Our Father in heaven, we appreciate You Lord for Your care in the Life of Your children. It is not by power nor might but by Thou Spirit says the King of kings. We grateful for the health of mind and body, O Lord my God Thank You for another week ahead of us it will be a fruitful week indeed. Amen!

Beloved, how will you feel when you are overtaken by blessings? How excited will you want to discuss with everybody about your recent achievement; your success in that business, your admission in your choice school, how about your recent employment in that dream establishment. Am sure you will glad to share the good news around.

Am as excited as you are, for the blessings of God add joy and no sorrow. Do you also know that every hunger the Lord is able to satisfy? Whatever manner of hunger, our God is able to satisfy it. Be it spiritual, emotional, or physical, our God is more than able to do that which no man can do for you. Just come to the throne, the hunger will be satisfied and your thirst will be quench. All these will be dependent on your obedience to the will of God, are you ready?

All these blessings will come and overtake you, because you obey the Lord your God: —Deuteronomy 28:2

When you walk in fellowship with God, you do not have to ask Him to bless you. He wants to bless you! Just as you enjoy surprising someone you love with unexpected gifts, God delights in giving you His gifts in times and ways that you might never expect.

God’s blessings often come in the midst of your everyday life—an encouraging telephone call in the middle of a busy morning or a letter you receive at the end of a hard day. A friend may drop by to help when you are overwhelmed, or you may receive unexpected financial help at a time of need. Often, God’s blessings do not come in spectacular ways but in the ordinary busyness of your life. They come just when you most need an expression of God’s love.

Blessings come as a result of obedience. When you walk closely with the Lord, blessings will come, regardless of whether you seek them. Blessings from your obedience will also come to those around you—to your children and to your grandchildren. Solomon enjoyed vast wealth during his reign, but God’s blessing upon him came largely as a result of his father David’s obedience in the previous generation. God promised Abraham that his obedience would bring blessing to all the families of the earth (Gen. 12:2–3).

Do not take God’s gifts for granted. When you receive an unexpected blessing, thank God for His continuing love and be alert to recognize the next time His blessing overtakes you! The evidences will be there, because God will always leave a witness to what He is doing.  Your hunger will He satisfy and enrich your soul with goodness:

“For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.” Ps. 107:9

It is well to have longings, and the more intense they are the better. The Lord will satisfy soul-longings, however great and all-absorbing they may be. Let us greatly long, for God will greatly give. We are never in a right state of mind when we are contented with ourselves, and are free from longings. Desires for more grace, and groanings which cannot be uttered, are growing pains, and we should wish to feel them more and more. Blessed Spirit, make us sigh and cry after better things, and for more of the best things!

Hunger is by no means a pleasant sensation. Yet blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness. Such persons shall not only have their hunger relieved with a little food, but they shall be filled. They shall not be filled with any sort of rough stuff, but their diet shall be worthy of their good Lord, for they shall be filled with goodness by Jehovah Himself.

Come, let us not fret because we long and hunger, but let us hear the voice of the Psalmist as he also longs and hungers to see God magnified. “Oh, that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men.”

Be reminded that you are nothing outside God, just a little cough from above you will catch cold; let’s us humbly yourself before the throne of mercy and obtain mercy for our daily living in Christ Jesus.

Your week is blessed in Jesus name. The word ministry be one year by the 28th of this month, praise the Lord! We covet your prayers throughout the week and beyond for more grace from above to be worthy vessel before God. Amen!

Remain blessed in the Lord.
