily, my heart’s- ease and my cluster of camphire. When He is with me it is May all the year round, and my soul goes forth to wash her happy face in the morning-dew of His grace, and to solace herself with the singing of the birds of His promises.

Precious Lord Jesus, let me in very deed know the blessedness which dwells in abiding, unbroken fellowship with Thee. I am a poor worthless one, whose cheek Thou hast deigned to kiss! O let me kiss Thee in return with the kisses of my lips.

Let read on:

“I am the rose of Sharon.” Song 2:1

Whatever there may be of beauty in the material world, Jesus Christ possesses all that in the spiritual world in a tenfold degree. Amongst flowers the rose is deemed the sweetest, but Jesus is infinitely more beautiful in the garden of the soul than the rose can in the gardens of earth.

He takes the first place as the fairest among ten thousand. He is the sun, and all others are the stars; the heavens and the day are dark in comparison with Him, for the King in His beauty transcends all. “I am the rose of Sharon.” This was the best and rarest of roses. Jesus is not “the rose” alone, He is “the rose of Sharon,” just as He calls His righteousness “gold,” and then adds, “the gold of Ophir”—the best of the best. He is positively lovely, and superlatively the loveliest. There is variety in His charms.

The rose is delightful to the eye, and its scent is pleasant and refreshing; so each of the senses of the soul, whether it be the taste or feeling, the hearing, the sight, or the spiritual smell, finds appropriate gratification in Jesus. Even the recollection of His love is sweet. Take the rose of Sharon, and pull it leaf from leaf, and lay by the leaves in the jar of memory, and you shall find each leaf fragrant long afterwards, filling the house with perfume.

Christ satisfies the highest taste of the most educated spirit to the very full. The greatest amateur in perfumes is quite satisfied with the rose: and when the soul has arrived at her highest pitch of true taste, she shall still be content with Christ, nay, she shall be the better able to appreciate Him. Heaven itself possesses nothing which excels the rose of Sharon.

What emblem can fully set forth His beauty? Human speech and earth-born things fail to tell of Him. Earth’s choicest charms commingled, feebly picture His abounding preciousness. Blessed rose, bloom in my heart for ever!

Beloved, everything we have is possible in Christ Jesus, we are outside the fold before now but through the grace that was made available to us we are who we are in Christ (Eph 2: 12-13). We are by this declaration grafted into the fold and we are to enjoy the peace of the Lord. We are no more to be afraid of what the enemy can do to us for we are more than conqueror through the peace of Jesus release upon us. Amen!  Receive this peace, and let not your heart be troubled neither let it be fearful (Jn 14:27).

Once again we welcome you into your “month of Grace and Peace from Christ Jesus.”

Remain blessed in the Lord.
