Yes! Father You are so good to me, glory, honour, adoration belong to You alone Who is worthy of my Praise. Thank You Lord for the gift of this week, thank You Most Gracious Redeemer for the great and mighty things You are doing and will continue to do in our lives, You are more than what we call You, Ancient One, receive all the glory, all honour belongs to You alone Who is worthy of my Praise. Arise O! Lord and come and have your glory, come and do that which only can do in the lives of Your children who confidently and steadily look up to You.

Give us testimonies that has a stamp of throne on it. Yes! a stamp of the heavenliest in Jesus Name. Is only You Lord that can do what no man can do. Your Name is El-Rohi, You are the Alpha and Omega, Changeless, Ageless, Almighty, Redeemer, glory and honour be ascribe to Your Name on high in Jesus Name.

Beloved, how are doing today? Hope you are doing great? I hope the Lord is dealing kindly with you, glory be Him on high. Beloveth, has this week ministration been impactful to you? I want us to return all the praises to the King of kings. Ancient One, He is Beginning and the End, I have search through all ends of the earth, there is none there is none like Him.

We are going to consider some of teaching we had during the week in our PLC today as it consist what we come across daily as we transverse through and get our bits done on daily basis. A lot of people are at the verge of giving up in life due to pressure they face daily either in their family, community, work place even in the place of worship. Satan daily scheme on how to bring down those who think that they are standing, those who feel they are strong and lack nothing money can buy.

He bombards the homes with husband and wife backing each other and children going rebellious, even the house of God is no safe place for he appears as angel of light causing confusion all over. Looking at this with your natural eyes will get you piss off and you will want to go the other way but for those who are in the Lord favour, with their eyes of understanding open, will know that it all in schemer’s agenda to get them frustrated and off the race. So watch and pray, the Spirit of the Lord is saying to such one bearing in mind that Christ was also tempted but He never gave in.

We learnt a new dimension to prayer if you were in tuned up with what the Spirit of God was doing. This week on prayer made it clear why we receive not what we ask from God, when we pray without understanding from the Word of God, when we dwell little in our closet, when we spend less time reading and mediating in the Word of God.

Beloved in nutshell the most effective prayer is “praying God’s Word back to Him,” there will be performance of His promises to us when we do.

Yesterday’s ministration threw more light on one of the weapons use by our adversary, Satan to assault the children of God, “Fear,” even the Word of God warned against it and the Spirit of God declares God’s counsel concerning it. “For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have receive the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba Father  (Rom 8:15, Hag 2:5,) .

Beloved, the Word said that fear has torment but perfect love has no fear, it therefore means that if you are still living in the bondage of fear, you are yet to experience the true love of God which He give to His dearly beloved ones. (1Jn 4:18; Ps 119:45, Isa 61:1, Lk 4:18, Gal 2:4; 5:1).

But there was a Macedonians call to us to have our faith built on the Rock of Ages, the Ancient One, this faith brings justification to us before the throne of grace knowing that all what we pass through in life is meant to make us better children of God which is one of the crux of this ministry.

Beloved, what are your values? You don’t need to think far, just check out you spending in cash and cheques drawn from your account, the places you visited and the calls you made in the last three months it will tell you your value placement without missing words. Even the Word of God said where the wealth of a man is, there lies his heart (Ps 49:6).

However, we must learn from Apostle Paul who in spite of his statues as a Roman citizen, as a Lawyer, well position in authority of his days called it all dung to the excellence of the knowledge of our Lord Jesus which he had. (Php 3:8). So we ought to learn and do.

Beloved, our Christian walk with God is not what we will treat with cloves hands but must always give serious thought to as we ought lest we miss out at the end, God forbids in Jesus Name, but it calls for a work. Let’s get more below:

Our Values

 

Power. Intelligence. Athletic ability. Efficiency. Winning. Affluence. Visibility.

These are among the values we hold in high esteem, idolize… even worship.

Human frailty, failure, weakness, and poverty we avoid like the plague.

In our society there is little room or tolerance for those who are second or third string. Not a lot of respect among us for older people — they’re out of date. Slow. Not “with it.”

So what happens when God decides to deal with our pride through illness and frailty… possibly through failure? What happens when we cannot call the shots, control the circumstances, or determine the outcome?

Is our peace of mind and our sense of worth so fragile that it is predicated upon the guarantee of life’s optimum circumstances or upon a continual string of successes and recognition? Or is it based upon an inner intimacy with Jesus Christ? If not, then God has some serious spade work to do on our soul.

Remember, our Sovereign Father’s two primary objectives are His glory, and the development of our character into Christlikeness, and He will use whatever means necessary to accomplish them. Pain, C. S. Lewis argued, may well be God’s megaphone to a morally deaf world.

I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, for My own sake, I did this. How can I let Myself be defamed? I will not yield My glory to another.” (Isaiah 48:10, 11)

As long as we are relying upon our accomplishments or bowing to the world’s idols to gain our peace or sense of worth, God is unable to work in and through us. Because it is only in our weakness… yes, in our dependency upon Him that He chooses to work and to give us inner-contentment:

He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christs power may rest on me. That is why, for Christs sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, 10)

I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:12b-13)

Spiritual knowledge of Christ will be a personal knowledge. I cannot know Jesus through another person’s acquaintance with Him. No, I must know Him myself; I must know Him on my own account. It will be an intelligent knowledge—I must know Him, not as the visionary dreams of Him, but as the Word reveals Him.

I must know His natures, divine and human. I must know His offices—His attributes—His works—His shame—His glory. I must meditate upon Him until I “comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.”

It will be an affectionate knowledge of Him; indeed, if I know Him at all, I must love Him. An ounce of heart knowledge is worth a ton of head learning. Our knowledge of Him will be a satisfying knowledge. When I know my Saviour, my mind will be full to the brim—I shall feel that I have that which my spirit panted after. “This is that bread whereof if a man eat he shall never hunger.”

At the same time it will be an exciting knowledge; the more I know of my Beloved, the more I shall want to know. The higher I climb the loftier will be the summits which invite my eager footsteps. I shall want the more as I get the more. Like the miser’s treasure, my gold will make me covet more.

To conclude; this knowledge of Christ Jesus will be a most happy one; in fact, so elevating, that sometimes it will completely bear me up above all trials, and doubts, and sorrows; and it will, while I enjoy it, make me something more than “Man that is born of woman, who is of few days, and full of trouble”; for it will fling about me the immortality of the everliving Saviour, and gird me with the golden girdle of His eternal joy.

Come, my soul, sit at Jesus’s feet and learn of Him all this day.

Yes! our Christian walk calls for growth, we must move from pure milk to strong bones in Jesus Name. we must grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and also live our lives as He lives. Praise the Lord.
